My husband lost his iPhone on the train… Does anyone know if the train station has a lost and found that can be checked for this?

Not so much a station-but the railway concerned. You did not give any details about this. It will differ quite a lot as per country and railway how it is organised. And of course you also run the chance that some did not report a found fone, but took it with him/her.
I´ve never used a railpass on the fone, but it seems there is a way to contact staff and have it moved to a new nr-check the site for that.

Where were your seats? (Carriage Number / Seat number)
