Hey all, I need to travel from Netherlands to Norway with my dog (15kg). I find it difficult to find clear information about different train operators’ policies regarding pets, does anyone have experience on travelling this route with a dog?

Thanks :)

In Sweden you must make reservations in an animal compartment if you travel with high speed trains, IC trains or night trains. If you travel with reservation free trains you must look for the part of the train that allows animals.

Same counts for Norway on long distance trains (RegionTog) and night trains.

You'll find an overview here:

Depending on your route, you'll probably need to look at the pages of The NL, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
