Hey everyone,

I will be travelling on a One-Country France Pass through France. I live in Germany close to the border and want to take the local train Offenburg-Kehl-Strasbourg to cross the border. I also own a Deutschlandticket which is valid up to the borderpoint Kehl (Gr) (which is a few metres further than the physical train station of Kehl).

My question is if I need an additional ticket for the section Kehl (Gr) to Krimmeri-Meinau (first stop in France) or if my interrail will also cover this stretch.

Maybe this is kind of similar to Basel SNCF/SBB being included in the one-country France pass.

Any suggestions?

Hello @Sebastian Vetter

I suggest to add the journey manually from Kehl (Gr) to Strasbourg. Indicate that this border point is in France.

You should not need any extra ticket, since both tickets are valid until the border tariff point Kehl(Gr).

The situation in Basel is different.
