Tour plan

“I know I am asking a lot of questions and time of yours, but it would be of great help to me as a first time traveller in Europe”.

The attached is my probable tour plan, can you all please give me tips regarding the following.
1. Apps or websites which give me live status of the trains, for example for Netherlands its “NS” wherein I can track the live status of the trains in the app with the platform.
2. Best place to make seat reservations, can you also give me the websites for the places mentioned. Or would aggregators/apps like Klook or rail planner are better.
3. Suggest me any good alternatives if the timings of the trains seems to be off, also suggest me if I am missing out on any iconic trains, my only criteria is to stay near to the commonly travelled attractions.
4. Suggest me the mischievious trains which generally are late or might cause a problem in the trip.
5. What happens if I dont have internet on my mobile which has the passes?
6. What happens if I miss any train, how to add the next one? If there isnt any other one on that day what would happen?
7. Are there any luggage restrictions for 2nd class travel in the above trains.
8. As I would be travelling tourist locations, which all places should I be buying the local transport passes like travelling through rome might not be allowed via eurail or makes it longer, suggest me the best ones for my travel itinerary (Roma pass or so for all the not allowed ones)

  1. Use the app of the country you're in. DB, ÖBB, SBB and ČD also have good general purpose international planners.
  2. For reservations, use this page as a guide. If you have a problem to book a train, then you can ask here if you mention at least route, date and departure time.
  3. The resolution of your screenshot is too low so nobody can read your plan.
  4. The resolution of your screenshot is too low so nobody can read your plan.
  5. You need internet to activate your pass, to activate a travel day and at least once every 24 hours. After activating a travel day, which you should only do on the day you travel, you don't need internet anymore to show the pass barcode, or to add/remove trains.
  6. You can add/remove train easily. The railway company is obliged to help if you miss a train or if you're stranded, so then always ask any railway staff. But it's usually a good idea to leave enough connection time for a train that only runs once per day.
  7. If you can carry your own luggage into the train in one go, then you should be fine.
  8. This is different for each city.

2.) For italy ÖBB is usually your best option as they do not charge additional fees on top of the reservation costs (the linked guide should describe how to do that)

If you travel alone i would only get  the mandatory reservations.

3.) Your train times look mostly fine ( no day with more then 7 hours of travel)

6.) Looking at your plan yoou are mostly travelling in the morning, so last train of the day should not be a problem you encounter. And it looks like most of those are frequent routes
