Travel to the UK with Serbian pasport and residence permit for Germany: Visa needed?

Hi,

my friend and I are planning on getting the Interrail Pass and would like to travel to the UK but she has a serbian pasport but a residence permit for Germany. Does she have to apply for a visa and if, which one would that be?

    The best is to check with the Serbian and UK authorities. That's more reliable than opinions on an Interrail forum.
