Making Eurostar reservations before buying pass

We’re a family of four (2 adults, 17yo and 13 yo) who are planning on interrailling in August 24.
I want to make our Eurostar seat reservations now so we can get the train we want but I was hoping there maybe a sale on pass prices in March (was hoping for a New Year one….)  and so wanted to delay buying the pass until later in the year.
The raileurope website asks for a pass number when I try to book the seat reservations.
Any advice?

You may use https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish (Belgian Railways, 4€ fee per order).

Enter I1111111 or any pass number, it doesn’t appear anywhere and the reservation is tied to the name, not the number.
