Basel to Paris which website I can book from ?

Don't go Basel to Paris, go Basel to Mulhouse without reservation and the board the TGV in Mulhouse. That will save you a lot of money and the domestic French TGV can be booked through the link above provided by @thibcabe

If you have a mobile pass you need to generate a Pass Cover Number in order to make the reservation at b-europe. You do that here in the PCN generator:

You should be able to book both of these through the Interrail reservations service. The trains are not showing up in search results at the moment, so I guess there’s some problems with the database.

https://www.interrail.eu/en/book-reservations#/

I would suggest trying again later!

Here are all the other ways to book the TGV Lyria from Basel - Paris, you can try here as well. (And if you scroll up a little, you will see instructions for the ICE from Strasbourg - Paris.)

For the trains departing in Switzerland you just board the trains without reservation.

Surely not for the TGV-Lyria Basel - Paris?

Edit: ah, for the domestic trains in Switzerland, yes.

Here for Strasbourg - Paris or Mulhouse - Paris (10€) :

https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish

Interrail for Basel-Paris direct (expensive, about 30€)
