Problem changing start date for inter-rail trip


Hi,

On the app, I entered a start date of 15 August. I now prefer to start on the 14 August but I don’t see the option to cancel (as stated in the FAQs). I then added a journey on the 14 August (accepted) but the trip first day is still showing 15 August. 

I’m also not convinced that my trip as defined is lnked to my pass. Both are showing on the app.

Any advice welcome.

On the FAQs, it says “Go to your Pass in My Pass and tap 'Cancel travel day'.” But I don’t have the option. 

Dear John, thank you for your question. Please accept my apology for the late response.


You can cancel your first travel day any time before the start of that day (00:00 CET). Go to your Pass in My Pass section and tap cancel travel day. You can then choose a new first travel day by adding a journey to your Pass on that day or by adding a new travel day in My Trip. 

If the above does not work, in order to change the first travel day, please deactivate the Pass and activate it with the desired date.
