Hi there noticed on the chat about somebody coming to Scotland and travelling to Edinburgh ,Inverness and places. Just asking can I do that in England for Two Three or Four days with my Interrail pass as I thought you had to put Date going out the country date coming back in the country. Sorry newbie to this. As A UK resident it’s more nuanced, you can travel in your own country (the UK/GB on only two travel days). On those travel days you can take as much trains as you want. Best use those inbound/outbound days for the most expensive trips (which is often Eurostar) or longer trains to the nearest ferry port or airport..

If you decide to use the two home country days in the UK self, you’ll need to buy ordinary tickets for Eurostar or to the nearest (air)port.


Even though I stay in UK can travel with interrail pass in UK I knew I can in say like Germany but not country of residence
