My girlfriend and I bought a 3 months mobile global pass on the 10th of May, here in 2022. When is the last possible date that we can activate and hereby begin our 3 months interrail trip? Just to be sure that we understand the 11-months principle. Sincerely, Karen and Anders from Denmark.
I booked a three-month global pass I planned to use between early July and late September. As I had severe delays on multiple of my journeys in July, I decided to claim a refund. To my delight, it didn’t take long until I received a small sum. The negative consequence I wasn’t expecting is that my pass got deactivated even though it is valid for another month.I now know that the ticket has to be deactivated to claim a refund but instead of simply deactivating the pass for me without warning, they could have told me that a refund was not possible as long as the pass is in use.Is there a way of having my pass reactivated? I am happy to return the refund. I already contacted the customer service but still haven’t heard back. I’m planning to travel in a week and really need to make those reservations. Many thanks!

Wir möchten morgen früh unsere Reise starten, allerdings haben wir ein Problem mit dem Mobile Pass , da wir das falsche Geburtsjahr von unserem Kind im Interrail Ticket angegeben haben und ihn nicht zu unserer Reise hinzufügen können.Das Geburtsjahr lässt sich auch nicht über unser Interrailkonto ändern.Wir haben Interrail über alle möglichen Kanäle versucht zu kontaktieren, aber leider bisher niemanden erreicht.Hat jemand von euch einen Rat?Lieben Dank im Voraus!
Hello! I'm in Italy currently and I'm having trouble using the Trenitalia self-service ticket machines to make reservations for Eurail. Does anyone have experience doing it successfully?According to the Eurail website "At a self-service machine at main Italian train stations. Select your train and click on "Global Pass". This seems really out of date and doesn't make sense. I can't see any Global Pass option at all.I'll head to ticket office to make reservation a little bit later (I was too short on time to queue earlier), just checking if I'm missing something.
I made a seat reservation for EuroStar that went from London ST Pancras INT to Paris Nord on 20 August 2022, 20:01. However, the train was cancelled due to railway strikes in the UK. I contacted Eurail for a refund, but they told me I needed to contact Eurail since I made I reservation here. When I checked my Order on the website, the system stats that I can not get a refund... I do not understand why I am not elidgible for a refund. Is there a way to contact customer support directly?
i bought the pass from the browser, then i added it to the app and went to create the trip on the app. if i go back to the browser to book the trains the trip that i have on the app doesnt appear but an other one that was automately created is there. can i buy and book the train even tho there trips are not the same or i have to find a way to solve this?
The train I made a reservation for got cancelled by Thalys and I received the information per email that I can get a free exchange or refund. The train departs at Amsterdam Centraal on the 15th of September and goes to Paris North.When I want to cancel my reservation, I would only get back 75% of the reservation costs and the database still shows this train even though it got cancelled, so I assume that is why I am not able to get back the full cost yet.I already sent a request to the customer service two days ago; however, I can’t estimate how long I must wait for a response. Since this is a popular (and pricy) route and requires a reservation and there is less than a month left, should I already make a new reservation for an earlier train and then hope to get back full refund later or should I just wait for customer service to reach back to me?Other suggestions are appreciated as well! :)
I went to the Austrian rail site OEBB and did a search between some smaller towns, and it gave me bus routes instead of train routes. Does the Global Pass cover those buses? It seems they might be operated by OBB or affiliated with it. For example between Oztal and Reutte. (By the way, I did a search from Vienna to Hallstat on the Eurail site and it came up empty, so thats why I started using the OEBB site)
A friend of a friend traveled by Eurail and told me that when you leave a destination you cannot pass through it again during the trip. Example, on a Milan/Bologna/Torino trip, leaving Milan and going to Bologna, I could not go back to Milan and then go to Torino. She said it works like a cycle, where you have to start and end in the city you started in without passing through it in the middle of the way. Can you please confirm if this is true?
With the Eurail global pass, do we need to buy tickets/reservations on the various trains or can we simply show our Eurail pass and board any train?
My group of 6 people are traveling from Germany to Switzerland to Italy late September and early October this year. If we buy the Eurail global pass do we need to buy tickets/reservations on the various trains or can we simply show our Eurail pass and board any train during the time period we purchased the passes for? This is all new to us, and we appreciate the help!

Im French i have a big problem now immediately.I have 2 trips left to use on my 7day 1 month pass (trip 6 and 7)I have already used the inbound and outbound to go to Denmark from Paris on trip 5.and now I'm on the train to go to Toulouse from Paris and I can't register it on my passi have a message who say « It looks like you've used your outbound/inbound journeysyou'll need to buy a separate ticket to make this journey »how can I associate my trip with my Pass please to obtain the QR code that I must present to the controller?the controller asks me for a high fine for me and my 3 children who are traveling with me.Thank you for your helpmy email address if you have an answer email@example.com
Hello,on sept 4th i need to travel from Leipzig to Carcassonne and on sept 18th i need to move back from Lleida to Bayreuth. I do not have a smartphone with me but I don’t have the time to wait for the printed pass to be delivered (it would be delivered before sept 7th). Is there a possibility to print the non-mobile pass by myself?Thank you very much!Vincent Kokot
If I purchase the paper pass, can I still use the mobile pass? My concern is where there may be issues that at some stations they can’t use the mobile to scan our passes, or if I lose my mobile; so it would be preferable to have paper in these instances.
