I would travel from Belgrade to Bar. The route through the mountains is magnificent, and the sea awaits you at the end.

I’d love to travel from Vienna to Venice on the NightJet sleeper. Enjoying the famous cafes of Vienna (you’ll never find me far from a cake!) one day and then waking in the romantic city of Venice the next morning (walking into St Peter’s Square before the crowds!) would be the perfect trip for me - together with the best travel companion, my wife Helen.

I‘d go for the Caledonian Sleeper, since it seems to be a notch up from the common night jet and I’d love to explore Scotland a bit more.

There’s truly nothing like the magic of falling asleep in one European capital and waking up to the sunrise in another! 🌙✨

Stepping onto the ÖBB Nightjet in Paris, watching the city lights fade into the night sky, and waking up to fresh pastries in Vienna is the ultimate vibe.

I would love to take the Caledonian Sleeper train to the Scottish Highlands. that sounds amazing to me.

For me the choice would also be the Caledonian Sleeper. I have never visited Scotland and I would like to enjoy the beautiful scenery. 

I would sleep through the ride from Helsinki to Lapland + the Santa Claus Express 

Belgrade - Bar or vice versa

Just because of the incredible scenery along the part in Montenegro of the trip.

I would choose the one operated by SJ from Berlin/Hamburg up to Stockholm, it's an area I'd really like to explore 

If I could choose a night train to take it would be the one from Stockholm to Kiruna in the north of Sweden to experience the vast length of the country and wake up above the polar circle.

Paris to Venice. Arriving across the lagoon into Santa Lucia is magical. 

Stockholm - Narvik

To experience the midnight sun in the summer or have a chane to see the Nothern lights during the journey during the winter.

I would take a night train from Germany to Stockholm, because I just love the country and the last time I was in Stockholm I was sick - so I need another turn!!

I love night trains. I'd take the one from Arad to Wien so I can then continue taking short random trains during the day in the mountains of Austria, after a nice sleep and 7 hours of the trip already passed. 

My choice, among all the night routes available, would probably be to Amsterdam. Maybe from Wien, since I already went To A'dam from Zurich (which I think was the closest to where I live, in Italy). Why? Well, as I know wien-amsterdam have pretty new night trains, and they seem so comfy 😍 also, I'd love to practice my not-so-good dutch skills in Amsterdam (or nearby) ✨ 

I'm currently planning a trip to Scotland and this question inspired me to check what sleeper trains are even available. The one from Hamburg to Brussels looks like a really good option because while I've travelled through Belgium I've never actually visited the country. I remember taking a sleeper to France when I was really young. I was so excited about it that it's literally the only memory I have of that trip 😁

I would love to go from Stockholm to Narvik. Waking up in the middle of the tundra covered with Snow 🥰

I would take the Caledonian Sleeper. I have not been to Scotland in a long time and that train sounds magnificent.

Belgrade to Bar route - for the stunning scenery and interesting conversations with the characters I hope to meet.

We’ll be taking the Doğu Ekspresi from the urban bustle of Ankara to Kars and the heart of eastern Türkiye. We’ll board the train in bustling Ankara; it’ll whisk us through the night in couchette comfort to Sivas, just in time for breakfast. Then we travel on to enjoy the daytime vistas of eastern Türkiye: forests, ravines and snow-capped mountains.

I'd go for the EuroNight 347 Vienna - Bucharest. Why? It's got some of my wild romanian memories engraved in it. Going to bed in clean and posh Vienna and waking up in rugged noisy and seemingly chaotic Balkan. Just to get yourself a black coffee and a cigarette at this not so nice looking place where the locals gather and play septică. So you sit down with them. You don't understand a word, neither do they, but they hand you the cards and light up your smoke. And so you play...

Northeast Portugal. My grandparents, (all 4) were born in the Azores (San Miguel). Want to see the beautiful country where they are from.
