I'm not sure where EXACTLY, but I'd choose someplace northern. Finland or Norway. Being in a mild city the whole day, and then in the evening boarding the train and waking up in a veeeeeery snowy place 😩

The Nightjet from Vienna to Rome, to visit Bella Italia while being on exchange in autumn!

Definitely the Sofia-Istanbul express. I've never tried night trains before, and this one seems like a good starter. I also love turkish food and culture so it is a trip that I really want to do one day.

Narvik to Stockholm. Repair work meant it wasn’t available last Summer and I had to double back Trondheim to Oslo instead, so it’s really unfinished business and definitely on my bucket list.

I would love to take either a sleeper train to Stockholm from Germany, or a sleeper train inside of Scandinavia. I just love to travel in Scandinavia, and a sleeper train is perfect for making some distance without the need to fly!

The Nightjet to Vienna because I'm curious about the mini cabins - seem perfect for solo travelers!

I would take the train from Paris to latour-de-carol and take my baby with me, to show her a Parisian life in the evening and the beautiful landscapes in the morning.

From Torino to Palermo, to see all of Italy from our window and board a ferry without leaving thé 'ship on rails' and arrive in a different world more than 2000km from thé evening before !

The Night Riviera from London to Cornwall because from there I can go on to the Isles of Scilly.

I would pick the Intercity Notte from Catania to Bologna as it would be the longest nighttrain I have been on and I really want to see the train split up for the ferry. Seeing this together with my family is a perfect way of creating wonderfull memories. 

I would take the EuroNight train EN Kalman Imre route  from Budapest - Vienna - Zurich  (EN 40462/40467). I would explore the delightful spas of Budapest, the histories of amazing classical music composers in Austria, and enjoy the fine cheese and chocolate treats offered in Zurich. My mother’s fondest dream was to enjoy a scenic train trip in beautiful Switzerland. I wish to enjoy the same, and so much more, with the convenience of night train travel! 

The Stockholm–Narvik sleeper. Watching the Arctic landscape roll by and waking up above the Arctic Circle sounds like pure magic. :)

On my wishlist would be the Night Riviera to Cornwall, England, or the Caledonian Sleeper to Scotland! I’d love to see more of the UK by train and was recommended both in a couple of train travel books. Whether it would be a summery destination or rather a mountain adventure remains to be seen!

I'd choose the Prietenia sleeper train between Bucharest and Chișinău.

It may not be Europe's most luxurious night train, but it's certainly one of the most unique. The journey combines history, engineering and adventure in a way few others do. My favourite part would be the stop at Ungheni, where the entire train is lifted so its wheelsets can be changed from the European standard gauge to the broader Moldovan gauge, all while passengers remain on board.

For me, the best rail journeys aren't just about comfort, they're about experiencing something you can't find anywhere else. Spending the night on the Prietenia would feel like travelling through both Europe and railway history at the same time.

I would love to take the Caledonian Sleeper train to the Scottish Highlands.

My dream night train will be "London- Edinburgh". It is my dream. I have watched so many videos of the route that I really dream of being there!

I would do the nighttrain from Germany to Sweden. It would be very convenient for me to visit friends while waking up refreshed early in the morning. Every other way of travelling I would arrive very late.

I would choose a trip from Stockholm (Sweden) to Narwik (Norway), as it is one of the longest night train connections and the views should be gorgeous. Would I see the Northern lights? Hopefully!

I just traveled 6 hours from Oslo to Stockholm and it was one of the best trips with the train. The lakes and tiny red houses were all around, so I took hundreds of photos.

I’d love to take the sleeper train from Stockholm to Narvik. Waking up to snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, and the mountains of northern Scandinavia sounds incredible. It’s one of those trips that’s all about the scenery, not just the destination.

I would love to travel from Venezia to Bari to enjoy the stunning Adria with its enchanting variations of blue and discover the cultural backgrounds of these two so different but both so important cities!

I would take the sleeper from Milan to Palermo, enjoying the views of the Mediterranean after waking up in the morning, and experiencing the last passenger train ferry in Europe.

I would take the ÖBB night train from Berlin to Zurich. I study in Greifswald at the Baltic sea, which is only 3 hours from Berlin. Hoping on the night train, would mean I would cross half the continent in one night and wake up in a totally different landscape, trading the seaside for the mountains. Perfect for a student like me, where time and money is equally precious. 

Vienna to Split is high up on my bucket list: Leaving home in the evening and waking up by the sea to rediscover the places I drove to with my family every summer as a child.

I would love to take the Santa Claus Express from Helsinki to Lapland, watching the magical snowy landscapes from the window
