I’m about to play music aboard The Canadian across 4,000 km of rail, and I’d love to bring that same folk energy to the Highlands. There’s something magical bout playin’ guitar while the landscape shifts outside the window, the Caledonian Sleeper wd be the perfect place to continue that journey.

I would love to take the night train from Germany to Croatia. I think that’s a super nice route and I would love to explore the areas in Croatia and around it more and the perfect way to do it would be to travel while sleeping and then just waking up in a beautiful country.

I'd love to spend a night on the Santa Claus Express in Finland. Watching the northern landscapes pass by, travelling through the Arctic night and waking up in Lapland sounds like a truly unforgettable rail journey.

I would choose the ÖBB Nightjet from Vienna to Venice for the dreamlike experience of drifting off in the Alps and waking up gliding toward the Venetian lagoon. Watching the morning sun hit the water right from the comfort of a cozy sleeper cabin.

I would choose the Caledonian Sleeper since I want to travel around the Scottish Highlands and I have been curious about this train since I saw a TV show featuring it

I would like to start in Wien and go either to Amsterdam, to Zürich.

Or to go in direction of some scandinavian country, to cool down in the warm days.

I'd choose the Caledonian Sleeper to Fort William. My first Interrail trip was when I was 17, sleeping wherever I could and chasing the cheapest connections across Europe. I still remember waking up on an early morning train, forehead against the window, watching the landscape slowly change while everyone else was still asleep. That quiet moment made me fall in love with rail travel. Ever since, I've wanted to experience a true overnight journey where you fall asleep in one world and wake up in another. Waking up in the Scottish Highlands on the Caledonian Sleeper feels like the perfect way to relive that feeling.

I can’t wait for the direct night train from European Sleeper from Brussels to Barcelona to start running. The idea of getting on the train on a rainy evening in Brussels and arriving in the morning to sunny Barcelona and start exploring the city does sound very appealing 😉

I would choose the overnight Intercity Notte from Milan to Messina. It has always been a dream of mine to travel through the length of Italy and wake up as the train is carried across the Strait of Messina by ferry. It would be such a unique and unforgettable journey.

I would love to use the night train between Bucharest and Budapest.

One of my best friend (met in Erasmus) is from Bucharest and told me so much about her city and her country that I would love to visit it, and enjoy the travel to spend some times with her

I’d like to travel from the Netherlands (Amsterdam or Utrecht) down to Austria (Innsbruck or Salzburg). I really like catching a train right at the level of the sea and jumping off surrounded by the mountains where I can hike in the Autumn and ski in the Winter.

I would also like to travel from Helsinki up to Kolari in Winter to enjoy some cross country skiing.

Milan to Syracuse on the Intercity Notte, naturalmenteeeee

I’ve been completely hooked on night trains ever since my very first Interrail trip in 2022 (with the dreamy Stockholm to Boden route already checked off), and this Italian line has been at the top of my wishlist ever since.
The dream is to do it in the autumn (enjoying "l'été indien" without the crazy crowds. Start with an evening in Milan, the capital of fashion (yes, I just watched The Devil Wears Prada 2, sorry not sorry), then board the sleeper. The main event? Watching the train get loaded onto the ferry to cross the Strait of Messina, then waking up on the water while parked on deck. That’s just peak surreal magic.

Plus, you arrive in Syracuse just in time for lunch (i'm a little bit of a pasta girl ahaha).

The night jet from Zurich to Slovenia, because I've always wanted to explore eastern Europe!

I would love to take the train from Trondheim to Bodø. The thought of crossing the Arctic Circle at night and seeing either the midnight sun or the Northern Lights is very exciting to me.
