Finland, from Helsinki to Kemi, it would be  a repeat of a wonderful experience. The cabins are lovely, the view awesome (in summer :-)), the trains decorated with my favorite animal (owl) in my favorite color (green). Besides, I would like to go to Finland again, practice my Finnish and see more of the country.

Vienna - Amsterdam. I simply have to get the torn pancakes and coffee in Café Central again

I would love to go back to Scotland, combine Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a hiking trip.
Taking the Caledonian Sleeper is something I would very much like to experience.

Roma - Venezia

Because to travel in Italy by train is always a good decision, and these two cities are eternal and timeless beauties.

I’d choose the Caledonian Sleeper from London to the Scottish Highlands. Waking up surrounded by Scotland’s beautiful landscapes would be an unforgettable experience! UHHHGH just imagining it 😍😍😍

My dream night train journey would be taking the sleeper from Stockholm to Abisko. I’ve been lucky enough to visit many amazing places in Europe, but experiencing the Arctic is still high on my bucket list. I love the idea of spending the day exploring Stockholm, then climbing into a cozy sleeper cabin and falling asleep as the train heads north. I’d probably be peeking out the window in the middle of the night, hoping to catch the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. Even if I didn’t, waking up above the Arctic Circle surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Swedish Lapland would be an unforgettable experience—and exactly the kind of adventure Eurail is all about.

I would take the new European Sleeper from Cologne to Milano (starting in September), because I live in Germany and I love Italy, and Milano is a great city.

In June of 2021, shortly after the borders has been reopend inside Europe, I have  travelled with the FS Treno Notte from Milano to Brindisi, but taking the long route via Trento.

It was pretty awesome. The swinging traincar, which swings you slowly into sleep, the low noise of the AC-unit and the waking up in the middle of the night, watching outside the window and see the adriatic coast and the illuminated stations passing by, while everyone is asleep.

I would do it again anytime!

Istanbul to Sofia. An interesting, challenging journey on the edges of Europe.

I think the night train from Milano to Palermo would-be so cool because it is (to my knowledge) the longest night train in europe (22 hours) and it is the only train that stil go’s on a ferry. And

i might be crazy en enough to begin at my home town (Rhenen) to add 13 hours to make one of (to my knowledge ) the longest single travel day with a singel interrail day.
i might even invite a frend of mine to join me Becuse we already did a day of around 24 hours so i think this might be a fun thing to bragg about

Finland’s Santa Clause Express as we have always wanted to visit the northern lights but find travel options vexing. We love traveling in the winter due to the beauty of the season and the Santa Clause Express seems to fit our desires.

Having done Helsinki to Rovaniemi in daytime, I’d love to ride the sleeper, going to sleep after leaving the lights of that lovely city and waking up to a nature wonderland in the morning after a refreshing night’s sleep.

I would love to take the EuroNight Dacia (EN 347/346) from Vienna to Bucharest!! Seems like a wonderfully chill route.

I’d be traveling by train from Narvik to Stockholm, with a transfer in Boden. In the middle of winter! The landscape, the snow and the cold make this a really special experience. The light and shadows keep changing constantly, so the view from the train never gets boring for a second. As a bonus, you step off the train in Stockholm just after 9am. Perfect timing time for a warm cup of hot chocolate 😋

To me the most exciting idea I found here was Caledonian sleeper to The Scottish Highland.

Milan - Palermo InterCity 1963. Duration 20 hours 45 minutes. The train travels by ferry between Villa S. Giovani and Messina. An excellent experience. If you don't have an Interrail pass, you can buy a very cheap couchette pass.

I would love to do a long trip using night trains as my way to sleep and move and wake up every morning in a new location. Doesn’t matter where as long there’s a night train to the next stop.

Wow what a decision - I think at this present time I would love to go from Helsinki to Rovaniemi on the Santa Claus Express.  I had a pen friend when I was little and she came from Rovaniemi and I would love to meet up with her one day! oh and maybe pop in on Santa on the way!! :-)

I'd wish for babbly ride with my sisters and slightly delayed arrival to Sopot, Poland, with Baltic Express.

I would take the night train between Oslo and Trondheim to see the Northern Lights. My son told me they were great even though he is colour blind.

It’s off topic but my goal is (along with my family) to take the 4 day, 4 night, train across Canada when I retire in two years.
