Paris to Barcelona! My favorite trip!

My favorite train ride I ever experienced was the small tram-like train in Kyoto that goes from Demachiyanagi to Kibune. It takes you through a forrest and it looks like the train is floating through trees (almost like a scene from Spirited Away)

I would love to visit France once more and maybe Spain!!! Greetings from Greece ✌🏽

Last Christmas I did a train trip through Switzerland, and it was amazing-snowy mountains and beautiful views the whole way.

Next on my wishlist is travelling by train along the Mediterranean coast, just enjoying the scenery and stopping along the way.🌊🚂🌍

I’ve always dreamed of taking the train from Vienna to Venice. Watching the Alps roll by, crossing into Italy, and arriving straight into Venice by rail feels like the perfect slow travel experience—no rush, just changing landscapes and that sense of journey.

I loved the train ride from Gdansk to Prague. Almost 9 hours that flew by because i met the best people on the train and loved travelling across basically the whole length of Poland and seeing it all!

The Caledonian sleeper all the way up from London to Fort Williams, and then along the coastline with local trains.

Definitely my current wishlist journey is going from Zurich via Ljubljana and Belgrade down to Bar.
Fell in love with the Balkans and its amazing historical and poetic landscapes, the culture, the people, and, of course, all the varieties of Burek, and would love to experience it to its fullest while slowly taking a train through high peaks and down to the sea. :)

My favourite train journey was travelling on the slow train through Romania, smelling beer early in the morning, petting a dog and arriving late at night

Glasgow to Oban in the Highlands… The last train on a summers evening… One carriage, the sun setting, a glass of whiskey in hand, watching dear gamble over the line ahead. Heaven.

Hard to choose like the others already said cause there are just so many beautiful train rides in Europe! But one of my favorites, that I certainly won’t forget, is the Bergensbanen ride from Oslo to Bergen! Not a minute goes by without beautiful scenery! Lakes, waterfalls, beautiful huts, many different animals, I was sad when it was over!

I loved the time I went feom Stockholm to Narvik. The best train in that destination for me was Boden to Narvik. Unbelievable environment, even for me who already live in Sweden and am used to some beautiful places. But that train trip is really something else, recommend everyone!

My most memorable travel experience remains the Bucharest 🇷🇴 - Chisinau 🇲🇩 night train: a true journey back in time from the moment you step on board. Romania and Moldova are two magnificent countries I visited with Interrail. I eagerly await the day Moldova is included in the Interrail network. 🤞

In Europe, approaching Asia on the Bucharest-Istanbul sleeper is an exciting experience. The classic couchettes, the mountains of central Bulgaria… beautiful!

Globally, my 35-hour trip from Kunming to Beijing was a true test of endurance but a memorable one!

At least once a year you can find me on the train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Torino Porta Susa, my favourite gateway into Italy, although I just discovered the train line Marseille - Ventimiglia. A great way to start your trip. First a hike at the Calanques and then slowly moving along the Riviera di Ponente.

On my bucket list: taking the train from Thessaloniki to Athens, though ofcourse I need to get to Greece first. Let's make it happen! :-)
