My favourite Journey so far has been the Bernina Express. This summer I would like to try the direct coach from Bucharest to Istanbul.

If I had to choose a slow travel route, it would be the journey on the Doğu Ekspresi from Ankara to Kars :)

My favourite slow train travel route is definitely Bernina train in Switzerland. I took that train 4 times and it never disappointed. From the country where train work as a swiss clock .. to the palm tree and tasty pizza in Italy. This train brings you to both of these worlds :)

Love it!

I love to travel slowly between Budapest and Bucharest, but my favorite slow travel route is between Bucharest and Istanbul : a core memory !
I would love to discover the slow trains in the north of Europe, all over Scandinavia : maybe this summer !

I'd love to explore Scandinavia by train. In particular, I'm very interested in taking the sleeper from Stockholm to Narvik.

My favorite Interrail route would go from Oslo to Copenhagen, then on to Berlin, Prague, and Vienna, ending in the Alps near Salzburg or Lake Bled. I like it because it combines lively cities with beautiful nature, and the train rides, especially through Austria, are incredibly scenic.

The Portuguese coast is certainly on my wishlist ✨ from Porto to Lisbon

My dream journey right now is Zagreb to Split but also Rome to Palermo.

My favorite destination was Italy.

When I was 18 I had to opportunity to travel with EuroRail with my sister. We explored the whole country from north to south and gained valuable experiences.

I wish we could do the same again.

I loved the trip to Denmark, Sweden and Norway that I’ve done 4 years ago during the summer. Especially the stop in Myrdal during the train route from Oslo to Bergen and Flamsbana route will be something I’ll remember forever!

My favorite train journey was from Poland to Slovenia. Trains in Slovenia offer amazing views and I’ve never seen a country that beautiful. Next plan is to go from France to Slovakia by train to hike trough the Tatras and maybe cross the boarder to Poland to taste again their one litter beer ! 🍻

For me, it’s the route from Umeå to Narvik on the tracks of the Iron Ore trains. It’s a really long journey and the landscape changes only a little until you get to Abisko. Then the Scandies start and you see higher mountains, steeper cliffs and eventually, they open up into a fjord. But that’s not the end, as you find you when you try to put your head outside the window! A few tunnels leave you leaving your head inside the train before you finally arrive in Narvik, overlooking the European North Polar Sea.
