My favourite route is from Munich to Venezia. Scenery is changing on the way, especially when sun is shining on massive mountains.

My favourite train route is in the UK from Shrewsbury to Pwllheli. At first the route goes through the Welsh mountainous countryside, then it follows the Cambrian Coast from Machynlleth to Pwllheli.

For me it's definitely the Ligne de Cerdagne (the Yellow Train) through the Pyrenees! I took it with my friends a few years back during Interrail and it was stunning.

I think the Swiss narrow gauge railways are absolutely spectacular, but I also enjoyed exploring the Scottish Highlands very much. I went to every Scottish terminus station 😍 And I always appreciate the night train from Vienna to Romania, love waking up in the Romanian countryside and enjoying a few more hours riding to my destination.

My favourite journey would be Bucharest - Sofia - Skopje - Pristina. I would really love to discover this cities and countries !!!

Iwould like to indulge my inner child who never got to travel back then. I would relish this prize as.a miniature gap year and explore Norway, Starting from Bergen and up to Tromso, the Lofoten Islands and further north the Sami people and the reindeer.

My next trip is to travel most of the Scandanavia network on a 15-day/two month pass. My first leg is to go Oslo to Stavanger, sail to Bergen, then Bergen, Fåmm, Oslo. Then up to Bødo, Lofoten Islands, Narvik. Then onwards into Sweden, Finland and Denmark! The journey never ends! I cannot wait!

I dream of a train trip to Berlin through the path I used in 1989 through Belgium, because I'm very nostalgic.

This is such a tough question! But I have to say, the views I had on my first Interrail back in 2022 crossing from Munich through Innsbruck and to Verona, Italy simply took my breath away. Normally I'm busy reading a book or working from the trains but that time I was glued to the window! I took a million pictures on that trip but nothing could compare to the real thing. 🏔☀️🚅

My favourite slow train journey is the old EC-ride from Hamburg to Copenhagen. It takes about 5 hours but you can enjoy the nature of Northern Germany and Denmark, look at beautiful islands and impressive bridges and if you’re lucky, you even get some tourist info by one of the Danish staff.

Travel across the coast of Italy, France and Spain! Definitely on my wishlist of train travel routes. Take a bunch of stops along the way in beautiful coastal cities and/or towns and it would be amazing! :)

My favourite trip is the ski train from London to the French Alps. It is a great day and so much nicer than flying.

I took the train from Oslo to Bergen last summer. It was such an amazing experience : travelling around mountains and lakes during many hours and crossing by the higher station ♥♥

I’m new to train travel, but my absolute dream would be to travel through Switzerland via train! Ideally the Glacier Express or Bernina Express as I love being in nature and would love to see the mountains and lakes in Switzerland.

The slow train from Oslo to Bergen is unbelievable - it takes you high into snowy mountains with breathtaking views! My mum did it in her youth and I followed suit when I had the chance to play there as a violinist!

from munich to bologna, feeling like in a james bond movie

My favorite Interrail trip was one I made 2 years ago across Europe from Budapest to London. It was a 15-day trip touring large cities and small towns. An experience to repeat!

My favorite train journey which is in my wishlist is by Bernina Express, Switzerland to Italy

My favourite journeys include Copenhagen to Hamburg where the train goes on the ferry, Zagreb to Stuttgart through the mountains and tunnels and Montrose to Kyle of Lochalsh via Aberdeen and Inverness. I love these three trips because of the geographic and cultural changes you see out of the window as you slowly travel.
