Excited to be going on my next interrail trip starting 1st of May around Austria! Last year I had the most amazing experience on the Bernina Express during Autumn. The train ride i am most looking forward to next is getting the new night train from brussels - Barcelona in 2027, as a nervous flyer this new route will make a week or two exploring in Andalucia a dream!

I loved the train journey from Zurich to Innsbruck. Beautiful views throughout!

One of my favourite trips until now has been the Bernina Express in Switzerland. Amazing views and an incredible experience overall. I’m looking forward to setting off on another journey through Europe soon, and hope to discover some other parts of Switzerland on my way.

One of my favourite train rides is the West Highland Line from Glasgow to Mallaig - it offers such scenic views over the Highlands and I especially enjoyed the viaducts like the one in Glenfinnan. Also, the view on the morning when arriving with the night train from London is just breathtaking.

The Nice to Tende route through the French and Italian Alps. Start with views on the Mediterranean Sea, end in incredible mountains, through two international train stations and so many tunnels and gorges!

Have never been there, but an underrated part is between Septemvri and Dobrinishte. The train is going slow so you van enjoy the beautiful views of Bulgary. Hopefully i will be there soon!

I really enjoy the long train journey through Slovakia, passing rivers and hills, coming all the way under the country's mountains. The natural landscapes calm me down and inspire me in my artistic creation… I just enjoy it so much, a bit of boredom and looking out of the window.

I would like to discover the north of Italy and Switzerland by train! For the beautiful scenery and mountains.

My favourite route so far has been between La Spezia and Lucca, in the wonderful landscapes of Tuscany 🤩

I would say my favourite route is Bergen - Oslo, specially the first part of the journey, fjords, rivers, mountains... Can’t wait to go back.

I also love the slow Train Jaune. A beautiful and calm way to travel the pyrenees.

I’m about to embark on my third Interrail trip from the UK, but I think my favourite slow route so far has been in my own country. The Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh route is stunning. I was on it last summer (travelling from my home in Edinburgh, and changing at Inverness) and the sight of the setting sun over Plockton as I neared the end of my journey was something I’ll never forget..

I have always wanted to travel in Norway along the Oslo - Bergen. The sense of true wild that I imagine feeling in the lush woodlands and when swimming in the lakes has a mystical dreaminess in my imagination that I hope to one day live out!

i‘m looking forward to my journey from ljubljana back to munich. the route through the alps is absolutely breathtaking, i just stare out the window for hours, maybe listening to instrumental music and not even looking at my phone, there’s no network connection anyway.

My favourite train route has to be from my home town straight to Vienna (or even further to Budapest). Seeing the alps just never gets old. The train journey on the top of my bucket list has to be going from London to Istanbul one day

Next on my bucket list are definilety the trains in beautiful Scotland!

My favorite train journeys were two - one for emotions, the other for the view. So I'll start with the emotions, it was Vilnius-Zurich, because it's a long journey and the very beginning of all the adventures I've had, like an introduction to this world. And the view journey is probably Brig-Kandersteg, because so much of this journey remained in the memories in the photos, and the views looked like they were from a postcard, a real disconnection from reality.

My favorite slow travel route is from Marseilles all along the coast to Barcelona. You have to change once at the border but its beautiful.

My most favorite train route is from Badajoz, Spain to Entroncamento, Portugal. We have taken it many times, we call it the “funny train”. It is basically a locomotive with seats, and it travels quite slow. It is perfect for slowing down in life, and enjoying the beautiful landscape with the river Tagus views being my most favorite part.

In Poland from Warsaw to Elk, after not seeing my family for a while, the journey was exciting but super peaceful.

If I had to pick the ultimate slow travel experience for my next Interrail adventure, it would undoubtedly be a journey through the heart of Northern Italy and down to the sun-drenched coast of Sicily.

My favourite train route by far was along the cost south of France. Seeing the Ocean and then crossing over to Spain always amazes me and I get to see amazing Scenes as well as Wildlife!
