My favourite is the Journey between Oslo and Bergen. Next on my wishlist is going to Vienna, just because it's my favourite Billy Joel song...

My favourite rail journey so far has been London → Athens by rail (and ferry from Bari!) - all with Eurail tickets. I can't wait to go back to Türkiye too...

My favorite was a ride from Luxembourg to Rome. The adventure across many trains and landscapes were spectacular, but what made it most memorable was the lovely company of my cousins and mom.

One of my favourite slow travel memories has to be watching the landscape change mile by mile across Europe by train — there’s something special about seeing a country unfold rather than rushing through it.

Next on my wishlist would be a full rail journey around Italy. I’d love to start in Venice, gliding in by train over the lagoon, then make my way through Florence for the art and architecture, on to Rome for the history, and down to Naples for the food and vibrant atmosphere.

For me, slow travel is about the journey being just as memorable as the destination — watching vineyards roll past the window, stopping off in places I hadn’t planned, and really soaking up each region along the way. Italy feels perfect for that: rich in culture, connected by rail, and full of moments you’d miss if you rushed.

18 years old, I’m hoping to go on my first trip this summer! The train I’m most looking forward to is from Ljubljana to Florence, cutting through a part of the continent I’m yet to see. The though of these travels is all that’s getting me through my exams — Can’t wait to look out across an unfamiliar place and know I belong!

Taking the night train from Rome to Catania makes you wake up to a beautiful view on the volcano and includes a really cool ferry ride within the train. Would do that again in a heart beat ❤️

Hard to choose, of course. I’ve decided on the Arctic line from Narvik to Kiruna. Last year we took the replacement bus as there was work on the treck and I’d like to reviait the area and see it from the train (and hop out in Abisko and go for a hike).

Rome - Palermo: Train on a ferry!

My favourite journey so far was my road trip with my than 12 year old twins. We made a trip through France, Italy. On our way back we travelled from Milano to Luzern. A beautiful trip through the north of Italy, the lakes and thr southnof Switzerland. We will never forget!

My favourite train route is Domodossola- Locarno Centovalli (100 valleys) train that leaves the Italian border near the Alps, drive through the pitoresque Painters Valley (Val Vigezzo) and cross the Swiss border to reach Locarno on the Maggiore Lake.

I think that my favorite train route so far was the one from Malmo, Sweden, to Copenhagen, Denmark. This transition from over the water, to underwater left me speechless, not to mention the nice view of the sea while crossing the bridge. In the near future, I would definitely like to take the Bernina Express. I have seen so many photos and videos, and all the incredible alpine landscapes seem truly amazing!

Prag to Vienna, The very first time i was using my eurorail pass! I didn’t paid for a reservation fee, so I was lucky! I had to chance to see all the beautiful landscapes through Vienna.. The white houses and the beautiful nature that was hidden through the trip at the train!

I would love to use Interrail to show my girlfriend Poland and Slovakia, especially, as these are two countries I really want to discover more deeply with her. It would be even more meaningful for us because we actually met through Interrail. Travelling by train across Europe is therefore not only something I enjoy, but also something that is part of our story.

We loved traveling from Verona to Innsbruck, I think it is part of the Brenner Railway. The route crosses Italy and Austria and winds through valleys, past steep gorges and hilltop villages. We stayed in a very charming place called Mutters and saw Milka cows! And we heard their bells ringing.

From Vienna to Hamburg, copenhagen, Stockholm, luleå to kiruna in order to watch the northern lights. Unforgetable trip by train this year in march.

I loved the train ride to Sicily because it was such a unique experience with the train going right onto the ferry 😍

Would love to travel through Switzerland to Austria via Lichtenstein. Then return to the UK via Germany

I loved travelling by train around Ireland, but a route I’d love to do is Budapest to Ljubjana!

I had to suddenly cut my Interrail journey short by a week this year and missed my planned journey from Bucharest to Cisinau in Moldova. That is top of my list for another time.

Did a trip from the french alps to copenhagen last year which was fun, lots of changes and missed trains to get to Hamburg then scenic ride up to copenhangen. I am getting the sleeper from Paris to Cerbere this summer which i’m looking forward to, first proper overnight train and then get to do some local spanish trains down the coast on the other side.

My favorite rail tracks are the Scandinavian ones and I love especially Norway and Sweden. On my bucket list is a train ride from Vienna to Lagos/Portugal which will surely take some time! Also I would like to go from Vienna to Palermo but using only regional trains with lots of stops for changing trains in-between.

Cheers to all!
