My favorite is the Glacier Express because of its slow, panoramic ride through the Alps

I want to go from Hamburg to Stockholm, to see the danish and swedish landscape by slow trains.

My favourite train route is from Milan to Naples with fast train Frecciarossa. In few hours you get from vibrant Milan and mountains nearby to lively Naples with majestic Vesuv and historical site Herculaneum.

It’s so difficult to choose, I loved the scenery travelling through Slovenia, the long trip from Stockholm up to Abisko was amazing, and a train trip through the Alps can never be overlooked, but I would have to say that my favourite trip is always the next one.

I would like to go to the provence this year. I want to go on my own. I've never really solo travelled before and I would really like to do it. I heard it's very beautiful there. I've been to France a lot, so I know it a bit and also speak the language a little. So it seems ideal to go there for my first solo trip.

This year in July, I’m planning to go on my very first Interrail trip with my sister. We will be travelling through Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, and Vienna.

I’m especially excited because it will be my first time experiencing slow travel by train across different countries. I’m really looking forward to discovering new cities, enjoying the journey itself, and sharing this adventure with my sister. It feels like the perfect mix of freedom, exploration, and quality time together.

I can’t wait for this trip to become an unforgettable memory.

My favorite slow travel route was Porto to Vigo with a lot of coastal views outside the windows and sun in my face while reading my favorite book.

Next on my wishlist: I have never been to Croatias sea side and I would love to travel there by train since I traveled to Slovenia by train (&bus) which was so much fun and I had the best time there, meeting the kindest people on the way.

Hope you keep on having fun exploring!

I loved the route from Wörgl to Innsbruck, but all routes in western Austria are amazing, the views at the mountains are gorgeous!!

Dreaming about a slow travel through Switzerland and a direct train Sweden-France!

My favourite Interrail slow travel route would be the Bernina Express from Switzerland to Italy. The scenery looks unreal with mountains, lakes and bridges, and I love that the journey itself feels like part of the trip rather than just travel.

My favourite train ride is a mixture of slowness and gorgeous landscapes connecting two countries: the Domodossola (Italy) to Locarno (Switzerland) railway line, that goes through the Italian Vigezzo Valley and the Swiss Centovalli (literally Hundred Valleys). A delight every season, both ways.

My favorite train ride was from Marseille to Nice. I was sitting next to an older french lady and we both admired the beautiful sea side next to us. The French Riviera was an absolute dream!!!🚅🌞

The train I’d most like to go on is the narrow gauge railway line between Ferrol and Oviedo in the north of Spain, a journey of seven and a half hours with views of the sea, valleys, and mountains of Galicia and Asturias.

Something about the remoteness of the line, the villages it passes through, and the landscape appeals to me.

I’ve enjoyed many journeys during my Interrail trips, but the best ones are those where a spontaneous and friendly conversation arises with your fellow travelers.

Von München nach Rom mit dem Nachtzug zum Fußballspiel meines Lieblingsclubs. Das war ein tolles Erlebnis!

I really enjoy the route from London to Amsterdam (Eurostar) and then the ICE to Berlin, though I usually get off in Hannover. I’d love to get a stopover in Amsterdam and one in Amersfort scheduled. There’s always something to see, last time quite a few storks on the fields as well as all the sheep, horses, cattle and swans on the Dutch canals. Not a spectacular but a lovely and calming route. I do love the tree-lined roads and the timber framed buildings along the way.

Favourite journey so far is definitely from Italy through the Austrian mountains - straight out of a fairy tale! Closely followed by the stunning lakes and tiny red huts scattered throughout Sweden :)

My favourite train routes so far have been Stockholm - Narvik (the Norwegian wilderness and nature we're very impressive).

I'm looking forward to travel on the train routes of Northern Great Britain, especially of Scotland this summer. Therefore I would really love to win a new lecture and - of course - one Interrail pass.

This Train Journey in Canada from Vancouver to Jasper was absolutely stunning. Met incredible people aboard and just gazed out into the beautiful nature for hours on end...

The frequent itinerary I appreciate the most is along Liguria coast in Italy, close to where I was born. While the one I dreamed of for years and came true was from Yorkshire to Scotland - as well as Oslo-Bergen, but in a night ride with no view 😅

In my travel wishlist I have taking my baby boy with me to Scotland by train.
