Can I use one Global Pass for two trips?

My husband and I want to travel to Italy with our baby. We saw the Global Pass for 4 travel days within 6 months. But we actually just need 2 travel days (from Germany to Italy, and a week later from Italy back to Germany). Can we use the remaining 2 days for a second trip to Italy if we stay within the 6 months? Like do the same trip again a few months later?

Thank you!

Yes that is how you would need to do it.

Or maybe there is a way for you to travel only a short distance inside Germany (for which you’d have to pay) and take a slight detour through a neighbouring country (France for example). I imagine this could work quite well if you are close to Saarbrücken for example.

If you want us to look closer into this and suggest “workarounds”, then please give us your route and travel dates.

There is no pass for 4 days within 2 months, you have got that wrong, it is 4 in 1 month.

You also have a limit of 2 days use within your home country on each pass.

Screenshot 4 days within 6 months

Thank you! I am still in the booking process, it says 4 days within 6 months. It’s weird though, I can’t find it anymore if I search for it. But it was definitely there a few hours ago, and also yesterday when I looked for the first time.

So this means I absolutely can’t make two trips to Italy, right? Is there a workaround? I guess we could pay for a ticket to the nearest station after the German border.

It might have been corrected. I see the correct text, also in German instead of in English:

Although you seem to have taken your screenshot before the current sales started, since it doesn't say "Promo”. Is that correct?

There was already some ad for the promo on the top of the page, but yes my ticket doesn’t say Promo. I wonder if I’ll still get the 6 months if I go through with buying it.

I did this a few hours ago but kept clicking things so the process wouldn’t reset.

Edit: I just paid, we’ll see.
