Seat Reservation Strasbourg to Paris - the time keeps switching when booking?

Michael Johnson

We purchased EURail Passes and went online to purchase our seat reservations for our Train from Strasbourg to Paris.  We click on the train we want that departs at 8:19 the next screen shows a departure time 12:19 with a different train.  When I enter information each step the time switches between 8:19 and 12:19 with the final screen where you purchase showing 12:19.  Why does the time and train switch back and forth.  I tried different times and it seems to do the same thing with all the times.

We live on the east coast of North Carolina and do not know if the time difference is an issue.

Any help that can be provided is appreciated.

The advice from the experienced travellers in the community is to use other ways to make reservations than the Interrail/Eurail website. You can look at the guide in the link:

https://community.eurail.com/train-connections-reservations-47/how-to-get-reservations-105

If you, after having looked at the guide, have questions about how to make specific reservation, please give your travel details (departure date, time and route) preferably in a new topic, and you will get advice. .

Yes-US and you are in USA? THis rather annoying and cumbersome feature has been reported there quite a few times-also from Asians-the ´system´'kind of automatic translated the times into EUR times, 4/5 hr difference. This also often leads to births days being 1 day ahead/after-so do not do that till In EUR here. So your assumption is wrong.

Thus-and thats best too: use other means to REServe-s listed by seewulf-often easier as app and saves money too. In this case-call SNCF-online can do via b-rail, but that needs pss cover nr (is on paper passes)-will take quite some time to get.

Hello, we're so sorry about this inconvenience. The best workaround for this issue at the moment is either to change your device's timezone settings to CET while reserving, or indeed, to try an alternative reservation methods in the post mentioned by @AnnaB
