There’s going to be 2 of us travelling toghether and we want to book seats from the “Rail Planner” App. The thing is that we have added two passes to the same device, but they are on different journeys. So when we make the seat reservation there is no record that there are two people and only one seat is reserved. How can we book both seats at the same time through the application?

That is not possible. The app can only forward to some of the websites where you can book, including the Interrail website, which should however be the last choice to book because of it's often higher prices and technical problems. See below.

Pass and reservations are completely separate. For making reservations, it does not matter on which devices the passes are. You can even book most reservation without having a pass.
