My two friends and I just bought global passes but when we went to make seat reservations, none were available. London to Paris, Paris to Nice, Barcelona to Madrid, Naples to Rome. We already paid for the passes but can’t even use them. Is there another way to make reservations using the pass? If not we will get a 100% refund, since we had no way of knowing these tickets would be sold out right?

The advice from the experienced travellers in the community is to use other ways to make reservations than the Interrail/Eurail website. You can look at the guide in the link:

If you, after having looked at the guide, have questions about how to make specific reservation, please create a new topic with your travel details (departure date, time and route) and you will get advice.
Again the tipical newbees who chose exactly the hardest and most difficult routes and did not bother to spend a minute more to read. Be original and change routing.
But: there are other ways to make REServ, though it may need calling an office or so. Find the overveiw by seewulf on howtodoit. It all depends on country.
One can always use the passes by using other, slower, regional trains without even possibility or need to REServe. can even set app to ´only non-reserv trains´ -just see what it delivers.
