Metro is never included.
Calella is on line R1 of the Rodalies (suburban and regional trains in Catalonia) and is operated by Renfe so your pass is valid.

Some stations have gates and you may need to ask staff to open them.
In and around Barcelona, Renfe operates R1, R2, R3, R4, R7 and R8. Other (sub)urban lines are not operated by Renfe. See the map here:

Just want to add :
- the direct Paris - Barcelona TGV has a 37€ booking fee. If you want to take this train book it ASAP as some dates in July and August are already sold out
