Anyone else being barred from adding passes to your account, so you can make reservations, by a message to update the app. But when you do, you have the latest version of the app? Can’t see a way out of this? Anyone else manage to break this unhelpful loop?

There seems to be a bug in the app, as someone else just posted a similar issue:
If you’re not travelling soon, however, there’s no need to add the pass to the app yet, and I’m pretty sure this bug will be fixed soon. Seat reservations are never made from the app, but either from the portal or from one of the many other options listed in the following post.
It is actually recommended not to activate the pass until shortly before your trip, as you might inadvertendly not deactivate it before the travel day and then there is no way to postpone its validity.
