I need to Travel from Paris to London via Eurostar on Apr 24, 2022, with Eurail Global Pass, and need to book seat reservation, but it is not available at Eurail.com. Where I can buy the seat reservation? Please help me. Thanks!
HelloFirst of all I would like to know if there is a phone server. 1. How can we know that the reservation has been validated? Is it when the seat reservation fee has been paid, or just when the trip has been entered in the application and in the pass?2. When do I have to pay to reserve the seats?3. And once paid, is it modifiable and/or cancellable?4. I have seen that on your site for seat reservations, for some routes it is impossible to reserve (e.g. for Spain, or when there is an error message "No fare has been found for this connection. Please perform a new search or find another reservation method"). What should I do in this case?5. Also, sometimes it says "Seat availability unknown", what does this mean?6. How can I get two passengers to sit next to each other on the train, knowing that both passes are registered on the app on two different phones? Thank you in advance.
Hi,I bought a global pass and did a reservation from Paris/FR > London/EN on the website Eurail on June 1st but I couldn't get the extension of my vacation to use it.That said, I need to get the refund or exchange of this seat reservation for another trip that I shall do at the end of the year.Is that possible?
So I want to get from Tallinn to Riga, and I read that first one has to take a train from Tallinn to Valga at the Estonian border and then a train from Valga to Riga. However none of these train stations show up in the rail planner app. I have the Interrail mobile pass so I need to add eagh journey to my ticket in the app, right?
Hello, I have a problem because I really need to do some reservations for next week, but the reservation tool on the website doesn't work and I can't do it in the app as well. And I can't do it on any other website nor will I have the time to buy it at the station. The website just does not load or closes itself again and again when I try to write the directions. I have only 10 or 15 minutes for the connections, so I am worried to not have enough time. If someone here knows these routes and stations, could you tell me if I will have enough time ? Here is the detail : 10 mins for the connection in Stuttgart, 16mins in Munich, and 10 mins in Schwandorf.
Hello! I have an eurail pass for my family of 6 and now in the process of making the seat reservations required. I am having trouble booking the train from Torino to Roma Tiburtina (FR 9583) on August 15 2022. There is a “Prices temporarily unavailable” message and I can not make my reservation. What does it mean? Is it sold out? Is it too early? What can I do in this particular case?.The same happens in alternative routes for this day, and in most of our 5 days of plan trips during 1 month. Hi All, I am travelling in Italy at the end of this month. I am currently planning my journey on the Eurail app. I have a mobile pass.I have saved a journey to My Trip with a 10 Eur Seat Reservation charge.How is this charge paid?There is no option on the App to pay.Under “More’ you can select ‘Seat Reservations’ then select ‘Italy’ and it says ‘Book at major train stations – At a ticket office or self-service machine’Does this mean the reservation fee is paid at the station on the day? thanks,
Since 1-2 years it’s no longer possible to make online seat reservations for the Eurocity train connecting Milano Centrale (Italy) and Basel SBB (Switzerland).I called both the Italian and Swiss operator to ask if it is possible to make a reservation on the phone. This was not possible. They also told me that it is not possible to make a seat reservation at the station.Based on what they told me, the Global Pass turns out to be useless for the EC trains. Only option is taking multiple (often delayed) regional trains.Does anyone have the same experience?
Hello!!I have bought an Interrail Pass and now I’m checking which of the trains require seat reservations.For many of them, I cannot purchase this via the eurail website. In this case, do I have to purchase the individual train tickets (on different websites) as if I don’t have an Interrail pass?What if I wait to buy my seat on the day right before departure? Hi!i am travelling from Paris to pula using a eurail pass leaving tomorrow, and the only seat reservation I have been able to make is for the first train, Paris to muenchen. For the others is gives me an error message saying seats cannot be reserved online less than six days before departure because they only offer paper tickets, and to try at a train station. I went to a station in Paris but they said they can’t do it there and I will have to make my reservations in the country of travel. But my connections in between trains are only 8 minutes so I feel like that’s barely enough time to get to my train, let alone make a reservation? I’ve tried to contact many customer service options but never hear back, thank you so much!!!!!
Hello.I’m traveling through Europe and Italy is one of my destinations. I’m vaccinated but the one that I have is not official in EU. Also is impossible to get the Green Pass here in my country. I have an international vaccine card, but I don’t know if it will allow me to enter every train. Is something related to COVID needed in order to enter the trains or I just have to show my Eurail Pass?thanks for your time.

Hello all,my name is Ronald, from the Netherlands.Yesterday I bought a digital Interrail pass for 3 months, and I'm actually busy planning the 1st (outbound) train trip to the south of France, for which I need a seat reservation for a train from Paris Montparnasse to Pau, on the 10th of juni (18.11 - 22.26 hrs).However, while trying to obtain this reservation, the interrail system keeps on telling me that ‘prices are temporarily unavailable’.Alternative solutions proposed by Interrail:(1) booking a reservation via travel.b-europe. This does not work, as I am obliged to fill in a ‘pass cover number’ which apparently only paper passes seem to have; I have a digital pass.(2) buy a ticket at the concerning train station on moment of arrival ; In my opinion this is way to risky to try to get a ticket this late in timeSo my question is: is there another solution for a digital passholder to obtain this reservation?? Hi!I'm planning a trip to Spain and Portugal with interrail in July/August. I saw as answer to another question that there are currently no trains between Lisbon and Madrid. Does anyone know why and how long that's gonna be (if it's still the case in July/August). That would be super helpful, thanks!Julia
Everything about the Interail pass has been smooth except my ability to book a Eurostar seat from London to Brussels when having selected a mobile pass.The only way I could possibly see to book a seat was to say I had a paper ticket and as a result I have made a booking BUT the money has not been taken from my account although I do have access to two PDFS showing the “booking” although I have NOT had confirmation by e mail of my reservations ?The ability to contact anyone to ask appears impossible so at the moment I am due to travel on the 19th April and I have no idea if i have a booking or not ?Do I need to change my mobile pass for a paper pass in order to board the train ?? Again no help anywhere?When does my money go through and I have a confirmation?Would I be refused at the gate with a seat reservation and only a mobile pass?Hope someone can help me as its extremely frustrating.
I just bought a Eurail 15 days in 2 months Pass and was trying to book seat reservations. I will be arriving in Paris on May 31st and my first train is on June 1st from paris to Lyon, which is why I really want to book my reservations online, not in person.I have tried multiple times, and many different routes, but I keep getting the same error message. It says: “please find an alternate connection, the unavailable leg will be removed from your cart”. This message pops up no matter the route or time I try.I also tried to book through the travel.b.europe website, however, I need a pass cover number for that, and I have a digital pass. I do not want to risk booking the ticket the day of arrival so I don’t know how this can be fixed. Hey there,I'm planning on doing an Interrail trip to Denmark and Norway in september. First to Copenhagen and take the ferry to Oslo after.Now I wanted to take return trains to Bergen and back to Oslo and wanted to book some seat reservations for them. And while it's possible to do this through the interrail website (unfortunately not for the trains I want to take in sep cause they're not listed at the interrail reservations site, but according to vy.no they are indeed defenitely scheduled) I have a 1st class pass and I read I should make a reservation for a Pluss seat. But the interrail website only sells 2nd class seat reservations. So I figured I should make seat reservations by calling the Entur agency? But my question is how much will it cost to book a Pluss seat through this agency? And is there any way else to make a reservation? Online perhaps? I also read it's possible to book your seats at the station in Norway and for no extra cost even, but I don't know if the train I want

Hello everyone, I am trying to reserve a seat on the train leaving HANNOVER HBF on the 18th of April at 14:40 for AMSTERDAM CENTRAAL at 19:00. Whenever I try to reserve seats I get an error stating “Please try to find an alternate connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart.”On EUrail websiteBut the thing is, when I look on the DB website, there is availability on that train and I can even book seat reservations. I have also tried to mobile eurail website on my phone, but I can’t even add the seats to my cart on there. I’m not sure what’s going on, because I was able to reserve seats on a train from Amsterdam to Paris with no issues.Someone please help, I would like to hold the seat reservation in my EUrail account for simplicity when traveling.
I bought a Global Pass, then choose the Mobile option instead of the “paper” one. Then, I also bought seat reservations. After that, in the Rail Planner app I added and activated the pass. Now, I am trying to link the seat reservations I bought to the Pass in the Rail Planner app. Any luck yet.What I am trying to avoid is to print all the seat reservations, that is why I originally decided to use the Mobile app. Is the a way to do this?
Good afternoon! Me and my friends are planning a trip from Amsterdam to Thessaloniki for the coming April. We wanted to travel via Munich, Budapest and Belgrade. Up until Budapest, we can plan our trip via this website. However, when we want to check for trains from Budapest to either Belgrade or Thessaloniki, nothing comes up on the travel planner.Neither do I see Serbia in the list of exceptions on the website.I was therefore wondering whether there is any reason why we cannot find trains (in April) from Budapest to either Belgrade or Thessaloniki.Thank you in advance.
I want to book a paper ticket from Valence TGV to Barcelona on 21st of August. If I want to try it, I receive a notification that the ticket will not arrive in time and that I have to go to an European train station. I went to Amsterdam Centraal and they said at the international office that they do not sell tickets from France to Spain. I've added the notification in Dutch below. How can I still make the reservation for this trip? Interesting to note is that I ordered another paper ticket and I received this within a week. So if this is the average speed of the delivery of the paper tickets, my ticket would still be arriving in time before I will leave… However, the website does not allow me to take the risk and order the paper ticket anyway.
