Once a trip is booked ( on the eurorail pass )what is the way you can adjust the booking if something changes our schedule like a plane time change or other possible delays that could keep us from making the time that the original booking was made. If we miss the booked time ( on our eurorail pass ) due to some unforeseen issue do we reschedule the trip without cost? Can we decide to get off the train before the destination chosen and then get back on another train later to complete the journey or do we need to book another trip for the second part of the trip?

Boarding at next station - Can I board at Florence instead of Rome? - Trenitalia FRECCIAROSSA
Hello Eurail Experts,I am planning to travel from Rome to Venice. I already reserved the seats for Rome to Venice. As a plan B, I would like to visit Pisa and board the same train from Florance. Is this allowed in Trenitalia FRECCIAROSSA. Will my seat reservations still valid if I board at Florence instead of Rome? Thanks in advance!
Making a reservation for the Riviera Sleeper (summer 2023)
Hi everybody! I’m new to the community and planning my first solo Interrail to the UK this summer. I would like to include a trip with the Riviera Sleeper from London to Penzance in my trip. So far I’m finding it hard to find concrete information about making reservations on this train. My research shows that you can only book from 12 weeks in advance. Does anyone know if this is true? I would hate to miss a reservation by being ‘too late’. Also, it is not clear to me whether you can make that reservation from abroad (I live in Belgium). Has anyone tried this recently? What is the best way? As a millennial with severe phone anxiety, I would prefer to settle this online if possible…And last but not least: can anybody tell me the costs of this reservation? I know a seat is 6 euro, but I would like to know the prices of the cabins to decide whether it’s worth the price. I can’t seem to find a conclusive answer anywhere. So, to summarise: all Riviera Sleeper tips & tricks are welcome!Tha
Making GWR Riviera Night Sleeper reservations from abroad
Hello everyone,So, I’m having great trouble reserving a sleeper cabin on the GWR Night Riviera Sleeper. From the GWR website the reservation with an interrail ticket can’t be made. I called them up and they said that by phone they won’t book them anymore either (apparently this has been like this since a few months - they had trouble with mismatching passes). The main SBB station in Berne can’t book reservations anymore for most train companies in the UK either and the interrail website, when working, tells me that it can’t be booked through them either. On the phone GWR advised me to book directly from a station in the UK, however I fear that by the time I’m there there likely won’t be a cabin anymore.I believe it might be possible to have a friend in the UK book the reservation for me, but surely there must be some way that it can be done from abroad? Would it be possible to buy a regular ticket and have the ticket fee reimbursed?I’m sure someone has done similar and I hope there is a
This area of Sweden is difficult to navigate (travelling from Finland to Sweden April 2023)I can’t find train times in Rail Planner app, only in Norrtåg timetableshttps://www.norrtag.se/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Tidtabell_Lulea-Boden-Haparanda_Norrtag_Vinter-22-23.pdfHow come they are not in Rail Planner?BW, Nanna
Cannot get seat reservation for Rotterdam - Antwerp Sat 22 April
Trying to book the ‘reservation needed’ leg (Rotterdam to Antwerp 9.58 train Sat 22 April 2023) of my Leiden to Bruges journey. Eurail site says no reservations available and can’t get any further with later trains (won’t go to ‘Make Reservation’ option). Tried direct with Thalys, but they are not showing the 9.58 or indeed any other departures at all. Are there alternative ways of finding out if indeed reservations are all taken, and what the alternative options might be? I’m a newbie (last interrailed in 1974) so just trying to work out the system… Thank you.
Paris to Geneva
I bought 4 days eurail pass and this is my first trip to Europe. When I am trying to reserve seat from Paris to Geneva, it says around £102 for 2 kids and 2 adults. But if I check other website then tickets are cheaper for same route and same train. What is the benefit of eurail pass if reservation takes more money than normal ticket.
Booking on the trainline itself
Does it matter that I can’t book on the Eurail pass site and therefore can’t see the trips on my pass app? Both times I have booked a night train. The first from Berlin to Budapest we had to have a seat reservation and booked it through OBB using our pass details. Then the second, from Amsterdam to Zurich, showed it was available and included but wouldn’t let me choose it to make the seat reservation that was recommended - ie my cart was empty. So I have also booked on OBB. Just wondering if it matters that I can’t book them on my pass. Or if I am doing something wrong/not seeing something obvious in the process. Thanks, any help appreciated!
Global Pass - MobileApp 2 travellers - need to share Double on night train.
Hi...Thanks for reading….So here is the core of my question.Myself (M) and a friend (F) may travel together this summer. Each of us if I am correct will buy their own Global Pass. And if i understand this correctly...we can add their ticket to our pass pretty easily. However, there are times where we will want to share a double on the night train. Which means we need to book the double at the same time for 2 different people. (two different Global Pass numbers). How is this arranged in the mobile app? Is it even possible? What does one do if we both want to be in the same night cabin, but are starting out with 2 different Global Passes? Thanks -paul
Train lines to say smaller towns
I am looking at the map of eurail routes and need to know if there is a short route from Faro, Portugal to Sevilla, Spain. I don't see one on the map but these cities are so close! We want to visit both and in order to get to faro to Sevilla it would be a very long journey back to Lisbon, Madrid, and then Sevilla.Or we have to rent a car which would be fine but to rent a car in one country and leave it in another is very expensive. Does anyone have experience with traveling between these smaller cities? And what might be the best practice?
eurail from Amsterdam
Hi! In mei wss.Maar ik zie op de website dat je maar één keer het land uit en in mag rijden. Hoe werkt dat in de praktijk?
