Hello,My wife and I are coming to Zurich on January 17th 2025 and our return will be from Bergamo on January 20th. The main purpose of the trip is this; to take the Bernina Express. İf possible, I want to see the glacier express route. My plan is to go to as many places as I can by train with short breaks. We want to spend the rest of our time on an Alpine trip as much as possible, it doesn't matter on the Swiss or Italian side.  I would like to get your suggestions about train travel, tickets and places to visit and stay. There are so many people in this community who want to help and that's gratifying.

On final day of my next trip, planning to get from Frankfurt via Brussels-Eurostar to St Pancras (dep 08.16 - arr 13.57). All fine and dandy. Then have to head north. It occurs to me The Caledonian Express leaves Euston at 23.45 and I can get home via Edinburgh under own steam. If I get the McSleeper at that time, does that count as same travel day or does the time difference given day starts in Frankfurt mess things up. And is it still good as an “inbound journey” for getting back home? It wouldn’t be past the validity of the pass and not its final travel day either.

Hi, I’m trying to book seats for a few different routes within Europe for December. I am not finding the schedule on Eurail beyond the 15th Dec., So I went onto the actual Train Operators sight to book the seats. They allow you to book seats only, but the cost is ridiculously high considering I have a first-class pass. Question 1) Can I book seats on the actual train operators’ website?Question 2) Can you do this (q1) using your passQuestion 3) Can you add these bookings to the eurail app? Or do you have an alternative recommendation, we are a group of 9, so don’t want to miss out on train reservations. Hi, I already used my 10 day travel of my pass but i need to get back home. But won’t be a problem bc i’ts a day time train and I’m coming back to my country of residence with the inbound trip. Hey everyone!I'm currently studying abroad in Norway and am planning an Interrail trip back to Germany with a friend after our exams. Here's our planned route:Trondheim to Oslo – We’ll stay in Oslo for a couple of days. Oslo to Stockholm - We’ll stay over Christmas Stockholm to Copenhagen - Staying for one or two days Copenhagen to Munich – We’ll change trains in Hamburg on the way.We’ve read on the Erasmus Interrail website that the pass includes one outbound journey from your home country and one return journey back to your home country without counting these as travel days. Does this mean our leg from Hamburg to Munich would also be covered as part of our inbound journey to Germany, even though we need to change trains in Hamburg?We’re considering buying the 4-day Interrail pass, as we technically only have 4 main travel days. I was wondering when the planner will be updated for Monday 16th December and beyond.  Certainly from my own researching, schedules for Britain, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland are all available.  (I am sure the same is true for many more countries as well but I haven’t investigated these.)It’s not a big deal for me.  Using national train websites I know which trains I will be taking over the Christmas period, and I have booked up all the required seat reservations that I require through Rail Europe.  It just would be nice to get things put into “My Trip”Peter

I purchased an  Eurail Pass on Eurail official website and chosen English as the display language as always.However, the confirmation email sent to me is in Chinese. I logged into my account tried to generate a new one. All the same -  both the Payment confirmation and the Pass confirmation email are issued in Chinese? I tried to on different divides - nothing helps.Does anyone there know how can I change them into English?Thank you!

I don’t have a lot of time and I would like to visiti in three weeks just Spain and Portugal, and I noticed that the trains to go there are more expensive than a plane (around 20/30 euro). I have my rail pass and I purchased seat reservations and the supplement is included.  To use the pass I am trying to add my journey to the pass on the app.  The journey says seat reservation and supplement required and does not add. The toggle in my trip is grayed out. Can I just select use travel day and board with my seat assignment ticket that I printed?
