I am travelling in Norway with Eurail pass in late July and August. I want to make a reservation for the train from Voss to Bergen on July 29 and from Trondheim to Oslo on Aug. 11. The Rail Planner tells me there are not trains available for these trips. I saw something about replacement buses -- are there buses for these trips? Do I need to make reservations for the buses? Also, does my eurail pass cover these replacement buses? I have tried calling Entur but I wait on hold for long periods and then the line goes dead.
Dear all,For our trip Brussels Malaga with 2 children and 2 adults we have managed to book all seat reservations now, however we had to use all different channels (DB Reiseservice, sncf hotline, our extended family in Spain going to the train station…). Thanks for all the super advice already here on the community which helped a lot.I still have one issue though as the reservation done through sncf have spelling mistakes (f instead of s 2x in my family name and the one of the kids). Basically one could still deduct that it’s us, but it’s not the same. Does anybody have a recent experience whether this is being controlled? Shall I contact sncf to cancel and re-issue? bests,Elisabeth
I am very confused about Eurail….So in my travel from France to Italy ...the first leg says no reservation needed….then the middle leg needs a seat (so I reserved and paid for one) and then the last leg said the pass seats were gone so I went to Italian rail line and paid for the full price seat.But….what about that first leg?? I have no reservation..it’s not even possible...so what if I show up there and can’t get on the train because it’s full….then the seats go to waste that I’ve paid for for the 2nd and 3rd leg??? :(I feel like even if the seat is free we should have a way to hold a spot or something? Am I missing something??
Hi,I am doing an interrail with my friend. We have bought passes and we want to go from Paris to Nice. We cant make seat reservations for the train? Can we still travel on that train with our passes without seat reservations or can we make them there in the train?Thank you in advance!Heikki H
My outbound trip (Amsterdam NL - Bern Switzerland) leaves in the evening after 20.00. In My Trip the app gives the trip to Basel seperately from Basel - Bern. I can switch the part Amsterdam - Basel to count as a travel day. When I add the part Basel - Bern the app counts another day, That is not what I want. How do I solve this?
Hello,I’d like to ask how do I get through station gatelines in the UK with an Interrail mobile pass? I’ve heard that I would need to scan a barcode on a scanner, but last time I visited UK, I went to many stations and I don’t remember there being any scanners, only a hole for a paper ticket. Maybe I remember incorrectly? Also I don’t think all the stations have an attendant that I could ask for help.
For those of you travelling in England, the Eurail pass works on most BritRail lines (including the ThamesLink and the new Elizabeth Line). It does NOT work on the Heathrow Express, despite what’s on the Eurail information. However, the good news is that, with the new Elizabeth line in London, you don’t need the Heathrow Express. The Elizabeth line trains run from Paddington Station to Heathrow often (I think about every 20 minutes) and are wonderful I just travelled from Brighton (on the Thameslink) to Heathrow in a little over 2 ½ hours. For some reason, the Eurail QR code doesn’t work on any of the BritRail scanners, but just go to one of the wonderful station workers and they’ll get you through.
Hello, I purchased my paper pass last month, I was due to start on the 4/07/22 for a month. Due to certain circumstances I am now starting a week later, On the ticket itself it says valid from 4/07/22 - 3/08/22. Will I now miss out on week of the pass when i start on the 11/07/22 ? TIA
Hi ive brought a Swiss pass for 3 travel days. I've been using the app to puy in rough train times I think we may get.Just wanted to know that really of we don't use these trains it doesn't matter, assuming you can travel any and as many in that day as you need ( unless not in network) I think it just co fused me as wouldn't let me add numerous times around the same time ( as obvs not sure which train time we will get yet) and thr app wants me to put all my destinations in which made me worryHave tried emailing to check but no response Never used interrail before Thanks
First and foremost, I am aware that Reservations are not included with the Pass. The question is, what benefits of having the Eurail Global Pass if 4 out of the 5 cities I am traveling to needs reservations?I’m traveling from Zurich to ParisParis to BrusselsBrussels to LondonLondon to Amsterdamand lastly, Amsterdam to Berlin.Suggestions and tips on how I can go about this will be highly appreciated. I’m trying to book reservations on this site for high speed trains between multiple Italian cities for late September and early October but I don’t see the high speed trains listed on this site. I can see them on other sites. Why can’t I book them here? Thank you in advance for your help.
I can’t book my reservations on the train I want. When I have filled in all the information and want to go to the next step after filling in where I was born, the page does not work. I get a exclamation mark in the middle of the page, or the page does not respond in any way. I have tested refreshing the page, do the reservations again both in my computer and my mobile.
I want to book seat reservation but at the end of the booking process the website is doing nothing. In the website inspector its throws an error(im study informatik).So i cant book seats for the trains this means my Interrail-Pass is usless.They have no so support number so i have to write to the community. Interrail sucks.

I had purchased Global pass (opted for paper form) online. I did not get an email confirmation. However under my eurail account the order status is marked as ‘paid’. There is no tracking code. How do I track it? who do I contact and how? what if it doesn’t arrive on time
My wife and I bought separate passes, our kids are linked to my wife’s pass but I will travel more days with them (it’s complicated 🤷🏻♂️).Is it possible to easily transfer our children’s passes to me before we use them, as I will travel separately with them to another country for a while?I’m worried that my kids won’t be able to travel with me as they will be linked to my wife’s pass!Or is it possible to get an exchange for a family pass even though the parents will travel to different places for a while?Help! Hello everyone,I have a question concerning the seat reservations in Spain. On the internet it says that it‘s not possible to make these online. But since I‘ll be travelling this July, so during the holiday season I am concerned that I won‘t get a place on some trains. Does anyone have experiences with this and can tell me if there is a way to book the seats in advance or whether it‘s just not risky to book them at the train station? Thanks,Anne
We are traveling with three children next month, two of them have their own interrail global pass, but our 3 year old is too young for his own pass. But he's a little too heavy to be sitting on my lap for hours, so I wanted to include him in our seat reservation (ICE, Germany to France). I was told that wouldn't be possible unless I purchased a seperate ticket for him, at full price. I can't believe there's no way around this, or surely Interrail would have an option to add a toddler pass or something like that? Has anyone else had this problem?
