Hey Interrailers and Eurailers,We are aware of some issues with the Rail Planner app that have affected some of you in your travels. We are working hard to get to the bottom of them and we are sorry about any inconveniences they have caused. We have published important bug fixes in the latest version of the Rail Planner app, so please make sure you update to resolve these issues. Issue - Facing difficulties to make reservations in Italy

Hi all, As some of you may have noticed, there is an issue to book reservations for Italian trains. This is due to an unstable connection with our partner's Trenitalia booking system.Our team is currently working on it in close cooperation with Trenitalia to fix this issue.If you see it is loading and not showing any trains, we kindly ask you not to continue trying but to come back another time. In the case where you urgently need a reservation because you are traveling in the next days in Italy, please reach out to our customer service, they will be pleased to help you.We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. European Sleeper extended to PragueProduct Update

 In June of last year, we welcomed the European Sleeper to our Pass network. Our in-house train expert, Hugo, had the honor of riding with them on its inaugural trip.   Fast forward almost a year later, and Moniek from our HR team had the pleasure of joining the European Sleeper on its very first extended route from Amsterdam to Prague!  Moniek, a newcomer to night trains, has now become an enthusiast, thanks to her experience on the European Sleeper. We sat down with her to ask a few questions about her adventure.  As a first-time night train traveler, what were the main differences you noticed compared to traveling by day? When you check in, there is a friendly staff member to greet you and help you find your cabin. There is also a really fun, buzzy feeling on the train.   As a woman, did you feel secure while traveling on the night train? I wasn’t sure how I would feel, but in the end, I did feel secure throughout the trip. I had a private compartment that comes with double locks. N

Improved Pass benefits in SwitzerlandProduct update

We're excited to share an update to our Pass benefits. Starting June 1st, travellers in Switzerland no longer need to activate a travel day to use additional benefits or discounted products with the Pass. For an overview of all railway lines included in our Pass and Pass benefits in Switzerland, please visit this link. Tip: If a railway line or product is not part of our network but offers a discount, you will need an active pass, but not an activated travel day. However, if the railway line is included in our network, both an active pass and an activated travel day are required. For inspiration, hop over to our magazine and read the article "Chase Adventure: Switzerland by Train - Interlaken to the Jungfrau Region." We are currently experiencing an issue with our timetable in the Jungfrau region. The stretch from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, which is included in the Pass, is incorrectly showing as not included. Please rest assured that it is included, and we are working on fixing our time

Back to the continent at last for an Adaptive surf contest, part 1

 Very excited to be finally going back on the Eurostar over to the continent after a few years since the pandemic had blocked what was for me a regular thing,  This time as I put a surfboard under my arm it was with some nerves as I began preparing the wheelchair. As brief overview, with my physical disability I have tried to rediscover the sports I enjoyed before the onset of my disease, this have been both snow and sea related in the form of skiing and surfing.  18 months ago I got back in the water and slowly and surely found a way to get across the waves in the form of a knee surfer style. By chance I bumped into an adaptive England team coach in the water who told me there is a World Series of adaptive surfing competitions out there. So fast forward to 3 weeks ago and after competing in my first international competition in England, this was my second chance to ride some World Series competition waves comes around in Perros-Guric, Brittany, far North-west France. Back on the continent and off to surf…- part 2Blog

 When you arrive in Paris you spill out straight in to the busy centre of Parisian life, one of the amazing things of course of European train travel, is the immediate access to the centre of its cities. In my case the surf trip out to Brittany involved departing from Gare Montparnasse. Paris is not easy in a wheelchair, that’s my warning. Metro and RER are not accessible at all, so don’t try. You have two options one is to catch the bus, there are buses opposite the station which can take you to all the other major stations of Paris in about one hour. Put your hand out for the driver and ask for ‘la ramp’ which on Paris buses descends from the back door. Remember once the driver has shut the main doors, they reopen them again to engage the ramp, he is not driving off as it first seems! The other option is G7 taxis booked in advance and cost about €50 to get to the other main stations of Paris stations. They are fully equipped and usually meet you at the head of the train, www.g7.fr  A

The page keeps loading instead.It is working every now and then, but down at other times of the day. Floods in Czech Republic, Austria and PolandTrain Disruptions

Extreme weather conditions during mid-September in Central Europe continue to cause disruptions in Austria, Czech Republic, and Southern Poland.Austria: The 'Westbahn' railway line between Vienna and Linz will be disrupted for the time being, leading to longer travel times because of diversions and cancellations. This will also impact trains between Germany and Switzerland to Vienna (and further to Hungary). Czech Republic: Certain railway lines around Ostrava and Bohumin are still closed till mid-October. Impacting international trains from Czech Republic to Poland. Poland: Around Klodzko, on the railway line from Wroclaw to Prague, replacement buses will run for the time being.We recommend checking the timetables of the country you're travelling in – ÖBB for Austria, CZ for Czech Republic and PKP for Poland – before departing for your planned train journey for up-to-date train schedules.

Strike in the Netherlands on Wednesday, 11 SeptemberTrain Disruptions

Strike action may impact regional, high-speed and international rail journeys in the Netherlands from 04:00 to 08:00 CET on 11th September. Train traffic might also be affected on 10th September. Check the NS strike announcement for more details.
