hi everyone,I desperately need to reserve a seat on this connection between Avignon and Madrid on the 23rd of October. The checkout function does not allow me to purchase a ticket and calling the French and Spanish railway was no help either. They all advise me to just see if I can get a ticket at the station. Is there no way to make a seat reservation when you don't live in either France or Spain? Does anyone have tips or suggestions? It would be much appreciated!Best,Jesper.
Hi!We are hoping to travel from Strasbourg to Florence in early July.We have seen the train from Strasbourg to Basel exists and doesn’t need booking. However, when looking on the Eurail app, the train from Basel to Milan was ~12 hours, whereas on Trainline, it was ~4. We are worried that the faster train doesn’t come under the interrail pass, please help if you know. From Milan to Florence, we could find a train with Trenitalia however, once again, there was nothing on the app. For Trenitalia, we can’t add our interrail pass, so we don’t know if we need to book or not. We would super grateful for any help!
Dear all,For our trip Brussels Malaga with 2 children and 2 adults we have managed to book all seat reservations now, however we had to use all different channels (DB Reiseservice, sncf hotline, our extended family in Spain going to the train station…). Thanks for all the super advice already here on the community which helped a lot.I still have one issue though as the reservation done through sncf have spelling mistakes (f instead of s 2x in my family name and the one of the kids). Basically one could still deduct that it’s us, but it’s not the same. Does anybody have a recent experience whether this is being controlled? Shall I contact sncf to cancel and re-issue? bests,Elisabeth
Hi, guys!I am currently booking all trains for my interrail tour. I receive almost all bookings as an e-ticket by email, except for the Montpellier-Barcelona connection. Why can’t this ticket be sent by email, but only in printed form? For this I have to pay 9 euros shipping costs....Can someone help me?Thank you!

Hi - I’m having trouble adding the second traveler in my party. After entering the surname and mobile pass number on this page (I am certain both are correct), I receive the error message in the second screenshot below. I see that others have had similar problems, but cannot see that there is any other resolution other than to contact customer service. Is contacting customer service the only solution to this issue? I used my homeward and outward trip in homeland. So I need to buy a ticket now to the border, but train does not stop at the border. Do I need a ticket to the last station in homeland, to the first stop in Belgium or to the border station where the train does not stop?
Hi! I reserved seats for a train ride from Barcelona Sants to Lyon Part Dieu for March 31. I booked the seat reservation through eurail, and also received the seat reservation confirmation already. However, upon checking in the app - seems like the journey changed. My original seat reservation was for BARCELONA SANTS to MONTPELLIER SAINT-ROCH, then MONTPELLIER SAINT-ROCH to LYON PART DIEU. The journey now for the exact same time departure time from Barcelona became BARCELONA SANTS To NARBONNE, then NARBONNE to LYON PART DIEU.Has anyone ever experienced something like this? What happens to my paid seat reservation? Will it still be valid for the updated journey? Appreciate any feedback for anyone who experienced a similar issue. Thank you!
I reallyneed help. I want to go by train from cologne to naples on the16th of july and back on the 24th. It seems to be very hard. I dont know whoch pass i need because the trains are going through some countrys and over night and i can not see any reservation possibilitys in the night trains. can please someone help menot loosing my holiday?
Hi! For some reason, every time I try to use the reservation tool via the interrail website my pass doesn’t show up. I login with my account as requested but my pass (1 month global pass) does not appear and I am unable to make any reservations. I need to reserve seats on the French TGV and cannot find any other way of doing this. Would love to hear anything tips on what I can do in this situation! Thank you!
Hi all;I’ve just purchased a mobile pass to travel through France, but I’ve now run into a problem in that I apparently need a “Pass Cover Number” in order to book travel on the French train network, and my mobile pass doesn’t appear to have one of these?Is there any way to obtain a Pass Cover Number for a mobile ticket? The trip sort of hinges on being able to make these French reservations and I’d prefer to not have to do it on the day of travel at the train station!
Hi,We are planning on travelling for 1 ½ months in July/August. We would like to take a sleeper car on the night train from Sofia to Burgas. I tried to book the train on the BDZ website, but I can't find the discount option for an interrail pass. Is it true, that we can only book it at an international ticket window in Sofia? If so, will there be enough room in the middle of summer?
I’ve found the train and connection I need. However, when I change the Type of Seat from Seat to Couchette (or Sleeper) Interrail/Eurrail is no longer listed as an available discount. How do I book a couchette (or sleeper) with my Global Interrail pass?Thank You

Have you had any trouble reaching certain destinations? Were the trains you wanted to take always available or not? What made you decide to take the train rather than some other form of transportation? What are obstacles you faced with the railway system in Europe? We are in a small town of Norway just above Brønnøysund. We arrived here from Trondheim with an non-reservation train last Sunday. Now, we want to go on tomorrow, but the next non-reservation train passes through on Saturday and we can't buy an reservation because it's post-only that will need 6 days and it seems like there is no personelle here that could help us. Do you have any ideas what we can do to get out of here without paying 120€ for a separate ticket and not waiting here till Saturday and go in the opposite direction we want or wait 1 Week here because there are no digital reservations. The only thing for what I know is ask people that work on the train before boarding.
Hello!A group of 6 of us have a week long trip going from London to Switzerland to Venice to Croatia. I am concerned with my booking. We have first class passes and a few instances along the trip it says “You're ready to boardYou can buy a seat reservation if you like but it's not required.”I am just looking to make sure that if I do not buy the seat reservation that I will be guaranteed a spot on the train. Or is it a better idea to just buy the seat reservations for all 6 of us. We just don’t want to be stuck somewhere and have that screw up our whole trip. Thank you!
Hi, I made reservations for 3 trains, paid for it, but never got a confirmation email and there not in my account. The money is taken off of my bank account, but all my other reservations are in my account except for this order. I'm travelling tomorrow and contacted Interrail 3 weeks ago but I still don't have a reply. What should I do?
Hi, I just posted a topic as the trains times available on the interrail website are different from those available on the app. For instance, I would like to book (and find out about reservations for):Cologne - Krakow (Monday 5th of September) - 06:17 - 18:10 (reservations needed from Berlin-Krakow) However, this is not shown on the app. So how would i show the train ticket collector that I have a reservation? Or is that only for the first day of travel? After that do I just show the QR code? The only journeys available on the app are night trains. Thanks,Alex
