I have a couple of questions about the tickets (seat reservations) I received from Trenitalia booked via Interrail.The ticket says we reservated First Class tickets, but we reservated second class (our pass is for second class). Why? We are all 16/17 years old and is says we are adults. Is this correct?
Hello, I have a problem because I really need to do some reservations for next week, but the reservation tool on the website doesn't work and I can't do it in the app as well. And I can't do it on any other website nor will I have the time to buy it at the station. The website just does not load or closes itself again and again when I try to write the directions. Hello! Glad to have found this community for helping out fellow travelers :)I have a group of 4 family members which are going for a 22 day travel through Europe, mostly by trains. They bought the 22 day global pass for 2 adults, 1 youth, 1 senior and are trying to book the trips, starting from Rome Termini, going North until Paris Gare-De-Lyon (they will continue from there to London then Amsterdam and finally Interlaken, before going back to Rome for their return flight to Brazil.The Eurail website is able to find the routes in the planner and add them to the cart, then finally fail with a 500 error when finishing the order. I could find several threads on the community about similar errors and how unreliable the Planner is, so I have directed them to the oebb website to do the reservations. But they don’t seem to be able to find a suitable route even for the start of the journey (Rome-Paris).Their desired starting date is Aug-13, from Rome Termini to Paris Gare-De-Lyon from 9am onwa
Hello everyone,We are a group of five people that have Interrail global passes for the 2nd class and we need help with two trains, one from Hamburg to Copenhagen at the 7th of August (leaving Hamburg at 23:56 and reaching Copenhagen at 8:19). We have already booked a reservation for a train that leaves the next day (at 8:19 AM) from Copenhagen to Stockholm, so we don’t want to miss that. But the one that leaves at 23:56 from Hamburg says that the reservations are sold out. If it had to be done, we would just try to find a train that would take us straight from Hamburg to Stockholm and just try to cancel the reservation (if it’s even possible, some of them were sold out and some were unavailable because of some sweden rail track repairs from what I’ve read). The same goes for the train from Copenhagen to Hamburg at the 14th of August (leaving Copenhagen at 5:17 and reaching Hamburg at 10:05). Hi there we are travelling to Europe in April/May 2023 from Australia for our Honeymoon which was postponed from 2020. We have a 1st Class Eurail Pass and I am having trouble booking seat reservations for the following journeys: (IC143) Amsterdam Centraal - Berlin Hbf / 9:10 - 15:25 on 20/4/2023(EC360) Prague Hlavni Nadrazi - Munich Hbf / 7:43 - 13:18 on 28/4/2023 For the IC143 train, it allows me to get to the review page however states that it the journey is no longer available, this is also the case on the Bahn website and other times and dates. The EC360 train does not allow me to book seat reservations on any day, this is also the case on the Bahn website.Is anyone else having the same issues? Or am I attempting to book to early, I had no problems booking Berlin to Prague on the 26th of April.
I bought first class passes for my son and I to travel from London to Munich, then Munich to Paris, and Paris back to London, yet no matter what I try, we’re unable to book from London across to even begin our journey. It keeps telling me I might have to buy a full fare ticket despite already buying first class passes for almost $1000. I don’t know what to do because we leave this Wednesday and I’ve been trying to get a hold of Eurail by phone for 2 weeks. Their response by email took a week and only said they’d try to be able to contact me within a week. We’re flying over Wednesday. Help please!
HelloWe want to travel (with our two kids) on a night train from Split to Zagreb in August (on a Monday night). The reservations tool seems to say we don’t need a reservation, which I am sure is not true! We want to book a couchette room so that we can all have a bunk. I have spoken to the Croatian railway company HZPP, but they said that with an interrail pass we can only reserve the couchette in person at the railway station. We will only be able to get to the train station on the day we want to travel. We can’t afford not to travel that night, as we have a tight schedule the next day. Does anyone know if it gets full up? Is it safer to book and pay for a couchette separately? it’s not expensive as there’s a special discount currently. Any thoughts very welcome! Thank you
Two English retirees starting tomorrow on 2 month IST class interrail trip around EuropeAfter reading advice on here, I've used the oebb app to make 2 reservations for Italy1. Viareggio to Salerno on IC train.The app flagged up that mobile tickets were Not Available for this journey, which was contrary to our expectations. Tickets could only be via email and pdf to print out, or to collect in Austria. Maybe this is because they are domestic Italian trains. Does anyone know? 2. Venice to Innsbruck on EC train. Booking and reservation went fine, but seat selection is bad. Diagonally opposite each other on different sides of central gangway. Ie 3 seats apart!!Can this be changed in anyway, online or in person when we get to Venice.Thanks for any advice
I wasn’t able to proceed the seat reservation in France and Italy legs. My Trip will be London Paris Interlaken florence rome. Eurostar seat reservation was successful for July 02. The online system let me go until the I click on the payment button. It showed error and prompted that the leg has error.

Hi,First days of trip and I am spending hours struggling with booking the next leg of our journey. I am learning a lot about Interrail in the process but this is too time consuming. I now realise I should have done all this planning before our first day of travel. I didn't expect things to be this complicated!We need to go from Montpellier to Málaga. I thought we could do this in 1 day of travel but it seems very difficult to reserve the trains in Spain online!Any tips? Thanks in advance.
Varenna to Tirano and replacement bus - adding the trip, first part of journey is shown as ''not in network''
We are travelling to Tirano from Varenna soon. I know all about the trackworks and there is a replacement bus. However when looking on the interrail app to add the trip it is showing the first part of the journey by train to Colico is "not in network" why is this the train is RE 10316.
Hey everyone, I am trying to book a reservation for the Eurostar from Paris to London on the 14th of January (it absolutely needs to be this date), but the Interrail reservations tools just tells me that there are no schedules available yet. I have been checking the website for a couple week, but they have not been updated yet. On the actual Eurostar page, however, the train times are already available. I am somewhat concerned about getting a reservation, as the Interrail website advises you to book the Eurostar about six months in advance. Can someone tell me when the schedules will be up? I would be very grateful for help! Eva

Hi - I purchased two tickets on my laptop at the ÖBB site. I have since downloaded the OBB app and do not see any way to move the tickets to the app. Is this possible? And, we are traveling during the holidays and would like to ensure we sit together. I have read several posts here about reserving seats, but no mention of selecting seats. Is that not possible? Is it first come first serve on seats? Thanks very much for any help!
I wasn’t able to book a nightjet ticket for July on the Amsterdam to Vienna route via ÖBB as there weren’t any routes showing in my search. So I asked ÖBB’s customer services why this was, and got a reply today: “The reason why the Nightjet from Amsterdam to Vienna is not bookable is due to construction works. The timetable still has to be worked out for this. Therefore, please keep trying to book the desired journey.” Does anyone know about this, and when the timetable is likely to be “worked out”? I am a bit confused about the advice to keep trying! I’ve got a whole family holiday resting on very specific travel requirements, so would appreciate a bit of help understanding if I should just find an alternative if if it’s likely I’ll be able to book this route in a few months. I could ask ÖBB but the last reply took 11 days so thought it would be faster here. Thanks!
Hey!I am currently in Amsterdam, travelling with Interrail, Global Pass.Tomorrow I want to travel to Kopenhagen. Unfortunatly, I have to travel through germany. I used one of my two rides inside/outside my homecountry (Germany) for travelling to Amsterdam.As I have to travel back home, i have to use the second ride.Am I really supposed to buy an extra Ticket for all the way from Amsterdam to Kopenhagen???! I can't transver germany because i'm from.german? A direct train is also not available from Amsterdam to Kopenhagen. Maybe I could avoid the "Home Country Ride"Can you help me out? Its my first time travelling with Interrail, and I would be really disappointed if i have to buy that expensive extra Ticket!Thank you all!Cheers, Jonas
I am trying to add a journey to my trip in France (called Nomad train). I dont need a reservation.The app doesn't put the trains that usually travel between the 2 cities I wanna travel. There is no solution to take another train to come home.On the France app Oui sncf, we can still buy tickets between those 2 cities and I ALREADY USED interrail for this same train between the 2 cities 2 months ago.How can I do to add this journey when it doesnt exist in the app?Moderator note: correction to information above; as checked with SNCF you do need a reservation for this train.
