Streik Erstattung Alternativverbindung

Hallo zusammen, Ich bin am 20.05.2023 in Barcelona mit einem Kumpel gewesen. Wir wollten mit dem Zug um 10.33 Uhr über Paris nach Barcelona fahren. Leider ist der Zug ausgefallen und es gab keine Alternative als den Flixbus. Interrail kam mit den Erstattungen der Reservierungen sehr entgegen. Wir bleiben aber aktuell über die Zusatzkosten des alternativen Verkehrsmittels sitzen und kamen außerdem 12 Stunden zu spät an. Ist hier Interrail oder SNCF zuständig? Interrail verweist auf SNCF bezüglich der Zusatzkosten durch den Flixbus. SNCF weist darauf hin, dass nicht über die SNCF gebucht wurde. Bleibt man als Interrail-Kunde auf den Zusatzkosten sitzen oder gibt es einen Link wohin man sich wenden kann? Ich danke für die Hilfe im Voraus.

Train not in Eurail schedule

Hi. I would like to book an overnight train from Mannheim to Prague, at 23:42 on 20 August. The Deutsche Bahn website has two train references for the same time: EN40459 and EC459 (see screenshot below). The EN train has couchettes and the EC train has seats only. The times are the same and, I guess, are actually the same train but with different sections for couchettes/seats. The Eurail booking/reservation system shows only the EN train, and requires reservations, but there are no spaces available for that either through the Eurail website or through the Deutsche Bahn website. Spaces on the EC train are available, and I would like to reserve that, but that train does not appear in the Eurail booking system so I cannot add it to my pass. I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas how I can add the EC459 train to my Eurail pass, or otherwise how I might make this work? Thanks,BK

Croatia/ Hrvatska timetables

I have planned most of my trip which starts at the end of June. I have 3 days open to stay somewhere and was considering Pula, Rijeka or Umag Croatia. I was wondering if it is possible to use a Eurail pass to go from Bled, Slovenia to either of those 3 destinations or if it is mostly by bus. Also was wondering if there is any train service from either of those locations to Milan, Italy. Thank you.

Question regarding mandatory Seat Reservation in DB and SNCF trains with Eurail Global pass.

Hi Everyone, I will be traveling this summer from Copenhagen to Hamburg (Deutsche Bahn or DB), Hamburg to Strasbourg (DB), Strasbourg to Toulouse (DB + SNCF), and finally Toulouse to Barcelona (SNCF + R3). I have the Eurail Global pass. My question is, in DB and SNCF trains is seat reservation mandatory? In the Eurail application, it shows “reservation required” on most trains, which is strange, because when reading through the https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm#eurail-interrail-reservations-service it seemed that except for some high-speed trains like TGV, etc seat reservation is not mandatory although is advised. One can just hop on, choose an empty seat and show the pass. I would hate to land in problems while traveling and pay hefty fines. It would be great if some of you could help me with your experience. Directions for travel

Hello, i am currently interrailing with my girlfriend and so far weve been to krakow and budapest and currently staying in belgrade. We are planning to take the train to bar from here but i am a bit lost on where to go from there... Travel Buddy in August

Hi, I am looking for someone (or more people) to travel with me in August. I want to use my Interrail-Ticket to travel and see the north of Europe. I am from Germany so I'll start there and my first stop would be Copenhagen in Denmark. After that I want to travel to Stockholm and Oslo. Storing luggage at Train Stations: Brussels Nord or Midi, Cologne (Germany), Venice, Bern

Greetings,We will have to store our bags at the below train stations for periods of 3-8 hours.Brussels: 8 hours Cologne (Germany): 3-4 hours Venice: 6-8 hours Bern: 3 hours Cannes: 3 hoursIs there a way to check whether the train stations have luggage storage facility (self service lockers or not), size allowed, fees, how to pay, and whether we can pre-book them? Do they generally sell out in the busy summer period?Thanks

Florence to Nice (France) - reservation with OBB

Greetings!I am having a difficulty in making a reservation from Florence to Nice via OBB site. OBB site says “There are no services available for this section of the journey. You will need another ticket for the section of the journey”, however, it also then list a train, implying that we have to get reservation or a seat by some other meansQ1) Am I not able to book this journey through OBB? Q2) Moreover, After I arrive in Milan or Rome, am I able to physically go to a train station and make this booking?Below are screenshots showing the exact problem. Pass connected to wrong trip

Today my trip was suddenly no longer connected too my trip with name XEurope-CK. I went to my pass to connect it again to this trip but apparently I did something wrong as it connected to the standard ‘Mytrip’. Does anyone know how I can disconnect from this wrong ‘Mytrip’ so I can reconnect again to the proper XEurope-CK?As I am already traveling for 2 months I do not want to start a new trip.Thanks for helping out.Kind regards,Karel

Nottingham to St Pancras

I will be taking the Eurostar from London to Amsterdam but I am unsure if my pass will include my journey to London. I will be travelling from Nottingham to London and then will be getting the Eurostar from London. Both of these journeys will be on the same day but I am confused as to whether it is only the Eurostar which I will be able to take on my outbound day or if any travel in the uk (my country of residence) is included on that day. train to late seat reservation

Hey guys, iam sitting in my train, it is to late and i dont get my Connection where i needed to buy a seat Reservation. It seems i will arrive my endstation 45 Minutes to late, so not the 60 minutes to get a refund. Can i still get my money back for the seat Reservation i cant use?

There are no fast trains from Venice to Florence August 14-17. There are fast trains scheduled before and after those dates. Does anyone know of work is planned on this line?
