Booking on train tickets in Italy via Austrian OBB site using One-country Itay Eurail Pass, possible?
Hi, this lovely community has been great help in understanding how to reserve tickets for Eurail passes. I understand that it is possible to reserve seats for travels within Italy via the OBB website. However, I currently hold the One-country Italy only Eurail pass instead of the global version. Since the only discount applicable for Eurail pass on the OBB website is ‘Interail/Eurail - Globalpass’, I was wondering if a One-country Eurail passholder like me will be able to use the OBB site to reserve seats. It will be great if there is someone who can share some insight if the tickets booked on the OBB site mentions anything about ‘Global pass’ as I do not want to get into trouble for booking the wrong tickets. Please help!
Hello all. I have purchased a 5-day Eurail pass for use in May, and it is now time for me to reserve seats on certain trains that require such seat reservations.I have encountered a problem or puzzle involving booking such reservations through the Rail Planner app.The first day of travel, I must transfer between multiple trains with multiple seat reservations.The Rail Planner app consumed one of my five days for my first train trip, but now it says it will consume a second day for the second train trip, even though the second trip is still on the first day.Should I reserve the second trip or subsequent trips that day directly with the train operator, outside of the Rail Planner app? Or am I doing something else wrong?I was unable to get any help through other means, which brought me to this community forum.Thank you in advance for your help.Regards, Scott
Hi everyone, I want to reserve seats for Barcelona - Freiburg for the 12, 13 or 14 of August.I am new to Interrail. In the past I’ve done the route Barcelona - Freiburg, but SCNF keeps making things complicated.I used to do Barcelona - Paris and then Paris - Freiburg but, the TGV Paris - Freiburg doesn’t show up anymore.Also, I don’t understand how should I reserve a seat with SCNF? I have bought the Interrail Global pass. I read on this forum I have to call them? Is there an online way to book this?The Interrail website gives me reservation prices but when I click on each option the price disappears and there’s no booking option. Also the price is quite high, like 48€. Is that usual?Also RENFE says they will have AVEs Barcelona - Lyon before summer, but they are still not rolling. Any help on how to do Barcelona - Freiburg by train and on how to get SNCF seat reservations will be welcomed😊
I booked my reservation from Brussels to Barcelona and made the payment, but I got an email from you saying that, although you received the payment, due to technical glitch the reservation couldn't get through. I replied to the email choosing the option that you will rebook it for me. However, until now I cannot see the reservation neither on our app nor your website. Please help me! I cannot reach a human at EU Interrail. I have written them several times but they haven't responded yet...

I still have the ticket for Mai/June 2020 (startcountry austria) and I want to get personal contact and also an insurance, for sending my ticket to the interrail office for exchange. Hi, we are travelling to Marseillan Plage in the summer via Paris with a one country pass for France.If we take the TGV from Mannheim to Paris we will have to pay until Forbach and if we take the ICE from Karlsruhe to Paris we have to pay until Strasbourg, right? Just wanted to make sure as this is the first time we are travelling by Interrail with a one country pass and I can’t seem to find this information anywhere on the Interrail site. Thanks,Annika
Hey Guys,as you see in the title, I have booked 2nd class seat reservations for trains from Zurich to Milano and from Milano to Ventimiglia via interrail, but I received reservations for the first class in the documents attached to the email. What can I do know? I think I won‘t be able to travel in 1st class with a global pass for 2nd class? I already tried to contact the costumer service, but it takes a really long time for them to respond. Can anyone help me?thanks in advance,David
Hi,I wanted to travel out of the country with my NS Weekend Vrij Subscription Card, instead of using the outbound day.Had a long discussion about whether I had to use the outbound journey or not. The conductor said I had to use the outbound first, before using other tickets. So he actually forced me to use the outbound journey. He filled it in himself on my ticket, without asking me.As far as I know you can use the outbound day at any time, and choose to use other tickets instead. who was right here? I think it was unfair. I wanted to keep my outbound journey for another time, when my weekend subscription card is not valid.
I recently bought a couchette reservation on the interrail website booking system for Intercity Notte 798 from Napoli Cle to Milano P Garibaldi on the 6th of july. As the confirmation e-mail I got from interrail confirms, I paid 86€ in total for two persons (41€x2 + 4€ booking fee). However the pdf tickets I got attached to the e-mail say that I only paid 3€ per person and they are for two seats, not two couchettes. Vagonweb.cz shows that coach 3 (where I have been allocated) is normally a seat only coach. And trenitalia support confirmed to me that I have indeed been given a seat, but refused to help more. So now 80€ have been stolen from me, I have no way of getting this money back and I don’t even have the couchettes I paid for! I contacted interrail support with that stupid confusing chatbot, but three days later I haven’t got any response… I am leaving soon, and I would like this issue to be resolved, 80€ is a lot of money! I appreciate that it isn’t easy to have a perfect websit
I tried to reserve seats to France - Spain train. Unfortunately reservations for trains between France and Spain are only on paper. The system calculates that it takes more than 4 weeks to deliver tickets to Finland. So I called directly to SNCF and they could have made the reservation, but they don’t accept visa payments from Nordic countries so the reservation was impossible. They advised to contact Interrail again. Which is a dead end cause only paper tickets and delivery is impossible.
Hi! Why can´t I book a ticket at the https://www.b-europe.com/EN with a interrail mobile pass? When I try to book a seat (Seat reservations required) the page asks for my interrail pass cover number and when I type in my number it says it's not valid and it also says it only works with a paper format pass. Is that correct? I have also seen lots of people with the same problem. I want to go from Paris to Bordeaux Saint-Jean on the 25 of June at 7:11 pm. how can I get a pass cover number when I have a mobile pass? What should I do?
When I search for a train station in the railplanner app to add a journey to my mobile pass, the search doesn't give me any results of trainstations I could add. I didn't do that at the beginning of my journey. And now I'm stuck and can't add any more journeys.Has anyone any ideas what I could do?I also have no results if I choose only one train station that is in the list of already searched stations to show me the connections from there. I ordered our passes by 7 June 2022. Eurail shows payment as received, but hasn’t yet sent the passes by mail. It claims we will receive these by 16 July 2022.We are in Australia and depart for overseas towards the end of September 2022.With previous Eurail Golbal Passes years ago, I had always bought a paper pass locally from a Eurail-affiliated travel agent, but the only one in Melbourne I tracked down said it only sells mobile passes (at a substantial added cost to the price the Eurail site charges.We don’t want mobile passes as I can’t rely on smartphones, and as a bonus I enjoy filling in the record of travel and posting it to Eurail once back in Australia.I realise the Eurail office is likely to be very busy (and perhaps is having difficulty obtaining sufficient staff) but there’s not even a Eurail Aid office in London, UK, Paris or France yet the UK is where we commence our travel.It’s impossible to book seats on compulsory reserved seat trains until we have the paper Pass num
My pass has been sitting in my app for months , inactivated without problems. I opened the app today and it is not there and will not let me re add - keeps coming up with error message. I have no new device, and have booked all my reservations successfully using my details. Does anyone know how to solve this issue, have contacted Interrail in as many ways as possible ? Very urgent

It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board. Any one please help me in this booking. Hi there, Ive read many threads on this website and am struggling to book a TGV/intercite de Nuit from Paris to nice on the 10th of July. I haven't managed to find any overnight trains to my disappointment, and no TGV in the daytime on the 11th on the interrail reservation service. I have read in another thread that the ‘check back later’ error message means that all 10 euro trains have sold out, and 20 euro trains are available for purchase on other providers, such as B Europe. I wanted to know, is there any way for me to book that intercity de Nuit train, or if not a way to book the TGV without the pass cover number, or how to request the pass cover number.Many thanks in advance,Alexandra
When I search for reservations for 28 December, lots of booking times appear, but for each one, a red exclamation mark appears with the following statement Not available from Eurail.comThis seat reservation can’t be booked on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book.I have tried to click - More Information and the solutions it offers, do not work either.Is this related to the current rail strike?Or is there some other issue I am unaware of?I am trying to use my eurail pass from Australia.Getting worried that we will not be able to get there!thank you!
Do I need seat reservation for ICE 944 from Berlin Hof to Celle, Germany for late October (I have Eurail Mobile Global Pass)?
Good day to you all.I’m preparing to take a morning train from Berlin Hof to Celle, Germany. Let’s say between 7 AM and 9 AM. This would be in late October. I see ICE (InterCity Express) train leaving Berlin Hof. I take it this a high-speed or bullet train. I have the Mobile Global Pass. On Eurail.com, it says seat reservation is not required. I see 1st class seat is 8 Euros. 2nd class seat is also 8 Euros. Is there a need to buy a seat reservation? Or, it’s not expected to be busy at this time?I understand I can check how busy the train is on the bahn.com site but I’m having trouble finding where precisely it lists how busy the train is. I will be carrying hand-luggage with me, as well. I was hoping to store it in a luggage locker at the Celle station. Are there any luggage lockers at the Celle station which can store hand-luggage? Maybe this question should be moved to a new topic.Thank you for any help!
I booked a three-month global pass I planned to use between early July and late September. As I had severe delays on multiple of my journeys in July, I decided to claim a refund. To my delight, it didn’t take long until I received a small sum. The negative consequence I wasn’t expecting is that my pass got deactivated even though it is valid for another month.I now know that the ticket has to be deactivated to claim a refund but instead of simply deactivating the pass for me without warning, they could have told me that a refund was not possible as long as the pass is in use.Is there a way of having my pass reactivated? I am happy to return the refund. I already contacted the customer service but still haven’t heard back. I’m planning to travel in a week and really need to make those reservations. Many thanks!
I bought an Interrail Global Flash Sale Pass Senior during the 50% discount offer. I went the whole hog and chose the First Class 3 months continuous variety. Having no firm travel plans at the time of purchase I randomly selected validity start date of 3rd September. I understand that I can alter that at any time within the 11 months from the date I purchased the pass.I now want to take flight from the UK to Paris for a swing around France for a few weeks, travelling by train of course, to visit friends and relatives resident there - probably for just three or four weeks - before returning to the UK either by Eurostar or more likely by air (I live near Scotland so the cost of train from London to home is not much less than a flight home from Paris to my local airport).Here is my question. Since my pass is a 3 month continuous one but I’ve used three or four weeks of it, will I be able to use up the days remaining on it on another holiday in Europe at a later date before the expiry of
Refund of MobilePass, start day and two traveling days are wrongly registered at a trip that does not exist
HiI wanna make a refund on two MobilePass.Before I bought the MobilePass I searched in the Train Planner App to make sure the trip I wanted to go, to a specific location and at a specific time actually existed, and it did.So, after this was confirmed I went to Train Planets webb and bought two MobilePass, one for me and one for my daughter.I then connected my MobilePass to Train Planner and with the trip I had saved in My Trips.A start date was created the 12/6, the same day as my first trip, and 2/4 days was showen as registered as used in my MobilePass, in the Train Planner App.When I was going to do the same in my daughters app the trip did no longer exist. No, it was not fully book, the trip did not exist. This was confirmd by the support at DSB in Copenhangen trainstation who searched for the specific trip without finding it.I have a DSB signed/stamped paper that confirms that this is what happend.Here we are with two MobilePass with start date 12/6, in one pass 2/4 trips are regi
I am preparing myself for travel across Spain to Portugal in the busy Christmas period by looking at the RENFE and Rail Europe apps to judge ticket availability, particularly on the San Sebastian - Madrid route. Just as an example, yesterday RENFE was showing ALL trains for TODAY as FULL whereas Rail Europe was showing availability on ALL trains. Same goes now for tomorrow’s 9.02am train.This baffles me - but the key question is what would the ticket office in San Sebastian be showing now? Would they have a reservation to sell me because in fact the Rail Europe app is showing a truer position than Renfe?Thanks, Scott
