We have ‘15Days in 2 months 2nd Class’ Eurail Global Pas. We will be travelling from Prague HBF (Prague Hlavni Nadrazi) → Budapest-Keleti Budapest-Keleti → Vienna Hbf (Wien Hauptbahnhof Vienna)Seat reservation are optional for both. No reservation allows for change of plan. Reservation ensures seating especially long journey from Prague to Budapest.Should we reserve seats or not?
Hello all! Very new to all this, but I’ve had absolutely no luck paying for seat reservations at all. The only leg of my journey I can’t afford to use the “no seat reservation” filter is from Amsterdam to London (travelling on 13th or 14th April). I thought a couple of weeks in advance would have been enough, but am I being completely naïve?! I would have thought there’d at least be some potential to get a ticket… Any words of wisdom around this would be greatly appreciated, before I go ahead and book a flight (boo).
Bonjour je ne comprends pas l'utilité des outbound et inbound Mon pays de résidence est la franceJ'ai pris avec ma copine un pass de 7 jours J'ai utilisé le simulateur qui nous aide a choisir notre passe , dans les consigne cest ecrit quil faut choisir les destinations seulem ent jai mis 7 ville différente (Luxembourg, berlin, prague, vienne, budapest, venise, rome) il ma indiqué que je peux prendre donc le pass de 7 jours Seuf que quand jai pris le pass et jai programmé le voyage il mindique quil me manque un jours Je ne comprends pas trop
Hi, i would like to know if eurail is the only option to check and book seat reservation for the below route. And which website should i use to look for train timings from Bruges (Belgium) to Luxembourg (Luxembourg). I had 3 different results from 3 different websites.
Hey Community, does somebody know why Interrail isn’t providing a booking platform for train journey in europe? They already have their business partners, so why make it so complicated? I mean there is “thetrainline.com” but even there you actually don’t book your tickets together, when you travel internationally. You always buy seperate tickets together, which has plenty of disadvantages.

Hello guys,We have problems in general to reserve any train piece. Because in all options appears only an exclamation mark so with is not possible for us to see the price or to put a selected reservation in the samples. We need help very urgently. Thank you
I am trying to make my train reservations from Lyon Part Dieu to Barcelona Sants for 26.12. Journey begins at 11:06am. This is a 2 part journey. It does not look like I can no longer reserve seats for part 1. When I booked part 2 my transaction goes through but then I receive an email from Eurail stating something went wrong with the reservation. It is extremely frustrating! We are on a pretty tight travel schedule. My biggest concern is getting the ticket from Nimes to Barcelona Sants on the 13:18 train. I should have more options from Lyon to Nimes (regional train.) Can anyone advise?
How to book at train from Edinburgh to Gloucester on 24th September for 6 people with family and friends pass?
I can’t seem to get my hands on tickets for Edinburgh to Gloucester on the 24th of September. Trainline.com haven’t yet released tickets (is this normal for just over a month out). Eurail.com says you can’t book them there. acprail.com say dates not available. Any other ideas? I’d love to feel organised as I’ve booked accomodation. thanks so much for your help :)
Hi, I am planning on doing a 3-month interrail trip in September and I’m taking a few night trains. However, i only want to book single sleepers, I don’t want to share. Is it necessary to buy a 1st class interrail pass? or will the 2nd class suffice? Thanks!
My Son is joining us on a trip , he's just started a new job and has to change the dates he travels back , the journey is from Colmar to Carmarthen on December 28th & we can't find any available reservations or on the 27th & 29th , & he can't afford to pay for a full price eurostar ticket, any other suggestions?
Hello, I never received my paper passes following an order on the Interrail site. The pass is for 22 days. The delivery man did not find my address, so the passes are returned to the Netherlands at interrail. However after 4 or even 5 contacts with interrail, no return of their pass, no response. This worries me because my holidays are coming, that I would like to organize my trip and that I have committed a large sum of money. What should be done in this case? Tanks you for your help, Lea
Hi Interrailers! I have a question about two seat reservations between Lyon-Barcelona and Barcelona-Valencia - I can see that other travellers had similar problems with seat reservations on these routes.I called RENFE (Spanish Train Operator) and they told me that it is not possible to make seat reservations for these trains online (wtf) and that you HAVE to reserve seats at a physical train station. That is problematic because I have a 6 hour train ride beforehand from Zürich to Lyon, and it would be stupid to show up in Lyon if the train is fully booked - and again stupid to show up in Barcelona later that day if that is fully booked(: Do you know a way around to reserve online? Or do you know if I can reserve seats from an Austrian train station? Or if my friend in Spain can make the seat reservation for me and then send me the reservation with email?Stay safe! Allan
I ordered 4 night train tickets for me and my friends and said it to be delivered to an address in Germany. The tracking number after putting into the tool on postnl website says. Our apologies, we did not make the promised timeframe for your delivery. Keep an eye on your track & trace overview for more information.It has been over 4 days now and we need them in time asap. What can be done to reattempt the delivery?
HiI bought my passes (15 in 2 months)in March with the 10% promo but would like to exchange them for the continuous pass that is on offer now. Im having no joy getting a reply with customer services and the offer ends soon.My question is, because I bought my passes with a 10% promo can I exchange these tickets for the 15€ pervticket fee or not?My confirmation says it can be exchanged or refunded with a link to the refund/exchange policy which then says some promos cannot be refunded/ exchanged.Could someone please help? Hi,I have a problem with a night train from sweden back to my residence country germany. When using the night train from Malmo C to Hamburg the mobile pass uses my last inbound travel day on the 18th april but i need it on the 19th april to get back home. The workaround i have found here does not work because the last stop of the train is in Denmark before midnight. Border crossing to germany should be around 3:00am.Does anyone have an idea how to use it correctly in the app to have a valid ticket?
Dear Intervall team,I have a question concerning my trip to Venice. I will take the train the 14th of April from Berlin to Venice. Departure time from Berlin is 7:37h. Arrival time is 23h50 in St. Lucia (Venice). The Interrail homepage says that I have to book reservations for this trip. I called the Deutsche Bahn and asked them. They informed me that for none of these trains a reservation is actually necessary, but optional. I would be greatful if you could answer me regarding this matter, as the trip moves closer.Also, unfortunately the trip does not appear in the Application. So I ask myself how am I supposed to add this trip when its not in the App? (I have a mobile pass). In general, the planning with your homepage is really complicated as the informations concerning the trips are often not correct. Up to date information is only on the homepage of the deutsche bahn. Unfortunately, as a customer it is also not possible to talk to someone of your team via phone in a more direct way
HelloI am going around in circles regarding which private operators in Sweden accept the pass. The list on the IR site says one thing, ACP (another retailer) shows a different one and when I asked about trains run by Kalmar länstrafik the train operator said they did despite it not being listed! Screenshots of lists / Facebook chat conversations. One operator Mälartåg who operate around Västerås aren’t listed. Their social media says contact SJ as “they manage IR in Sweden” and SJ can’t help.Years ago when I sold European Rail tickets, we had access to the InterRail annexe which had far more comprehensive information than was ever published on the pass guides / T&Cs. Is there access to this at all to verify the full list? Thank youPhil Richards.
I am due to travel outbound from UK to Brussels via Eurostar on 13 August, and have heard the train to London will not be running due to strikes. I believe I can only use my interrail pass for connecting journeys in my home country on the day that I catch the Eurostar. The cheapest we can travel to London the night before will cost us (family of 5) £253 plus accommodation. Is there any way to cover this, through interrail, the striking rail company or travel insurance? We don’t have reservations for the connecting journey as they are not required.
Good day, I am facing an issue at the moment with my interrail pass. I want to schedule my journey back to my home country -which is Belgium- and the app tells me that I wasted both outbound and inbound day travels. When I checked closer, I discovered that the app put me an In/outbound day journey on a Berlin-Prague travel. It has no sense. Furthermore it took me one hour for getting out from Belgium. How can I lose both In/out travel back on on one hour travel. It seems that the app is having some troubles and I am sure that I would have less issues with the paper pass as I used when I was younger. Please enlighten me on this case. Thanks in advance.
I bought an eurail pass but apparently i can't use it because my country of birth is not available on the drop down menu under reservations !!! I was born in Cuba but I'm a US Citizen with an American passport. What am I supposed to do in this case? I'm trying to request a refund but I dont even see an option for it and the customer service is nonexistent.
