Getting to Belgrade (or anywhere in Serbia) - mission impossible?
Hi! So, I was planning on traveling through the Balkans in June, starting off in Romania (fairly easy to access country) and was wishing to go from there to Belgrade (Serbia) and then Sarajevo (Bosnia) before maybe going into Croatia. Turns out though, that getting from anywhere in Romania to Belgrade is impossible - the Interrail timetables doesn't even recognize Belgrade as a location,which is odd.Looking into other Serbian cities, although they ARE listed, this image comes up with every single city connection. On the other hand, in the section about Serbia (https://www.eurail.com/en/get-inspired/top-destinations/serbia-train) on the interrail webpage it talks about several connections from places like Zurich or Bucharest. So, what is the deal? I hear it's impossible to cross over from Romania directly right now, but even if I get a bus to cross the border, how come serbian trains aren't even showing up?Sorry, I know the questions is kinda specific. Any sort of help is welcome. :)
interrail pass eligibility for uk citizen
Hi.I’m a U.K. citizen looking to buy one of your continuous interrail passes that are currently discounted to celebrate the 50th anniversary. I read somewhere that these passes are only available to EU residents. Is this true? Am I eligible as a British citizen or do I need to purchase a Eurail pass? Thanks, Liam
Interrail App is deleting journeys when I add them to My Pass
My App is completely stuffing up!!! Firstly, I am unable to view all my Saved Journey’s in My Trip. Sometimes I will save a journey, and then when I go to view it, it is not there!!Secondly, when I try to book a journey and add it to My Pass, it will add it initially, then later when I check it has completely disappeared!! I am using a Flexi Pass, and it is almost impossible to add 2 journeys to one travel day, as either one of the journey’s always keeps disappearing. This is very very frustrating as I don’t have a valid ticket for the trains I need to catch TOMORROW!!!! I need help ASAP, I will be unable to travel tomorrow if this is not fixed URGENTLY.
Fully booked seat reservation Norway - Sweden
Hi! I’m travelling through the Nordic countries this summer and I have some issus with booking seat reservation for a leg of the trip.I tried to book reservation Narvik - Gallivare for the 15th of August (ideally the 3.10pm train) on interrail and vy but it seems that the trains are fully booked for a few days. I booked the Inlandsbanan from Gallivare on the 16th so I kind of really need to find a way to go there on the 15th…On interrail, the reservation goes through until last minute (‘review your order” page) where it says “Please try to find an alternative connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart.”On vy the train show fully booked.Do you know if there’s another way to get a reservation? Or an alternate route/way to get there? Or should I continue checking the page in hope of someone cancelling their booking?Also, I saw that acprail still sells ticket at this time so I’m a bit confused (not only reservation through).Thank you in advance for your help!
Is there a way to get a refund for a delayed train from company Mav/Mav start?
I'm currently traveling by train from Bucharest to Budapest and it will have about 2 hours delay. Is there any way to get a refund from the transport company (Mav/Mav start)?Do I need to get a proof of delay by the staff?Thank you for your answers in advance!:)
Disappointing Black Friday Sale - is this it for the year?
As someone who will be staying in France for the next four months, I was disappointed to see that the BF sale did not extend to the the 3 month pass. Does Eurail historically drop an end of year or Christmas sale that normally includes the longer period passes?
Reservation Eurocity Italy-Switzerland
Since 1-2 years it’s no longer possible to make online seat reservations for the Eurocity train connecting Milano Centrale (Italy) and Basel SBB (Switzerland).I called both the Italian and Swiss operator to ask if it is possible to make a reservation on the phone. This was not possible. They also told me that it is not possible to make a seat reservation at the station.Based on what they told me, the Global Pass turns out to be useless for the EC trains. Only option is taking multiple (often delayed) regional trains.Does anyone have the same experience?
Seat reservation in france; Nice - Paris, how to book?
Hi, I have a global pass and I am planning a train trip from Genoa to Paris on July 18th. The trip includes a stopover and using the Interrail booking tool I was able to book the Genoa-Nice route but not the Nice-Paris route. The site tells me this message: "not available from interrail.eu this seat reservation can’t be booked on our website.". How can I book this ticket? I do not live in France and it is not possible for me to go to the station in advance, except on the day of the journey when I arrive in Nice from Genoa, but I am afraid of not finding more seats that can be reserved. The train is the TGV 6162 INOUI at 14:16 on 18 July
Impossible to book seat reservations - no need for Interrail pass
Hi, I have bought a Global Mobile pass (7 trave days/1 month) and was planning to take this route in a few weeks:Gothenburg - Copenhagen - Hamburg - Frankfurt - Marseille - Barcelona Before I bought my pass, the “book reservations” page made it seem like I would be able to book all of the seat reservations with no issues and it showed me the prices too. However - as soon as I had bought my pass and logged in, it started only telling me “Prices unavailable” or “Prices temporarily unavailable” for the latter part of the trip. It doesn’t matter which departure or date I choose. If I go to bahn.com and sncf.com the train tickets I’m interested in are all available, but for a full price. I could buy these instead, but then there’s absolutely no reason for me to have an Interrail pass and I feel like I have poured money down the drain.Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advance.
Interrail valid in Corsica?
Hey guys, I am thinking about using the current Interrail offer. Since I'm planning a vacation in Corsica in the summer anyway, I wanted to ask if you can also use Interrail there, for example from Bastia to Ajaccio? Eurail and the trains in England
For those of you travelling in England, the Eurail pass works on most BritRail lines (including the ThamesLink and the new Elizabeth Line). It does NOT work on the Heathrow Express, despite what’s on the Eurail information. However, the good news is that, with the new Elizabeth line in London, you don’t need the Heathrow Express. The Elizabeth line trains run from Paddington Station to Heathrow often (I think about every 20 minutes) and are wonderful I just travelled from Brighton (on the Thameslink) to Heathrow in a little over 2 ½ hours. For some reason, the Eurail QR code doesn’t work on any of the BritRail scanners, but just go to one of the wonderful station workers and they’ll get you through.
Greek islands are included in Global Pass?
Hello I am travelling to Europe for month and a half in april. I wanted to buy the Global pass of 2 months. The thing is that in my trip I go to Greece and I saw that there is a 6 day Greek Island pass too that give a free ticket from italy to greece and another from greece to italy and discounts on the greek islands. If I buy the global pass, it also includes the benefits of the greek islands one?

Eurail Mobile pass seat reservation problem, PassCoverNumber can't get : Paris - Avignon
How long does it take for Eurail Customer service to provide Pass Cover Number for mobile pass?First time novice holidaying in France. Bought 2 Eurail Mobile Pass hoping to use for the Paris - Avignon trip planned in late May. I’m having problem reserving seats using the Eurail App or the Interrail.eu web site, or the RailEurope web site.There is just no price listed to proceed with the seat reservation. See screen shot below from Eurail. In reading various posts in the forum, it appears having a Pass Cover Number may help to allow to reserve seats. I emailed Eurail Customer Service some 2.5 days ago, also sent a request through this forum, for 2x PassCoverNumber for our 2x Mobile Pass, but so far, haven’t received any info from Eurail, apart from the (not helpful) generic acknowledgement email that “we’ve got your email”…If there is Eurail customer service rep on this forum who could provide me Pass Cover Number, that’d be good. thanks. Eurail Pass validation at Heathrow Airport
My understanding is:(a) Eurailpasses are NOT valid on Heathrow Express(b) as almost always with local suburban rail operators, Eurailpasses are similarly NOT valid on London Underground (‘Tube’) trains (and buses/trams)however:© Eurailpasses ARE VALID on the newly opened Elizabeth Line (Transport for London) between say London Heathrow Airport terminals and Paddington, or elsewhere on the route (though once one tries to connect to the Tube, one would have to have a valid Oyster Pass issued by TfL.(d) Similarly, Eurailpasses “may” be valid on London Overground trains.Is the latter - c and d- correct?If so, where can one have a Paper Eurailpass validated at Heathrow? Will a TfL staffed booking office do it?
Impossibility to acess the app due to IOS 13.0
Hi all,I have a major problem with my Interrail mobile pass. I use the Rail Planner app on my Iphone 6 and everything went well until 3 days ago, when the app was updated and could only be used with an IOS 13.0 version. Unfortunately, I cannot install it on phone. Then, I don’t have access to my app anymore. My pass ends in two weeks and I really need to use it to come back.Has someone experienced the same problem ? If someone could help me find a solution, I will be so grateful !Thanks in advance !
Reservations cannot be booked
Hello, I have a problem because I really need to do some reservations for next week, but the reservation tool on the website doesn't work and I can't do it in the app as well. And I can't do it on any other website nor will I have the time to buy it at the station. The website just does not load or closes itself again and again when I try to write the directions. Can you help me please! It is urgent
What happens when you just miss your train, because you couldn’t find it quick enough? And what about the reservations as well?
Hi,I would like to travel from germany to italy.So I checked out the routes and I have to take multiply trains to reach my destination.But sometimes I have only 5 minutes to switch the trains.In another conversation I read that you can hop on a later train when your previous train was late.But what happens when you just miss your train, because you couldn’t find it quick enough? And what about the reservations as well?Thank you very much, Hannah
Mobile app - not possible to add new journeys
I started travelling today with the interrail mobile app. Although I managed to get it all up and running for the first two legs of the trip, I am having critical issues with the app right now. The problem is that the rail planner does not work anymore: each time I select a departure or destination, the planner resets again so it is impossible to add a new leg to my trip. The FAQ states that it is also possible to add journeys manually, but this option seems to be missing in the app I have (version 19.0.0 om android 10). So in essence it is downright impossible to add any journeys to my pass and thus to get a valid ticket, so I cannot travel any further. How can this be fixed?I also contacted the support via email, but they say they will only answer within 7 days, which I think is pretty long if you are stranded with an app that is not working.
