Hi to everyone! We are a family of 3 & plan to get the EuroRail Pass to cover different countries in Europe. We plan to get 1st class (for cross border routes) & 2nd class (for within the country routes). May I get clarifications & suggestions on the following:If the route does not require seat reservation, will we still need booking or reservation for the trip? Or we can just board the train & choose any seats. In such case, how do we know the seats are not reserved? Can seat reservations be done done online (unless otherwise specified)? There are some routes that require some kind of “tariff or supplemental fee” How much are these generally and where can these fees be seen. There are some routes with limited EuroRail allocation. How can we ensure we can get into such trip using the EuroRail pass. In case you miss the train where you have a seat reservation, can you use it for another time slot? Hi ! I'm wondering if is it possible to join Denmark to Germany by the sea? I don't find trains and ferry in the Rail Planner App. I was thinking that there may be trains / ferries crossing the sea to connect Rodbyhavn to Puttgarden or Gedser to Rostock. Does anyone made this trip and could give me some information on this ?Thanks !
Hi, I have been in contact with the support but to no success. Me and my friends have individual mobilepasses since we will be doing most of the tip together. When I want to add them to the trip and make reservations I need the pass cover number and the issuer. We bought our mobilepasses though this website and the support and other threads have said the same, that you don’t need those just the email. But, the website will not let me make reservations or add the travellers without issuer and pass cover number.We have all contacted the support a few days ago to get our pass cover numbers.How do I do this step by step if I do not need my pass cover number or issuer, like I am supposedly able to?Just FYI, I did click “I purchased my pass on interrail.eu” and followed the septs sent to me by the support.Hope to get some answers soon.
Hello,I live in France and I've bought a one country pass for 3 days in Italy. I've also activated my pass on Rail Planner and it gives me 3 QR codes for 3 trip that I planned. Is that my final tickets or I have to book for reservation?I saw that trains that I'll take needs reservations, but I still don't know how to do the reservations. Hello together,we got a few general questions regarding the reservation-booking. We used the reservation booking tool from interrail but it shows us following message for bookings in denmark:“No results were found for this connection. Please try again or find an alternative booking method.”. If I click on the alternative booking method, there’s either a callcenter provided or it says I have to book it at the trainstation. Is any trainstation meant or the trainstation in denmark where we want to take the train from? Is the callcenter also working for every country or only for switzerland, because there’s written that its especially for switzerland. Is it also working if we just book/buy the reservations short time before the departure or do we have the risk that there’s no space left? Hi all, anyone recently been travelling from Kiato to Pireaus? Can I just hop on board the train with my interrail ticket, without an ekstra ticket for the train? I am arriving shortly before the train departs, so would be nice to know I dont have to look for tickets first.Best regards Karina
Hey guys, hopefully someone can help me. Together with 2 other students we're trying to reserve seats for our trip to Luzern. The seat resevations from FRANKFURT to MULHOUSE are required, but I'm not able to add them to my cart. When I click the 'Zo kun je deze verbinding boeken’ button and fill in the details on bahn.de, this is the result:The current trip is on the 15th of August, leavin Amsterdam at 9:07 AM and arriving in Luzern at 7:05 PM.Can someone please help, we're totally unsure of what to do. Hello Community, recently i have picked my journey from Venice (ITA) to Nice (FRA). I have checked it via eurail webpage, and i have also booked requested reservation for trains in Italia (Frecciarossa 9728 (from Venice to Milano Centrale) and also for FrecciaBianca 909 from Milano Centrale to Ventimiglia).When i tried to add these journeys to my trip, i am not able to find second train in Italia (FrecciaBianca 909) So currently i have Ticket in railplanner app + reservation from Venice to Milan, Then i have Reservation from Milan to Ventimiglia, and then i have ticket in railplanner app from Ventimiglia to Nice (reservation here is not required).Please can you help me how can i add a ticket to railplanner app for part of my journey from Milan to Ventimiglia? Or what should i do to have proper documents ready?It would be good if somebody can help me before Wednesday 21.7.Thanks in advance.Br,Pavol.
Hey, I‘m struggling on booking seat reservations for the TGV in France. I‘m on the Website of french railway and clicked the Box „Seat reservation (I already have a pass)“ but when I continue I can only book complete tickets. Where can I book Seat reservations only? I want to go from Paris to Marseille and from Nice to Paris. Thanks in advance!
Good evening! This is my current issue: 5 friends of mine and I have booked our Interrail passes within 3 different orders. Now we're having difficulties at booking for our train seats. We've already duplicated the trip in order to join and book altogether but when it comes to the actual booking action (selecting the trains for 6 people ect) it claims to be unavailable. When I book for me and other 3 friends (we've bought our Interrail passes within the same order) it is possible to do that. How can we solve it?
Hello Everyone, I have a question and maybe you can help me with it. I want to use the Night-Train from Wien to Brasov tomorrow, 19.07, and did not take into account, that it is smart to book those at least a week a head. Now, is it possible to book an e-ticket with a paperpass? If I print it I have it as paper! Also, I tried to book the reservation with both the App and on the website, but when I type in when and from where to where I want to travel and click of search, there is a pop-up, which tells me to fill in the numbers of traveler’s before continuing. The only thing is: I can’t find the field to do so! Do you guys have any ideas? Thank you before hand Yours Zoé
It is very unfortunate that TGV LYRIA is charging outrageously expensive prices for the journey from Bellegarde (FR) to Geneva (CH)Paris - Bellegarde = 10 euros (1st class and 2nd class)Paris - Geneva = 27 euros (2nd class) and 57 euros (!) euros (1st class)For a ride of +- 30 minutes such a big price difference ... between Bellegarde - Geneva.
If you travel 1st class (also interrail), you can choose your seat on the TGV, normally.Due to the fact that SNCF no longer makes it possible to book domestic train journeys online in France for Interrail, I (temporarily? ) have the following question:If you contact the call center of SNCB INTERNATIONAL in Belgium, 0.30 euros/min(!) , would they also be able to book the desired seat or not?I think I've done it once, but it took a lot of effort.
I have logged into my account on eurail.com and want to make seat reservations except the self reservation tool doesn’t appear. Every time I load the page it shows up with the instructions to “use the timetable below” to make the reservation except that said timetable doesn’t appear. I have searched all over the website and can’t seem to find the tool. Am I doing something wrong? Will it only appear within three hours of a trip I’ve added to my pass? For reference I am using an iPhone and have tried both on safari and google chrome to no avail.
I have been trying both on the website and the app to book reservations but I can’t add a traveller.I have reached out to the customer service several days ago but no one got back to me and now my depart is imminent. Why is there no way to contact anyone about this??
Hi, I am trying to make a reservation for the nighttrain from Paris, Austerlitz to Port Bou (Spain) for the 4th of Aug. via the reservation tool, however it says that it is not possible anymore to make reservations via the tool.Same counts for our travel back home when I try to book Barcelona - Paris Gare de Lyon (17th of Aug)…Should I call to sncf or renfe or can this be solved otherwise?
