Hello,I would like to know if the ferry between Bari and Dubrovnik is included in the interrail pass or not. Also, I would like to know how to check whether a ferry is included in the interrail pass or not.If so, do I need to make a ticket reservation for that trip? How is it done?Best regards,Ricardo Andrade
I have a global pass for 6 weeks aiming to visit 12 cities. 3 of them journeys require a seat reservations ticket which are all showing temporarily closed or sold out. What is the likely hood that we will be able to get a ticket on the day from the station that will give us a seat? Or how else can we reserve a seat, can you send me a pass number?
On 25 June I'll take the train from Zurich HB to Amsterdam Centraal, at 20:15. I've purchased the seat reservation on the DB website, and on the pdf file I've received it says that my train is called "IC60402" and it will arrive at 9:20am on 26 june. ButThe DB navigator app shows "ic60402 / nj402" and it says it arrives to Amsterdam at 9:20am.Yet the Interrail app shows only "nj402" and it says it reaches Amsterdam at 9:14amAnd the obb website shows two different trains but with same details except for the train name. My question is: are the ic60402 and the nj402 the same train with different names (or something like that)?I'll explain my doubt better: can I use the qr code (on the interrail app) for that nj train that arrives at 9:14amORshould I add my trip with the ic60402 manually? (since on the interrail app, just updated, my precise trip is not showed yet) Please help me to understand, thank you!
My friend and I want to go from Munich to Rome on the 28.08. for which date we also found a train. It first goes from Munich to BOLOGNA CENTRALE. I just saw that online it says that the train can't drive from Innsbruck Hbf to Brennero/Brenner and therefore there will be Busses for that distance.Would you still recommend that train/route or should I look for another one?
Hi there,Currently facing similar issues with many others. I am trying to book 2 seat reservations for 18 July Lyon Part-Dieu → Aix-en-Provence TGV (14:04 - 15:30) train via travel.b-europe since Eurail’s internal site states that the reservations are unavailable. However, I cannot proceed with the booking since I do not have a pass cover number since I am using a mobile pass.I have already contacted customer support, but I understand that there are long wait times that may drag for weeks, so I am hoping someone can provide me the pass cover number! Will need it urgently to confirm accommodations and other travel plans.
My train itinerary would be: 21:28WIENER NEUSTADT HBF (Austria)0h 7mChange trains21:35WIENER NEUSTADT HBF (Austria)7h 7mEN 40456Euro NightI am heading towards Warsaw, and I have to pay for a cabin so I am terrified I will miss the train and lose my money. Does anyone know if I would be taking a huge risk booking this train? Thanks in advance!
Sorry for spamming the community as I just asked a question a few mins ago. Here’s another question: I’m looking at the train from Zurich HB to Wien Hbf departing tonight, and I found that the timetables of OeBB and Rail Planner app are not consistent:OEBB: NJ467 Departing from ZURICH HB at 20:40 today (31.05) whereas Rail planner APP (already updated to the latest version): Departing from ZURICH at 21:40 today (NO train departing at 20:40): I guess the rail planner one is wrong? How should i activate and reserve the ticket when I couldn’t find the correct train on the RAIL PLANNER timetable? Cheers,Terry
Hi! I’m travelling through the Nordic countries this summer and I have some issus with booking seat reservation for a leg of the trip.I tried to book reservation Narvik - Gallivare for the 15th of August (ideally the 3.10pm train) on interrail and vy but it seems that the trains are fully booked for a few days. I booked the Inlandsbanan from Gallivare on the 16th so I kind of really need to find a way to go there on the 15th…On interrail, the reservation goes through until last minute (‘review your order” page) where it says “Please try to find an alternative connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart.”On vy the train show fully booked.Do you know if there’s another way to get a reservation? Or an alternate route/way to get there? Or should I continue checking the page in hope of someone cancelling their booking? Also, I saw that acprail still sells ticket at this time so I’m a bit confused (not only reservation through).Thank you in advance for your help!
Hello to all,I have problems to book different trains on the interrail website. For example, I'm planning to travel from Berlin to Gdansk on July 31st. When I enter the information on the website, I can't make a reservation. It is marked on all the routes: Prices unavailableNo fares were found for this route. Passholder seats may be sold out. Search for another route or see "More Information" for other booking options. If Pass seats are sold out, you will need to purchase a full-fare ticket for this route.I should point out that I could normally book them as they can be booked two months in advance. What should I do?Thank you for your help.
Hi all,I am thinking of buying the 1st class Interrail ticket for Italy. Does anyone know which class it actually corresponds to in Italian trains? As I can see some Trainlines offer classes like premium, business and executive.Or does the 1st class Interrail ticket make you eligible to book any of those classes and the difference will be evident in the reservation fee?Regards, Maroben
If my research is correct, there used to be connections from Zagreb to Belgrade (and Budapest to Belgrade) not long that ago. Does anybody living in one of those countries have any idea what is going one with those railways? Is it under construction, and if so, is that a matter of months or years? Or are they just closed off never to be used again? Thank you!
Budapest - Prague Night train reservation on MAV (Hungarian website) - no interrail discount available
I am trying to make a reservation from Budapest to Prague by the night train. On the Hungarian website MAV, when I added the interrail pass to my train cards, the price for a 2nd class seat reads 58.9EUR, and i believe there is no discount at all (the same price as without the interrail pass): (btw what is this 57.9eur “europa flex cz” thing? there is no way to deselect it.) I tried to book on the CZ website as well, but there is no 2nd class seat option. So how do i correctly reserve a 2nd class seat for the Budapest - Prague night train? Cheers, Terry
Howdy I’m seeking informatin regarding the current strikes in France. On the thalys website I can find information regarding the trains that I’m planning to take tomorrow (very convenient that they strike the day prior) However, regarding my follow-up SNCF trains I can not find any information on their website, or on their app. Please tell me I won’t have to call them again and wait for hours in the waiting line.. thanks
I have booked reservation using Global Interrail passes to take a night train from Nice to Genova. I have been charged 122 euro for first class travel but have been issued second class tickets at 3 euros. There are 7 of us travelling. I had intended to book the first class berths. I am assuming the berths are sold out and have been allocated the seats. Is it straight forward to receive the difference for the incorrect payment?
Hey everybody, since one can only use their global pass to leave and enter their homecountry ONCE, I was wondering if the following scenario is possible: Can I travel from Zürich (Switzerland) to Salzburg (Austria) using trains traversing Germany (my homecountry)? And if that was the case, could I furthermore exit the train in Munich, recording in my Interrail pass like I went to Salzburg all the way. And continue my journey several days after from Salzburg? (I would defininetly not be doing that if it was possible 😉 ) Thank you for your answers and have a great day :)
Hi, i’m planning a trip through multiple countries (Austria, Germany and Italy). When planning out my train schedule in “book reservations” for trains “included” in my pass I’m sometimes met with:1) “You’re ready to board” 2) an extra cost (example: for a night train (nightjet) from Cologne to Vienna) 3) “You're ready to board, You can buy a seat reservation if you like but it's not required.” 4) “+ Additional supplement required, You will need to pay an extra supplement at the station or on board the train.”I’m wondering what these mean exactly.Does “1)” mean i don’t need a reservation or anything else and can just show up and hop on at the station ?If I pay the extra cost for “2)”, I will be sent an electronic ticket. Is that enough in combination with my pass to board the train ?For “3)”, how do I know if a seat reservatiion is necessary (to avoid finding no seat on a full train)? And just to make sure, for “4)”, Am I right for thinking the ticket person will just ask me to pay a
Hii, I hope I can contact someone via this way. Because my friend and I are experiencing some problems. On July 10th we are going form Ljubljana to Split with a stop in Zagreb. 8:30-21:30. But when we want to book reservations for these trains which is required. It says that there are none available. How can we still book seat reservations? Is there another way? I hope to receive a reaction as soon as possible! Kind regards Nina
Hi, as written in the title, I tried booking Seat Reservations for me and my friends (all Global Pass in paper form). Besides the extremly long loading times on the Interrail.com reservation page, I was most of the time unable to book any trains as all of them were labeled as “Prices temporarily unavailable.” Does this mean these trains are simply fully booked (at least for Interrail travellers) or is this just an extremely annoying bug of the website.
