Hello,We had a reservation from Budapest to Bucharest on the 13th of July, departing 19:10 from Budapest. . We had two tickets in a private compartment (2 people), however in the train the supervisor told us that the carriage was broken and we travelled in a four people compartment, despite we paid the full price for the 2-people option. Is there any possibility to ask for a compensation/refund, given that we travelled in a category different from the reservation? Thanks and regards
Hello,I am trying to book from Brussels to Prague. All segments of this trip show as “ Ready to Board” however one segment shows “ You do not need a reservation but you can buy if you like” but then it also says that I cannot buy reservation seats since they are all sold out - What does this mean? Can we just show up there and board the train despite not having seat reservation? Or we just cannot take this train? All segments of this trip on the website is showing in green as “ Ready to Board” Pls guide. ThanksSatbeer
Hey! Me and my partner are doing interrail for one month in August. Our mistake was while booking our seat reservations for the trains we did it seperately and only realised afterwards that we are seated very far from each other which is not how we imagined it to be. Canceling the reservation via website is not possible if you want refund. Is there any way we can still change it so we sit next to each other or at least in the same wagon? Thank you
When I called SNCF for a seat reservation I found out that my EU Visa card is not accepted. I was told that only American Express and French cards are accepted. As far as i know this is not legal. I also read somewhere that Visa cards are accepted. Is this normal or they just made up an excuse to not give seat reservations? Did it happen to you?
Hi, I’ve bought a interrail pass to go on Vacation to Italy. My plan was to take a night train from Amsterdam to Zuerich and use the same connection to go back. The train is run by the Night Jet as well as by the DB as an IC connection. I wanted to book the seat reservation but for both trains, the option was not available anymore. However, when I tried to book on the Deutsche Bahn app, the trains were available without any seat reservation necessary. Is it necessary to even buy a seat reservation for these trains then, if they would also be considered IC connections that apparently do not require a seat reservation? I really wanna take the night train connections as those are the fastest and most convienent. Could I just board the train then without making a seat reservation? I hope someone can help! And thanks in advance!! :-)
I’m planning to travel from Prague to Budapest next month via night train and have made a reservation for a sleeper cabin.I’ve got my paper ticket through the post and it says ‘Gentleman T3’ for the cabin - I’m a female traveller and I read online that sleeper cabins were all female or all male? Does anyone know if this is meant to be the case and my ticket is a mistake? Thanks!
Seat Reservation from Hamburg to Copenhagen. Conflicting information in app and web on whether reservation is required
I am using a mobile app and have booked seat reservations for all the journeys that the app required them for a couple of months ago. The app has no way of allowing me to book a reservation from Hamburg to Copenhagen, but I wanted to book one for ease of mind, but it just says a seat reservation is not required. However, when I use the interrail website, it says that I must book a reservation but will not allow me to do so. I cannot seem to do it through DB or DSB either. Do you know how I might be able to book one? Many thanks
Hey, im going on my first interrail the August, and om looking for the seat reservations. I do feel like some reservationen go quite high in price compared to others? Ex. i have a reservation form Copenhagen til Hamburg for 4 Euros, and then an other from Brussel to Paris for 26 Euros? I think it runs up really fast, it that's the normal prices? or am I doing something wrong? :-) Hope someone have an answer.
Hi! I am travveling with the nightjet from Utrecht te Basel and in Basel change to the train to Milan. We only have a 8 minute tranfser time to get our direct train. A later train will take 2 or 3 changes.. is 8 minutes madness? Do nightjet trains normally arrive on time or with short delay? Tx!
