Hello, I am planning to do interrailing from Roma to Vienna, Vienna to Warsaw, Warsaw to Prague, Prague to Budapest and Budapest to Roma (Via Vienna). I would like to know if there can be any better route planner for this above itinerary? Also, when I checked for Vienna to Warsaw night train, The DBB or Interrail is not showing any trails but Poland Railway website is showing a direct night train (no stops). Can I book the seat reservation from their website? Thank you
I understand one can only reserve the Bosphorus Express at Istanbul’s two train stations. Even if we can only arrive to the station on the day, is it almost certain that there will be places for us. And are all tickets sold on this train for beds (we want to make sure any night trains we go on have beds to sleep in instead of just sitting) How many people are usually in each cabin?
Hello everyone! Is there a way to find out the structure of the train seats, or at the least the structure of the train carriage seats? Or is there a site for this? In some cases (DB, ČD) there’s no problem to choose from the train map and just click on the available seats and you know exactly which seats you’ll be sitting on. But in some other cases (DSB, SJ) I can just see the carriage number and the seat numbers that are there. But I can’t see if it’s in a coupe or if we’re sitting in a row of 3 seats or if we are sitting by the table... Is there some way to find this out? Thank you for your answers!
My husband and I are visiting Spain in a few weeks and want to travel by train between a few cities within the country. Will we need Covid tests to enter a new city each time we board a train? I know we need a test to enter the country, but once we are in Spain we will be staying in the country just moving between cities.
Good day all. We are a family of 5 traveling just one day from Carcassone to Barcelona. Can anyone pls tell me the best way to purchase this? This is our first trip to Europe and we only need the one way train ticket. Do we still need a rail pass for this or can we just buy the one way train tickets? Thanks!
Hello all,My names Ben, I’ve lived in America all my life but this coming fall I’m studying abroad in Norwich, England. I really want to see as much of Europe as I can while I’m in England for 3 months and don’t really know the best way to do it. I think the Eurail pass would be a good option for me with the flexibility it will provide but have also read online it sometime can not be worth the price. I would love any advice if anyone has some! Thanks!
Lost IPOds on 4-7-2022 from Viareggio, Italy to Lucca. Last train of the night to Lucca, Italy. Train # RE18641 which is currently in the Lucca station. We lost a pair of IPODs and tracked it back to the train. The station is closed and we are unable to get into he train. Is there anyway to find out when that train departs so we can get on it and find them?
Just wanted to let others know that it’s extremely hard to get anywhere by train in Turkey right now. I had no problems getting the sleeper from Sofia to Istanbul the day of, and the train was half empty. But you can’t BUY a ticket, much less get a reservation, for over a week on any of the routes I’ve checked across the country unless you’re in a wheelchair. Many of the routes say they have one seat open, but when you check it’s only for wheelchair users. Some of the routes like Ankara to Kar are booked up for almost two weeks. So if you plan to come to Turkey, do your reservations as far our as possible. The website to check tickets is https://ebilet.tcddtasimacilik.gov.tr/
Hi lads I was hoping that anyone who has traveled in the last month or is currently travelling could answer this question. My sister and I are going interrailing in august and both of us are fully vaccinated. So I was wondering do we need booster vaccines or are countries even still very strict on vaccines atm. I have covid atm so if they require boosters would a proof of recovery be okay too ? Any help would be appreciated
