Hi,I was planning on several days of train travel and got really unlucky as it was the same days as the recent German train strikes! I’d like to if possible extend my pass by a couple days or at least one, as all my travel plans got pushed back and now I would have to pay for the last days of my trip. I contacted Twitter and got a quick response but they didn’t quite get it, I didn’t need extra trip vouchers but rather an extension of the last date I can use a pass on. it would be really great to get an answer on how likely this is before Sunday because otherwise I cannot plan. Does the community think this is a realistic/reasonable request or should I give up and ‘eat the loss’? Thanks, cheers!
I have reserved several train seats as I know that that is the train I want to take however there are several days I want to travel to places and NOT reserve seats as some do not allow for seat reservations. I am not sure of the exact train I will be taking and have several times to choose from. When I load the trip into Eurail I have to put a date and time but do I have to be on that time train or can it be any time train that day?
I’m traveling first time to Europe and booked for transportation between European cities through eurail, the number of travel days is 10. 1. In a single travel day, can a use the train as much as I wanna? Are there a specific Train Company I could use or I can use all companies?tabjs thanks for your assistance in advance
Hello, I would be interested in knowing how much a berth costs on the night interrail? I say this because it says that a bunk bed is in a 4-seater compartment: it is €41, and I don't know if that is a bunk bed or 4 bunk beds.Besides, it says that with the reservation of the first class seat you get a bunk, and I don't know if that's the case, why then for €5 do I get a bunk for myself?
Hello! My husband I were booked on the night train from Stockholm to Narvik last night. Upon boarding we were told that due to some issue to the tracks we would have to get off in Lulea and board train 96 to Narvik. We are here in the station now, but don’t leave until 10:00. My question is this: how do we know which seats are ours on the new train? There was no information provided, and there is no one working here in the station. Any ideas or help?
The March 28 paris-Lourdes train booked using Eurail pass was canaeled due to a strike and replaced by the next day'train at the impormationdesk at the Montparnas station. But there was no seats on the replacement train. My husband and I paid 44€ for the seat reservation.I'd like to request a refund on this deposit.

I booked a seat on the NJ 468 for the night train from Vienna to Paris. I hold a Global Pass second class pass and was not guided to the seat type at the time of booking and paid an additional $23.44 to reserve a seat. Are these seats sleep cabins? Or is it another type of seat?
Can I start from one station, travel to another station a couple of hours away, spend a few hours in that place and then return by train to another station that was on the first route - and do this as one day of travel? And if you can do this , how and when do you load up the two journeys? Thank you.
Hi everyone,Hope you are all well and that someone might be able to help. We are travelling via Eurostar into Paris, spending a few days in Paris/Disneyland before travelling to Switzerland. We then come back into Paris for an overnight stay before returning home. My husband and I are vaccinated and had Covid over Christmas. My elder son has had one vaccination and recovered from Covid (twice!) and my younger son is 10 and whilst not eligible for a vaccination yet, has also recovered from Covid. My understanding is that, in addition to the above, we will need to show negative tests upon entering Paris from the UK but that our vaccination status is sufficient for Switzerland. Will we need to arrange tests whilst in Switzerland in order to go back into Paris to return home the following day?Any advice is gratefully received! Thanks, Laura and Chris
It’s been on the news that franz is closing its borders to UK travelers. But I just read on France 24 news that they are also banning travel from France into England for nonessential purposes such as travel or family visits. first of all can anyone confirm that? Second I’m booked with Euro store on Monday but I’m wondering about trying to go Saturday instead. I assume it’ll have to just lose the other reservation fee and book a new train?
As an Interrail traveller, are I entitled to reimbursement of costs if a train is cancelled for a reserved train? On our last Interrail journey, this happened to us twice due to strikes in France and Germany. In France we were not informed in advance and only found out on the train that the train was not travelling to Barcelona but only to Perpignan (the strike was regional only there). To avoid getting stranded in Perpignan in the evening, we took the Flixbus to Barcelona. Afterwards, I applied to SNCF for compensation for the cost of the Flixbus plus the taxi in Barcelona (it was 2am on arrival instead of the planned 9.30pm), but both my electronic and paper mail requests were ignored. As a customer, I find this very unsatisfactory as we paid for the Interrail ticket as well as for the expensive seat reservation on the TGV (36€ per person). It worked better with Deutsche Bahn. The situation was similar, but at least they gave us a voucher for the amount of the extra costs. As the trav
I am traveling with my family to Europe, We will be 15 days on vacation and we are taking 4 trains Toulosse - BarcelonaBarcelona - MadridMadrid or Burgos - ParisParis - LondonDo you think it is worth buying Eurail Pass or better to buy the passes separately (Renfe , Eurostar etc)Thank you for your answers
So, has these restrictions now caused no travel between the two countries? So, if I just purchased tickets on yesterday through Eurostar, I can't get my money back at all? I am a US citizen as I was trying to celebrate my anniversary there. Am I reading this correctly??? Please help ????
I am wanting to travel somewhere next year. I don’t mind where, I just want to catch a long distance train that is most suitable for my needs. I am hoping your can guide me on what is available and best suits my needs. I live with multiple sclerosis and use a mobility device to get around. I am terrified that my mobility device will tip during the long trips and would like to know if there is anything available to secure my device during my trip. I am very comfortable in my mobility device and will stay in it for the duration of the trip. I would also like to travel with my partner. And he can assist me with my needs. What is the best train and service for my needs?
We will travel from Madrid to Paris, then from Paris to Amsterdam. We don’t need a Global Pass, but I where can I buy the tickets to travel to that destinations? The mobile app shows me the prices but there is no option to buy the ticket. Thanks
