Florence - Vienna Nightjet summer 2023

Hi! Just started organising our trip and were looking into night trains from Florence-Vienna. However, there appears to be no availability at all throughout July and August. Are these all booked out or do the trains simply not run at this time?Thanks for any help!

Reserving Istanbul Bucharest Train

I understand one can only reserve the Bosphorus Express at Istanbul’s two train stations. Even if we can only arrive to the station on the day, is it almost certain that there will be places for us. And are all tickets sold on this train for beds (we want to make sure any night trains we go on have beds to sleep in instead of just sitting) How many people are usually in each cabin?

We are seniors and will travel from Utrecht (Netherlands) to Rome and back.We have booked our tickets with the Global Pass.But it turns out impossible to book beds and seats.OBB sent us back to Interrail to book the beds we need.What to do???

Change journey or not?

Hi my dear fellow Interrailers, I have a question:I already planned and activated my journey from Hamburg to France and back. I wanted to go from Paris to Mannheim with the ICE and researved seats, but now I’d rather go one stop further to Frankfurt. Do you think I have to delete my journey plan and activate the new ticket or is it possible just to keep sitting this one stop in the ICE, even if I have to stand for the one station? Since I’m travelling with my kids and have several trains on the day before Paris I’m not so keen on deleting an re-activating everything.Thanks for your comments :)Nadia

Do I need to have tickets using my Europass if reservations aren't required

I’m travelling next month across Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. We’ve purchased our Euro pass but I need to know if we still need to print tickets for legs that don’t require reservations. For instance, travelling between Vienna and Salzburg.I just don’t want to get onto a train only to find out that we needed a printed ticket before boarding even though we have a 5-day pass.Can anyone help???

Connection between TALLINN and PRAGUE is missing

Hi everyone! I am a new Interrail user and I need your help!I am planning my first Interrail experience but I am having troubles in finding connections between Tallinn and Prague. I have read that the app might not be updated and that the Baltic regions might not have inserted the train timetables on the Interrail webpage. My question is: If I book the train connection (Tallinn-Prague) on a national rail webpage (Omio), will it be included in my Interrail ticket or will I have to pay extra for it? How do I do?(As both Tallinn and Prague are Interrail destinations) THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!

How much does a bed cost on the interrail ?

Hello, I would be interested in knowing how much a berth costs on the night interrail? I say this because it says that a bunk bed is in a 4-seater compartment: it is €41, and I don't know if that is a bunk bed or 4 bunk beds.Besides, it says that with the reservation of the first class seat you get a bunk, and I don't know if that's the case, why then for €5 do I get a bunk for myself?

Hello,This summer I will be traveling through Greece. However, the train schedules are only a week up front in the interrail app and website. How can I book my trains and use my pass on them even after the start date of my trip when I cannot edit the route in the app anymore?I tried booking with Hellenic train directly, however there is no option for interrail as far as I could see.Would someone be able to give me some tips and tricks? We are boarding the 20.28 nightjet from Amsterdam to Zurich tomorrow and wondered what is the earliest you can board the train? We have a bunch of kids so hope to get them settled in their bunks as early as possible. Any advice welcomed, thanks

What documents do I need to complete for travel?

I am travelling to France, Italy and Greece (with a short changeover in Switzerland) and have been using the Gov.uk website to check the entry requirements of my destinations and which documents and forms I need to have for travel. Italy and Greece seem to have minimal entry requirements whereas France seems to require a health pass and an EUPLF. The health pass is fulfilled with proof of covid vaccination which I can provide. But I am still confused about the PLF, do I need to fill it out if I am travelling by train because information on some websites suggests it’s only required for air travel but I have found other websites saying it is needed for all travel? I’m also not certain on whether I need to complete it right now, or if I would get the chance to fill it out as and when it’s required.Can somebody help me figure out what the requirements are please?! (and if there are any other forms for me to fill out prior to travelling to ensure a smooth crossing then please let me know!)T

Is Eurail our best option?

Hi, we are a group of 6 ladies (50+) planning our European adventure and trying to decipher the rail ticketing system.Our itinerary is Amsterdam - Bruges - Paris - Strasbourg - Chur (Bernini Express) - Milan (via Tirano) - Venice.We will have a set itinerary.Looking at April/May 2024.I am so confused by all I have read with the pro’s & cons of Eurail passes versus individual tickets.Some of our concerns are limited reservations available, difficulty in booking, getting seats together etcAny advice would be gratefully received.Thank you in advance.

We did not receive the tickets ordered by post.

Important!We created and paid for an order for seats that was supposed to be sent to the hotel (Hotel Wivel Narvik - Norway), but the post office in Narvik told us that the shipment would not arrive until 29.12.2022. And our tickets are for 27.12.2022 and 28.12.2022. We absolutely need to know the reserved seats in the trains in order to continue our journey. The other trains are hopelessly sold out. We have hotels and other trains paid for.What should we do?

outbound/inbound: used already all days

Hi,i have a global pass for 4 days within a month. I travel from Amsterdam to Salzburg (and back of couse). I travel on 4 different days. I have 3 outbound/inbound days for the Netherlands. What about the 4th day that i travel in the Netherlands? If i book a 4th journey, e.g. from Salzburg to Amsterdam, can i book it uninterrupted or just untill Emmerich in Germany? What’s is the best policy?Thanks, Jan

Seat reservation Bratislava - Warsaw not possible

Hello!We have a problem with booking our seats for the Bratislava-Warsaw train. The website seems to be broken, we can't book them on there. We've also been to the train station but they said there are some technical difficulties. The train is tommorow and despite trying many times we can't book the seats. And it's required for that train. What do we do in this situation? Can we just hop on the train without the reservation and hope that the conductor will be understanding?thanks in advance :]
