Hi, I am attempting to activate a digital ticket to travel on a Trenord service. All the advice I have refers to a 14 digit code, although the Trenord App infers 15 digits (in a 5+10 format), but nothing I have on my order corresponds to this. Can anyone help, please. I am due to travel on 28 November, which is the day of another Italian rail strike, and that is another problem I will have to sort out. Kind RegardsMichael

Hi! Me and a group of friends are planning to go interrailing for two months in April and May 2026 and wanted to buy our passes with the current Black Friday sale. I know in past years there have been some restrictions/limits on when you could activate the pass or when it has to be used by. I haven’t been able to find anything like that for this year so just wanted to know if there were any and if so would it work for our trip. Thank you! :)

Hi all. I’m trying to calculate if it’s worth using my Interrail pass on a trip from Buchs SG (Switzerland) to Milano (Italy), or just paying for a ticket. I go to the SBB.CH website and enter the details, and it shows me the departures, and some of them have a little black “% from CHF 44” sign on them. I understand this means a super-saver price, but every journey I choose, and for any date I’ve tried (including 1 or 2 months in advance), the lowest price shown is 50-75% higher than the super-saver price initially displayed. Am I doing something wrong? Or are these fares only available for 1 or 2 seats on each train, and always booked weeks in advance? Thanks.

Certo?Ou seja a ser assim, 5 dias, ou mesmo 7 dias na verdade não para ir muito longe! Porque dando aqui uma voltinha por portugal, a mesma leva mais ou menos por volta de 7 horas! Depois voltar, está o dia passado e nem sai de Portugal!Ou estou a fazer confusão, ou este passe é uma ilusão?

The only option for my seat reservation is ‘Delivered by post’ but the app says that the tickets cannot be delivered to my address in time.  How do I change this to a ‘print at home’ ticket?  I urgently need to make this booking as it’s for a sleeper train and the couchettes sell out very quickly.  How can I get my reservation made if the app won’t allow me to and I am doing this all in good time, so it’s not my fault?  Thanks in advance.

How do I book an e-ticket for my sleeper train reservation through the app??!!  There is no option to select mobile pass, but the app says I am unable to get a paper ticket to my address.  I need to make this reservation URGENTLY as it is a sleeper train and it may get sold out. Please help!  How do I make this reservation, the app will not move past the address screen because it says the ticket cannot be delivered to my address.  I don’t want a paper ticket, I want an e-ticket or mobile pass.  What do I do?

We have booked a trip from Prague to krakow and for some reason it keeps saying it’s adding a day and the trip taking 29 hours    has anyone seen this before?  We have removed it and tried it again but doesn’t seem to change  we don’t want to be charged for two days on the pass thank you!!  

Hi everyone, as I’m starting to plan next years travels I’m wondering about the value of getting a pass vs normal tickets for a teenager under 14.This year I just assumed that it would be worthwhile for my 12 year old son as it was for me, but then looking on the individual train companies, I realized that more often than not, he could have traveled for free, being with a parent, so I came to wonder how this is handled in every European country.Switzerland (my country of residence): kids under 16 can get a Junior Card (30 CHF for one year) and then travel for free if the accompanying parent has a valid ticket (Interrail pass included, at least that’s what a ticket inspector told me) Germany: kids under 14 travel for free with a parent, but have to be registered on the ticket (so as far as I understand not possible with an Interrail Pass).  Austria: same as in Germany but the age limit is 15 Italy: seems to differ from region and train type, but for example in Lombardy under 14yo travel

Is there a reason why some Polish trains are not yet updated in the app? I am trying to travel between Cracow and Prague on December 15, but no trains show. On the Deutsch Bahn and Oebb websites, there are numerous trains. I have also been able to record trains between Warsaw and Cracow so it’s not that all Polish trains are missing. Any idea when these trains will be added? (And yes, I’ve added the train manually, but I would rather be using an actual ticket not a manual entry.)

I’m trying to go from Amsterdam Centraal (or Zaandam) to Coutances, France. I’m trying book for the day after tomorrow 11/23. I understand seats possibly running out due to how late I’m booking. But no matter how far in advance I check for seat reservations (this photo shows 11/28) every route I check which has Paris to Lison gives me an error code of E0620.  Is this the systems way of trying to tell me that they’re out of seats without actually saying it?

Hi, I understand that the pass is the ticket but I do not understand how the pass knows if there is still space on the train. For example, I want to travel from Annecy to Munich. I will have to stop off in Annemasse, Geneva and Zurich. Some of these journeys say "booking recommended". So the booking is not obligatory. But what if I confirm the entire trip, get to Zurich and want to create the ticket for the Zurich - Munich stretch and the app tells me " sorry there is no more space on this train" ? Even on trains that do not require any booking. I guess that if the train is full, the ticket machine or person does not sell you a ticket...? So is that not the same for interrail? Or does the app kind of create a seat for me when I confirm the trip? Even if I have not paid for a seat? I have not taken many trains before 😅

Hi. I am trying to book a reservation to my journey on a train with my Global Pass Plus from Colmar to Lauterbrunnen. I keep getting errors. Attached are two images. One image is the original error when I would almost finish the booking process. The second image is what I believe the issue might be. There seems to be an issue with the Basel to Spiez leg of the portion? Based on that blue highlighted message, I should be ok to travel on this route without a reservation as long as I have my pass? This is the first time I’ve run into issues when planning for my trip. The Colmar route starts at 11:23 and arrives in Lauterbrunnen at 14:56 on Dec 20th if needed. There is a short transfer at Spiez but from what I can tell, the transfer is from 2 to 3 which is an adjacent platform so 3 minutes should be ok? Thank you for the help. 

I want to use night train at 12/25 and 12/27, round trip from Stockholm to Kiruna. In the website of SJ, selling of tickets of night train in this Winter, so I will be able to reserve tickets. But in this website: Eurail, I can’t search these tickets. How and when can I get these reservation?I want to use Eurail pass Sweden version. Please help. Sorry for my poor English.

Hi, not my first time traveling by train, but it is the first time seeing this message for the place I have a hotel booked right by the train station. I’m un able to book seat reservations between Zurich and Innsbruck and this message shows at the top. The high speed trains I was looking at taking appear to be heading other places than Italy, will the Budapest, and Croatia high speed trains be stopping in Innsbruck or should I take it as a bad sign that they aren’t offering seat reservations yet. I’m coming from Freiberg Im Breisgau in Germany, should I be thinking about a different destination other than Innsbruck...we wanted the Austria alp, sledding day trips, and winter experience. My wife purchased Eurorail pass for the both of us.  Do I need to create a separate account to access?  

Hello everyone.I live in Canada and I need some help here.On 26-OCT I booked a sleeper for two people using my Eurail Global Pass through RailEurope.com. The train I booked is the InterCityNotte number 797 from Trenitalia leaving Milano on 07-JAN at 22h18 and arriving Napoli Centrale next morning at 08h46. My credit card was charged and I received email confirmations from RailEurope and Trenitalia, with my reservation attached to those emails.The problem I am experiencing is that this train disappeared from Trenitalia timetable, as if it wasn’t running any more on January 7th. I haven’t received any email neither from RailEurope nor from Trenitalia to inform me that the train was canceled. I would like to know if it’s “normal” a train that was selling tickets disappear from the timetable or if I have to start to think about another train itinerary to get to Napoli. Thank you in advance Marcelo 

Recently we ended up (lost bag, found bag, missed flight, long story) getting an SNCF Intercites du Nuit sleeper at short notice.Because our plans only came together 40 or 50 minutes before the train was due we were unable to buy the reservation online.  Because there were no staffed ticket desks we were unable to buy the reservation in person.  There were SNCF staff in the station halls, but none with the ability to sell a reservation.  This was Cannes on a busy Sunday evening and not some tiny station with 1 train an hour.We were advised to wait until the train arrived and buy a reservation from the conductor.  Obviously this would only work if there was space available.  If there wasn’t any space we were happy enough to stay in Cannes overnight.  So, we waited.The train arrived and we approached the conductor to establish if there was space.  He confirmed there was and we asked to buy the reservation.  He began issuing the ticket.Or so we thought.The whistle blew and he was about to

Hello. I'm starting my trip in Palermo on December 1st. After I entered my schedule into the app, I checked the image and it showed my trip starting on December 2nd. I was supposed to take a sleeper train to Milan on December 1st (departing at 12:58), but it seems to have been removed from my schedule. It also seems like the total kilometers traveled has been omitted from the calculation. I hope this will be fixed in an app update.
