Hi there, After planning based on the interrail rail map, we were planning on catching the train from Budapest to Belgrade. It says on the map that this is a 7hr30 day train. However, I cannot find it on the rail planner, yet it doesn’t says that Serbian trains should be available on the app. Furthermore, when i try to google the train I can’t find anything. The same issue occurs from the train from Belgrade to Sofia… Please can someone explain whether we can take these trains, and if so how/where do we book them? Thank you!

I have put both IR passes on my iPhone. No problem but it is easier to put one pass on my iPhone and the other on my wife’s one. So I have to split my passes but I do not know how to do that. Do I have to reset my phone and install the IR app on both devices?
Hi everyone,Im going to travel with one friend (we are both 18 years old) through Europe (Germany, Denmark, Netherland, France, Spain) for 1 month. We are thinking about taking folding bikes with us to be more flexible, fast and spend less money on public transport in the cities. Do you think this would be a good idea? Or do you think we should leave our folding bikes at home? There are no information in the internet about how useful folding bikes are while interrailing…Thank you!
Hi,I’ll be in Hamburg from August 27 to October 31 this year, and I have a “vacation” where I do not have anything to do from October 8 to October 23. I would like to plan a rail trip to some places in Europe, such as Prague, Naples, Amsterdam, and Paris, for example. I have heard that in some cases, a flight is cheaper than taking a high speed rail train trip. I would ideally like to not be in the cheap seats on a trip, preferably first or second class, so I have some room for myself. What are your experiences with traveling long distances by rail in Europe? Are flights better than rail for longer distance (> 8 hours by rail, for example)?
Hi all,Like a few others here, much of my train travel (using my GlobalPass) was meant to happen in the UK next week which is now hobbled by the strikes and I’m wondering a few things. Is it possible to board a train even when reservations are full using my GlobalPass? Or is there some way to discern if a reservation is available further down the line, so at some point I’ll have a proper seat.Or if not, is there any affiliation with coach companies like National Express where I could use my Pass for a coach instead?Trying to sort out travel ASAP for June 21st, London > Penrith.Thanks.*EDIT to add that I’m arriving from Paris on Eurostar the early morning of the 21st.
I’m traveling to Europe landing in Stuttgart on September 1st. I will start using the pass on September 5th to Colmar-then on to Strasbourg-Bad Durkheim-Koblentz-Cochem-Ghent-arriving in Amsterdam on September 23. Looking at the First class, 7 days in one month pass for USD 441. Is that the correct pass to look at?...Thank for any info.
Hello! Does anyone know if there’s a problem with the website right now? I’ve been trying to buy train reservations for the past week but I am not able to press the button "continue to traveler details" I wanted to make a reservation for a train, for late July and beginning of August. I filled in my name, address etc. but I can't buy them.It says that shipping will take too long and the tickets won't arrive on time. But It's more than one month until the trip, so is it really impossible to purchase them? Might it be why the button doesn’t work? or is it a problem with the website
My country of residency is Germany.I want to use to inbound trip to travel from Innsbruck to Berlin. However, I was hoping to stop for a few hours in Munich to meet a friend. Is it possible for me to have a 3 hour stop over on my inbound trip? Also, I was planning on using my outbound trip later to go from Hamburg to Amsterdam. Is it possible to use inbound/outbound in this order, and to/from different destinations? Thank you:)
I am a non-european citizen with Italian residence permit. My family is coming to visit and we wish to travel through Switzerland, France and in Italy using the EU rail pass. My question is if I am eligible to buy an EU rail pass even with an italian residence permit and travel within Italy? Or am I obligated to buy an interrail pass? (but won't be able to travel inside Italy due to the inbound/outbound rule?)
I’m planning on taking a night train from Paris to Narbonne the night of July 5th. I’m able to reserve my seat online but for the second part of my trip, Narbonne to Madrid (the next morning), I am unable to make a reservation. I know that’s how it is for most Spanish trains. But what happens if I pay for the reservation from Paris to Narbonne and there’s no seats on the Narbonne to Madrid train. And how would I book that second seat reservation ahead of time?
Hi! Today when me and my friend were in Nice at the train station Nice Ville something perculiar happened to my eurail app. We were there one hour before the departure to Ventimiglia. And for the fun of it I was just going to take up my phone and check that I added the trip to Ventimiglia on the app. But when I checked my phone, my global pass was absolutely gone. Thankfully I could solve the situation before our departure by deleting and reinstalling the app and also by "re-adding" my global pass. So to the sole purpose of my question, does anyone know why this even happened in the first place? Cause if I wouldn't have fortunately had wifi to reinstall the app, we more or less would have been stranded there which doesn't really seem fair... /Albin

Hi, I’m trying to book 4 seats for my family in https://travel.b-europe.com/, bc https://www.eurail.com/en doesn’t let me, and it’s asking for a Pass Cover Number, which i don’t have. I’ve already tried all the different possible numbers but i’m still getting “You have entered an invalid passholder number”. Please can someone help me? I’m traveling in 2 weeks! Thanks!

Breaking up trip on a 2 month global pass - Does my first train trip have to start in my country of residence (UK) ?
Apologies - a similar question has been asked but the answers did not make sense to me. Am starting to plan !Does my first train trip have to start in my country of residence (UK) ? Due to work commitments we are breaking our trip into two 3 week segments.Would it be better to (if it matters):1 - use the Outbound journey at the start then fly back/out to UK and then use Inbound journey at the end.2 - fly out/back to UK and then Outbound/Inbound on 2 leg Does continuity of travel matter - eg last train ended in Stockholm so next train must start in StockholmMany thanks in advance if you’re able to help
Hi all,I recently bought a paper interrail pass and it has still not been delivered. I was supposed to arrive by the 23rd May 2022, but it hasn’t been delivered, and I haven’t been sent a tracking number or been contacted to tell me about any issue. I have tried contacting interrail numerous times but still no response, and the start time of my ticket is coming up soon (next month)Does anyone know what I could do? Who I might contact? or maybe how I can swap it for a mobile pass?Thank you!Raul
Hello community,I am going to travel the UK in July/August, starting in Germany, taking the Eurostar to London and then traveling through England and Scotland to go back. As our timetable is a bit tight (3 weeks time, so much to see), I just want to know how important it is to reserve seats in the UK. I’ve reserved seats for LNR trains because they are mandatory, but reserving seats for example for Birmingham-Liverpool and Glasgow-Inverness via GWR didn't work out due to that they don’t have seats left in their booking system on the days we want to travel. I’m now thinking of reserving seats at the apcrail website, but it costs 6€ per reservation and I wish to avoid that. Is there a chance that seats will still be available if we book them in person at the train station and/or we just board the train without reserving? I don't mind not having a seat, and we only have small carry-ons anyway.Thank you! :)
Hello! I recently purchased an interrail global pass for 2nd class. But when I booked a train for basel-Milano, I chose a 1st class ticket completely forgetting that I have 2nd class ticket... Can I still keep my train ticket or do I have to cancel them and buy them again? Thanks for the help!
Hello,Yesterday was my first travel day. And everything went fine. Today I wanted to check what time we will leave saterday. But my pass and all my saved journeys are gone. I tried to add the mobile pass to my app again. But that does not work either ("something went wrong"). What do I do?Hopefully someone can help me?
