How to book a FR/ES reservation if the app says "Book at major train stations"
Hello community,I recently purchased an Interrail Global Pass in order to travel to France and Spain next week. My country of residence is Germany. I’m planning to travel from Strasbourg to Barcelona on Wednesday. I have to book two reservations for that tour: One for Strasbourg-Lyon (1) and one for Lyon-Barcelona (2). When I click “How and when to book” in the app it brings me to the “Seat reservations” screen where it only says: “Book at major train stations” What does that mean? I actually want to book my reservation right now in order to have a smooth travel without any hassle. The exact same message applies for my tour from Barcelona to Paris on Friday and for the tour from Paris to Berlin the day after.May you please advise how to handle that? My goal is to get my reservations done right now.
Cancelling an inbound trip the same day because of train problems
Hi community,I am using my last inbound/outbound trip to go back to Germany from the Netherlands today but, unfortunately, a problem has stopped all train traffic in the Netherlands. I know I can't cancel that specific trip the same day but if I had no choice but to go tomorrow, how would it work ?Thanks for your answers
We need reservation tickets Rome- Salerno - Naples. They don't show up in the App yet.
I need to book the tickets from Rome to Salerno and from Salerno to Naples for June 13 and 17 respectively. They don't show up in your app yet. I sent you multiple emails and I have no answer yet. You incorrectly informed me that I could buy them through Italiarail, a service that they don´t provided since 2021. The schedules are already available in other providers apps but not in your app. I bought the eurail pass to simplify my trip and I can't finish buying hotels and flights because you don't update the app. It is a month and a half left to my trip and you haven't charged the trips yet. I need an answer and solution!
Reservations and costs of sleepers eurail/interail price promise
So looking at a 10 day pass and i see the price should be the same for eurail or interrail, however one has 10% off and the other doesn't.no on a 1st class for 2 over 10 days in two month the difference of 90 euros roughly.we are UK residents and confused as hell as to which ones we can and cant book and that the price match appears to be untrue it worries us. Looking at July to go away and there are a couple of over night travles where a sleeper seems like a good idea, what sort of cost can we expect on routes route 1 Milan Central - Salernoroute 2 Roma Termini - VeniceRoute 3 Venice - Vienna what sort of facilities can we expect first or second class?
We are planning to do a Rail tour of Europe starting in June 2023 from the UK.Even though our plan is to travel first class where possible it still works out slightly cheaper to use the Interrail pass.My question is how do you reserve seats on High speed/Night trains. Quite a few of the high speed trains don’t seem to show on the Interrail planner for some reason. Do you have to go on each train company’s website to reserve seats ? This would be a logistical nightmare.For example we plan to Travel from Geneva to Florence (via Milan) on the High speed network (Travel time 6hr 25 mins) but these trains don’t show on the Interrail planner.It’s all quite baffling….I’m beginning to wonder if it will be easier just to book the trains ourselves and not use the Interrail pass after all.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi! I bought a global pass for 7 travel days in 1 month but later realized I only needed 5 days. I bought the second one and requested the exchange (refund of the first one). The confirmation email stated I would hear back in 48 hrs. I didn’t hear from them and for the past week I’ve emailed several times and even chatted and messaged through Facebook. I don’t know how else to contact them. Both passes are unused and not yet activated. I purchased the plus feature to make them 100% refundable. Requesting refund for the original 7 day global pass EU30412802. Would like to keep the 5 day pass. Please help. Maria
Travelling with which pass
Hello everyone,I was wondering which pass to choose. There is the Global and the One-Country-pass and I do not quite get the difference between these two. Can I travel in several countries with the Global-Pass in Europe?Can I travel with sleeper-trains with that pass?Can I travel from my home country to my destination in another country and back with the one-country-pass?Thanks a lot for your help!
Reservation unavailable - Paris - Zurich
I’m trying to book on the 12:22 from Paris to Zurich on the 4th July 2022, on the interrail site it says “Reservation Unavailable”, but on the TGV/SNCF website it states there are seats available to book. Any idea why I can’t reserve the seats? If I bought tickets through TGV direct could I be reimbursed the ticket price?

Hello, me and my friend are trying to reserve seats for the Amsterdam Centraal - Hamburg HBF at 9:10am -2:14pm. We tried multiple times but we keep getting a message telling us about part of the leg of our journey is cancelled. Can anyone tell us what this means? Unable to leave the Netherlands today due to technical failure. How to cancel my today's trip?
Hello, At this moment I was supposed to be on my way to Copenhagen, but due to technical failure at the Dutch railways, I never even made it past Amsterdam. I would like to know how to proceed from here.Attempts to reach out to support while still on the rail failed, as no one could give me any information about an alternative way to reach Germany so I could continue my travel by train from there.So I would like to cancel my trip from today, as I am unable to finish it, and try again tomorrow. In addition I would like to know how I will be compensated for the inconvenience, now I will have to cancel meetings I had planned for tomorrow.Kind regards,Anna
Unable to book seat reservations Marseille-Sable
Hi all, I’m trying to book reservations for traveling from Marseille to Sable (Or Sable-sur-Sartre) on April 24 using my Interrail Global Pass. The Interrail website shows availability in multiple trains, but when I log in it says “SEAT RESERVATIONS UNAVAILABLE” for all the trains… I also checked on https://travel.b-europe.com/ and the prices are more expensive and there is a limited amount of trains (just 2! And I checked on other websites to check if places are available on that day and there are for a lot of trains!).I will be landing in Marseille on April 19, so I guess I could go to the train station to get my ticket but I am scared that there won’t be any places left because it is peak season… Do you think it would be worth it?Also, I have the same problem for my train from Sable to Paris, except that there is only 2 days between the time I arrive and the time I leave so I am just afraid that there won’t be any seats anymore. Eurail self-reservation page shows a trip which is not visible in the mobile app
Hi,I have purchased a eurail global pass. Today I tried to reserve a seat for a train ride on June-2022. I could see the the train ride in the self-reservation page in https://www.eurail.com/en/book-reservations#/. Also I tried to search for the same train ride in the Rail Planner mobile app. However, the mobile app does not return the specific train ride. I tested in both android and apple devices. Has anyone see the inconsistency between the search results between the Rail Planner mobile app and the self-reservation page in https://www.eurail.com/en/book-reservations#/ ?
Seat reservation not available. Pass not valid.
Hi there,I bought 2 One Country Passes for France for my girlfriend and I. In the Rail Planner app I could activate the pass for our journey from Lausanne (CH) to Bordeaux (FR) meaning it is valid for this route (1. screenshot). However, when I try to book our (mandatory!) seat reservations on the interrail website, it says that our passes are somehow not valid on the first train but only on the second (2. screenshot)This is really frustraiting and I really hope that someone can help me out.1:2:
Reservations for mobile pass
I’m trying to use the rail planner app to reserve tickets with a mobile pass and in most cases it says that I can only book these in person. Does this mean as soon as I get to Europe (my stop will be Munich), I have to go to a ticket office and reserve the tickets there and hope they have some free?

Dear sir or madam,Hi my name is Jihyun Gong, i just purchase a eurail pass with my friend.We made a plan with rail planner app delightly, but some issues we faced.First, after add some schedule list in ‘my trip’, and turn on yellow slice button, and we didn’t get confirm email.And we found some notice ‘ seat reservations required’. But when we click that schedule, we couldn’t find to pay.So we entered a eurail website with my computer, and added my schedules, and cart some schedule for pay. But some schedule, like paris to venice ticket, couldn’t pay directly. So I enter another site to get a seat reservation, but that price was different with eurail pass’s price. We have a mobile ticket, no paper. And our journey will start 15th, april. So we don’t have a time to get eurail pass by paper. please don’t hesitate to contact me, we are waiting for you. Hi, would anyone know information about getting on the train from Gard Du Nord to Bruxelles? Do you present your ticket before boarding or onboard? We can’t find anyone with information for Interrail or travel at all. Some help would be great
