Get ready to travel
To ask all about our Passes, reservations & more
I have bought passes for myself and my family to travel from Denmark through Germany and France to Italy.I have had to make several changes, but have now managed to book reservations for all trains - except from France to Italy - and here reservations are mandatory.I am wanting to go from Paris to Milan on July 6th and no matter which connection or train I choose it tells me that prices are unavailable. I found one train directly leaving at 12.46 from Paris, which looked available to book, but every time I try to book it, there is an error, just before I can pay.I have tried looking at different days, and it is all the same. Is it really possible that all interrail tickets are booked in the beginning of July? And if so, how do we get from France to Italy?
Hi! → Have there been any updates on the night train from Thessaloniki to Belgrade? If no, what’s the best way to do so, and how long would it take? → Then, I want to go from Belgrade to Budapest, but I am also struggling… Does anyone know how?Thank you for your help!
Night train reservation- possible to book a whole cochette, or extra supplement for the 6 berth to reserve it fully?
Hello everyoneWe have a second class inter rail ticket. We are a family of 4. We want to get the night train from Toulon to Paris. Is there anyway of booking a whole cochette I am only being offered the 6 birth and I know that if we were just buyng a single ticket we would have the option to pay a supliment to reserve the whole carriage. We have 2 children with us and consequently would like the privacy of our own copartment. Many thanks
hi everyone🌟🌟 I’m currently planning to travel with the interrail pass in September. I have 7 travelling days within 1 month. While planning I was wondering whether travelling out of my hometown/country already counts as the first/last travelling day? thank you for helping me out :)
I just called renfe and made a seat reservation for me and my children (all with interrai passes). The operator gave me a code, called something like Locator number, and told me I need to find it in the interrail site to pay for the seat reservations. They also said they will send the code to my email.1 - Does anyone know where can I add this Locator number in the interrail site? Has anyone some experience with renfe and this way of booking seat reservations?2 - What are best practices when the seat reservation is not possible to do in the interrail site? Neither on deutsche bahn site and neither on scnf or renfe… etcI did not get any email from them… now I am afraid there is no seat reservation and I will miss this connection :(Thank you in advance for any help.
Anyone else having trouble reserving seats? Trying to reserve a seat from Amsterdam to Berlin, and it said that the leg was not available again but literally every single leg is unavailable. And it’s not even a seat that’s required. And why would it even give me the option to select the seat if when It’s time to pay for it, it tells me that it’s unavailable?
I have made a reservation for a Night train Budapest-Brasov on 9 July and it is compulsory to be received by mail, but it says it would be received on 7th July and I will be travelling on that date. Is there any possibility to print those seat reservations by email? Or receive it in my direction and any familiar scan it and I print it afterwards?

Used up in&outbound journeys of 2-month interrail mobile pass, can I still travel outside of country of my residence?
Hello everyone, I am currently living in Switzerland, and I bought a 2-month Interrail Mobile Global Pass for the upcoming summer. However, not fully awaring of the rule about in/outbound trips, I used up my two in/outbound trips in two days. Now though I still have 58 days left, I couldn’t activate any journy at all, even those entirely outside of Switzerland (country of my residence). But in the terms it doesn’t state that all journeys should be made inbetween the in-/out-bound journeys, and it makes no sense as well like that. Since I’ve already booked some seats for trains in France and other countries, it’s urgent for me to figure out if I am still able to travel with this pass in Europe except Switzerland. To specify, my question is: Can I use the Interrail Mobile Global Pass to travel in countries outside Switzerland, after using out my in/outbound journeys? If so, how can I add tickets in the Rail Planner App?I would greatly appreciate it if someone can give me some ideas. Best
Hi, i’m from ItalyMy friends and I have bought a global pass ticket for Spain, because we wanted to leave from our country, but we have a problem with the seats reservations, especially the one on the travel from Valence Tgv Rhone-Alpes Sud to Barcelona-Sants, because, when we are about to book the seats, they ask us the paper ticket but they won’t let us go on booking the seats saying that they wouldn’t arrive in time even though the on the site it says that we can book the seats at least 6 days before and we have plenty of time. Is there a way we can solve this problem? Can we book the seats in an other way?thanks
I am planning to travel through Europe this summer. I read that the mobile app does not get updated/synchronized as often so I resorted to using only the website instead. Now, while planning I am trying to find a way to add all my different trips to a list or something comparable on the website. Is there a way to do this, and if so, how do I do this?It will help me a lot with keeping track of all the reservations and bookings I need to do in order to travel comfortably and orderly.

Hello, We will be taking the train from Nice, France to Milan, Italy on Sunday June 26th. We don't need reservations for the first step of the trip but are required to reserve seats from Ventimiglia to Milan. I have seen the 3:10-6:55 train on Italiarail and Trenitalia but it hasn't showed up on OBB or Eurail. Should I continue to wait, as I still have 3 weeks, or contact customer service? 1st image: Italiarai2nd image: OBB3rd Image: Italiarail (sorry it posted again)figure widget
Hello everyone!I was chosen in one of Discover Eu´s recent evaluations for a one month travel pass. Now I found out, the most travel days you get with this ticket is seven days. Now I think, that two or three days more would just be perfect. I really want to be flexible with how long I stay wherever I am at, which is not the case with the seven days. Also I´d like to go to as many places as possible and stay for a maximum of 4 days. So something between 9 and 12 days would be perfect. I´d be glad to hear about your opinions :) Felix
