Problems with 'My Trip' on the mobile pass
Hi, I’m a first time user and am having problems with the mobile app.I add the first three trains to ‘My Trip’.They appear as a list - so far so good. However if I close the app and come back to it later -When I press ‘My Trip’ only one of the previously entered trains appears.Press ‘My Trip’ again and a different random train from the previously entered trains appears.I can’t get the whole list to appear. This has a knock on effect when I try adding the trains to ‘My Pass’Only one random train appears on the ticket!Has anyone else had this problem - am I doing something wrong?Using iPhone X, software 15.4, Interrail app version 23.0.0Many thanks
Inbound/outbound - While passing my residence country, but not stopping there, is that an inbound or outbound day?
Hi, I have a question about the inbound and outbound days: I would like to travel, from Germany to Vienna, than to Strasbourg, from Strasbourg to Graz and back to Strasbourg. That makes four travel days, and my residence country would be Germany. The problem is, that I am passing Germany two times (Vienna - Strasbourg and Graz - Strasbourg), and I am gonna start my journey in Germany. While passing my residence country, but not stopping there, is that an inbound or outbound day?
Does Eurail Global pass really include the Heathrow Express?
My answer to this is no, despite it being advertised in the Eurail planner. After a long flight from Australia, trying to activate our mobile pass for the first time, the train attendant tells us it isnt valid...because Heathrow Express isnt part of Network Rail (the UK rail consortium that combines all the tracks). Im aware of this, and I was happy that the Heathrow Express was listed as being part of the Eurail pass. But no, the ticket lady said it wasnt part of the pass and that they had tried to explain to Eurail many times that they werent involved in the scheme but they kept having travellers come up to them (like I did) showing them the Eurail Planner rules/inclusions and expecting to be able to use it. Can anyone else confirm if it really is part of the pass or if it isnt and Eurail are just false advertising?
Terms and conditions of Global Pass
Hi, I am considering buying a global pass 4-days to fulfill my travels. My residencial address is in Berlin.Berlin - Eastern France (day1) Eastern France - Paris region (day2) Paris region - Lyon region (day3) Lyon region - Berlin (day4)Nonetheless the way I understand the terms and conditions of this pass, I mainly can use the pass only in Germany, with the exception of two travels: one out and one back to the country of residence.“Der Interrail Global-Pass berechtigt dich zum Reisen in deinem Wohnsitzland. Du kannst eine Fahrt aus dem Land und eine Fahrt in das Land nutzen. Diese Fahrten können jeweils zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt deiner Reise stattfinden”Is this correct? Thanks for giving me some help!Vee

Do I have to use one for the outward journey and one for the return journey of the seven travel days or are they extra?
Hello together!I want to make a trip with Interrail in the summer and want to take the Global Pass with 7 travel days. One question I have is how the trains are regulated to get to the foreign country and to get back to the home country at the end. Do I have to use one for the outward journey and one for the return journey of the seven travel days or are they extra? So then seven travel days plus two extra for the trip abroad and in the home country.Thank you!
The need of 2 pass cover numbers
@Nanja Hey there :) As my boyfriend and I both have a mobile pass, we do not have a pass cover number. Unfortunately, we need to enter the pass cover number to book our seats for a train from Strasbourg to Paris. We cannot continue without the pass cover number so could you please give us 2 pass cover numbers so that we can book our seats?Thank you in advance!Best wishes,Marie
Edit trip in Railplanner app
I have a question about the Electronic Global Pass. I travelled last month with my global pass.In the Railplanner App you can enter a trip for the pass. The trip will be on the ticket. The ticket inspector will scan the barcode on your ticket and will check if the train you are on has been added to your ticket. Now i have te following situation. I made a trip from Munster (Germany) via Munich to Innsbruck (Austria). I had it in one trip. The problem was with the train from Munster to Munich which ends (because of a delay) in Stuttgart (next stops where cancelled). In Stuttgart i had to take another train. The problem is i couldn’t change the trip (only delete it). And i also couldn’t add another trip from Stuttgart to Munich to my Pass. I don’t know the error but i think it was something like an overlapping trip can not be added.I know deleted de complete trip and added new trips (the previous trains en the new trains).Did i something wrong ? I think it must be possible to change a
Travel Day Question - I am wondering if these travel days must be used consecutively?
Hi, I just have a question about the Eurail pass I was hoping you could help me with. I'm just a bit confused about how the 'Travel Days' work. I am wondering if these travel days must be used consecutively? For example, If I pick the option for 10 travel days in 2 months, do I only have a 10 day period within those two months in which I can use the Eurail pass? Or, alternatively, can I break down those 10 days over the two months? (e.g. Use '1 day' of travel today, and then 2 weeks later use another '1 day' of travel?). I hope this makes sense! Your help is much appreciated,
Global Pass changing date
Hi!If I buy the global paper pass I have to chose the starting date of my trip. I have several questions concerning this fact:1. If it happens that I can't travel during the time I chose, is it possible to change the date or change the ticket?2. Do I have to leave my country on the starting day of the Ticket or can I leave a few days later?3. If I chose the 10 days in 2 months ticket do I have to be back in my home country on the exact day two months after leaving or can I come back earlier?
I want to see the actual seats I am reserving - Can I do this?
I have eurail passes for my wife and I and want to make seat reservations for several trips while in Italy. Is there any way to see the actual seats you want to reserve, or do they just get randomly chosen for you? We've traveled extensively in Germany and we have always been able to choose the actual seats we want. Thanks for any help, Dennis
Reservation for private compartement for Intercité de Nuit (SNCF)
Hello, we just bought interrail passes for France and wanted to make a reservation through the Interrail reservation system for a night train to Toulouse. On the SNCF Connect website, there was the possibility to choose having a private compartment for an extra 45€, which is not available on the Interrail reservation site. So is it impossible to book a private compartment as an upgrade with an interrail pass?
Travel through country of residence without visiting it
Hello,I am courrently planning my interrail trip, but I’ve got I problem.I want to travel from Rotterdam to Copenhagen, but the problem is that i have to travel through germany, which is my Country of residence. Therefore I need to use one of my out/inbound tickets or is there any other possibility? I had to set a date on which I wanted to start the trip. Is this date fixed or can it still be changed?
I want to do my first interrail trip with a global pass this summer. As there ist the 10% sale right now, I wanted to buy the '10 days in 2 months' ticket today. But at one point of filling in my data I had to set a date on which I wanted to start the trip. Is this date fixed or can it still be changed?Bc if the tickets aren't on sale, they can be used flexibly within 11 months.I couldn't find any information on this topic, so I did not buy the ticket yet.hope somebody can help :)
