How to make seat reservation?
Hi,My girlfriend and I are so hopeless trying to find out how to reserve seats. Can you please give us detailed instructions on how to do that?We tried the seat reservation via the app and the train website as well. We just couldn't figure it out.Our trip is on 12 August at 10:19 from Brindisi, Italy, to Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Nightjet - unforeseen transfer due to construction works
When we made reservations for our train and planned our trip there was no construction work planned in Italy. But tomorrow we leave Budapest to go to Rome with the nightjet from Vienna and have to have a transfer in Bolonga. We planned it exactly so it would only take one day, because we board the train before midnight and were not supposed to have a transfer. With the transfer it would take an extra day on our interrail and we simply don't have room for that. So do we need to make room in our days and pay our self for a ticket for the extra trainday or is this covered by the rail company?
Can't make a seat reservation: KARLSRUHE HBF (Germany) - PARIS EST (France)
Hi Interrail Community!I have now been trying for som hours to make a seat reservation for the train that goes from KARLSRUHE HBF to PARIS EST (Monday, August 16, 2021, 06:05 PM - 08:47 PM), and i must now realise that i don’t have the ability to do so. I feel like i have been trying everything, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?
Reservations - open 3 hours before departure time
Hello, me and my friends are going to do our 1st interrail in 2 weeks and we were trying to do the train reservations but we couldn't. In the site says the the reservations open 3 hours before departure time, and we were wondering if is that so, because we are going to board in some early trains. We are having trouble in making the reservations in general because in some train travels we have to switch trains and the site in only allowing us to make a reservation of a part of the trip and we would like some help.
Exchange of 2020 global pass
Dear Interrail Team,I have requested an exchange of my 2020 global pass after my journey was interrupted due to covid measures in spring last year. Following your advice I asked for exchange at the train station where I purchased the original pass. The staff there had no clue and told me to contact Interrail directly. That's what I did more than a week ago and I'm still waiting for a reply. I want to start traveling on 11th August and would really appreciate your reply before that date.Thanks,Marco
Train without reservation - France
Hi!I will be taking a Train from Nice to Italy tomorrow and it does not requiere a reservation. But since France has those automatic controlls and no conductor, I am wondering if the QR Code in the App will be accepted and let me pass through? Because in the last trains I only scanned the paper reservation ticket and never used the Code from the App. Any experience? another question: is it mandatory to print the E-Ticket reservations for Trains in Italy?
E-Passes Reservations; traveller details
Hi everyoneNext weeks I am going to travel with a friend using the Global Youth E-Passes (7 in a month) that I received as a winner of a contest. I have planned the trip and also activate the pass. However it seems I am not able to book any seats (We have some journeys that require it), because when I log in to the account I created on EURail is not possible to use the booking planner. There is no reservation linked and when I try to manually create a trip (by copying that I have on my phone) it asks me info I do not have like the ISSUER (moreover, the examples describe the situation in the case you have a paper ticket). My account seems… not linked to any ticket. I do not know if there is something I do not catch or there is a problem. Can someone help me, please? Many thanks in advance.
Reservations issue; Rotterdam - Paris
Hi all, I've seen that a few people are having issues with reservations but essentially my partner and I have a global mobile pass and are attempting to make a reservation for a train from Rotterdam to Paris on 10 August. However, we are getting the issue "No price results were found for this connection. Please try searching again or find an alternative way to book." Has anyone received this error specifically and got advice to the best way forward? I've also noticed this for future train trips we have planned in August so any advice would be really appreciated :)
Error on the reservation page
i keep getting an error when i want to purchase the reservation. the page loads and then suddenly changes and the timeline has a red dot with error. Is there an issue with the reservations? can I try again later/tomorrow? iowa France country passtrying to reserve a night train
Reservation not available
Hello. I am currently trying to book reservations in France and Italy. Sadly the website always says “not available”, even though I have tried every date and time that is possible. I have also tried booking over the ItaliaRail website, but they have no function where you can say that you own an Interrail Pass. I can only book tickets not reservations over the Italian website despite the Interrail website saying, that booking only reservations over the ItaliaRail website should be possible. Can anyone help me solving this problem? Why does it always say “not available”? (I have looked on other websites the train is available and not fully booked)
Adding mobile pass on new phone
Hello everyone,has anyone ever had the problem that your phone broke before your journey where you had already added your mobile pass and now you can’t add it on the new phone? (“This pass is already activated on another device”).Is there a possibility to add it on the new phone and deactivate it on the old one?
Global Pass 5 day in 1 month
So here is my situation: I am coming in from California, my first day in Europe is September 5th (Madrid), then to Barcelona (September 7th), then on to Switzerland (September 10), where I plan to be for several days and travel within the country.I bought a 5-day within 1 month first class global pass, so my question is, what counts as a travel day? Is local transportation included and counts as a travel day?Thanks
Pass not working; more travel days showing as used
My son and his friend purchased the 6 day per month and under his friends app it says she has used all six days but only has 5 days of travel booked. The 6th day which they haven’t booked is not on the app. My son is doing the exact same trip and his app is correct with 5 days of travel and one free day. They have updated the app and restarted the phone. No change! Please advise as they are on a train right now. and thank you for your help.
Problem to add my pass on my mobile phone ''details don't match''
Hello ! I bought 2 mobile pass but I am not able to add them on the app. It says « your details don’t match ». I tried to reload and reload the app or to add the passes on another mobile phone but it still don’t work. I am supposed to travel, within a few days everything is planned but the customer still don’t answer so I can’t book my first travel. Is someone able to help me ? Thank you very much !! Mélanie.
Problem after payment reservation
Hello, i’ve had a problem just after the payment of my reservation.What normaly happen after this ? A instant mail wich confirms with the billet ? something else ? I’ve buy my global pass on 31/07 , and i planned to go on Sunday 07 .. it’s my second problem for reservation .. can some one help ?
Getting help at local stations about eurail pass and trip.
Hi! For people who have travelled before with Eurail and have had issues. Have you been able to go directly to the local station of the country you’re in and get help with your passes? I had an issue on the way to Paris but the Eurail customer service is very backed up as you may know. I’m hoping the train workers can help out with my problem. If someone can respond with any information within the next few hours or tomorrow that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Paid, but didn't receive anything
Yesterday i bought an interrail ticket for me and 3 other people. I am still waiting for a confirmation email or some sort but it does not seem to be comming. I’ve tried all ways of contacting but the phone number i could find didn’t work, the help bots couldn’t do any good and there is still no reply to my mail.
Train not in operation; longer route instead
Hello, A couple of times now I have booked tickets for trains or journeys that simply did not exist. The first time was going from Brussels to Luxembourg City. I used a Travel Day to book a ticket for a direct, fast train the night before. Traveling by rail was meant to be less complicated and faster than bus. When I arrived at the train station in the morning, I discovered that the train did not exist and instead was sent via 4 trains and a bus on a journey that was almost 3 times as long as what I booked. Had I known, I would have saved my Travel Day for a different date and booked a direct bus instead. Today, the same thing has occurred traveling between Munich and Zurich. This morning I went to the train station and used up my last Travel Day to book a direct, fast train. This was confirmed by station workers. After departing on the train, however, I was informed that the train is no longer direct, that my journey requires 2 connections, and thus is now longer than advertised. This
Impossible to make a reservation / Imminent departure; Paris - Munich
Hi, We are unable to make seat reservations for our Paris - Munich trip tomorrow pm (08/08). Prices aren(t shown.We have contacted the Interrail support team but it appears they are receiving too many requests and wont be able to answer us in time.We have checked on the national railway company website: there are still seats available. However, we can't find a way to book seats with an “interrail option”. It seems the number of Interrail seats are limited, but we have never been informed of this… Do you have any information that could help us ?Many thanks, Julie
