Traveling Paris-Switzerland-Italy: will I need to book each section and pay for a reservation?
I’m concerned about the connections between Paris-Lucern-Zermatt-Milan-Venice. It’s multiple countries, trains and connections. I haven’t purchased our Eurail yet, plan to soon, but will I need to book each section AND pay the reservation fee for each leg of the trip? We will be staying one night in Lucern and 2 nights in Zermatt. I’m really excited about taking the Glacier Express for the Zermatt to Brig section then on to Milan and Venice. Any advise & tips would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Reservation Spain and France in August; seat availability unknown
Hello, I am trying to reserve 4 train tickets for the TGV 9702 TGV INOUI from Barcelona-Sants to Paris Gare de Lyon on the 2. of August at 10:00 am. I think these reservations are only available as paper tickets.If I try to make the reservation on the eurrail/interrail website it tells me that the amount of available seats is unknown. How can I reserve seats, if the website doesn't know how many seats there are?Also I read on a different page that reservations for Spain can only be done at train stations, so how is it possible to do one on the website? I am very confused and would be grateful for some help.
Berlin up to Lisboa with a day stop/over night in Paris and Madrid. Any advice on connections?
Hello, I think about travelling from Berlin up to Lisboa with a day stop/over night in Paris and Madrid (or Night train Madrid-Lisboa) by using a Global Pass in spring. I spent really a lot of time by using the Planner App and or this website - but failed... Is there any way (Service center? Whatever...) to have a working connection put together completely (train connection plus reservation (if absolutely necessary))?Thanks,Ber
Rail travel to a wedding in Italy in May
We want to travel to a family wedding in May. Leaving England on May 25th - travelling by Eurostar to hopefully Paris. I think the night in Paris and then a look around the following day would be good. We really need to be as close to the wedding venue - 25mins outside of Verona Italy on the Friday night so we can easily get to the wedding venue the following day.We are at the wedding venue on the Saturday and Sunday night (28th and 29th) but will need to get back to England on June 1st.So we’re looking for suggestions about 26th and 27th and then travel back. Is there a way to get a refund for a delayed train from company Mav/Mav start?

I am trying to figure out where/when my Global pass is valid (prior to purchasing) and when I use the train schedule/timetable page on the Eurail site, the left side of the page is red and says, “pass not valid” and the right side is green and says, “you’re ready to board”. I am confused...may I use the Global pass or not? Thank you so much! And...below is my hopeful use of trains with the Global Pass. Reservation with mobile pass
Surely that´s been asked before, but I can´t find the answer… I´ve just bought 3 mobile passes and I don’t know how to make the reservations. Do you have to make the trips on the app before making the reservations? I still don´t know the exact schedule I will take, so I can´t make an exact trip, but I´d like to make reservations for the Thalys, TGV and Freccia Rossa that we will take… Can I make the reservations for the 3 of us together? Is there any tutorial or something like that? We’ll be travelling on april. Thank you all!!
How to book reservations for 2 people
My girlfriend and I have bought mobile, 10 day passes. We have never been to Europe before (Canadians). These are the questions I have:When you plan a trip some stops/trains say there is a reservation needed. How do I make reservations? I have tried to make them on the Rail Planner App and online but have had no luck at all. I have read countless how-to guides with no success. For example, most say to go to the eurail/interrail website to make them. I go to the website, click “yes” when asked if I have a pass, when I go to log in/create an account there is no where for me to enter my pass number like all of the online forums say there is; and when I go to my account settings, there is no option to add a pass/ traveller. And once logged in and I click to book reservations its just a FAQ page with nothing to actually book the reservations. One train we want is from Interaken to Venice, there is 2 changes on the journey and the 3rd from from Brigs requires seat reservations. When making

Is a photo of a reservation valid aswell?
Situation: I want to travel from Barcelona to Paris with the TGV 9708 INOUI but the only way to book a reservation is by getting the ticket sent to an address. But by the time that the ticket will arrive, I’ll already be on my way back to Germany.Will a photo of the reservation get accepted (e.g. a family member at home sends me a pic of it)? Or do I need to have the papers with me when a ticket inspector asks for a reservation?

HelloI am going from Spiez, Switzerland to Firenze, Italy on 12 April 2022.I bought a Eurail pass.I made a reservation for a seat from Paris to Interlaken, but I kept trying to go from Spiez to Firenze, but it didn't work.I searched and found that the Trenitalia website does not accept seat reservations for Eurail Pass holders.I'm trying to reserve a seat through Rail Planner, but it only shows up like this. can you help me?

Hello, my girlfriend and me are trying to make a reservation for a seat from London-Paris for her, throw Eurostar but they are asking for the pass cover number and we cant seem to find it! Hello all, I am planning a reservation in which requires a printed ticket. I live in the US so don’t have the option to get it delivered directly to me. What are your recommendations in obtaining the ticket? I read that some got it delivered to them in Europe at the hotel/hostel they are staying at days before their trip as they were already in Europe (this is possible for me as I will be in Europe prior to the departure date). Should I just do this? Or is there a better option?
Reserve seats in Spain
Hello,In 2020 I won 2 interrail tickets. Unfortunately I got diagnosed with cancer shortly after. Treatment was long, and the consequences quite bad. So we still did not get a chance to use them.Now I have simplified a travel route, because with my phisical dissability and all the cancer treatments, I cant do a lot anymore. The plan was to fly to Malaga from NL on the 5th of March. Then 3 nights there, then the train to Barcelona on March 8th, 5 nights, and then the train from Barcelona to Paris on the 13th of March. And then back to NL. Ive read we can only book when we are on the station. Will 3 nights before be enough for Malaga -Barcelona and 8 nights before enough for Barcelona - Paris?Due to my condition, its not really possible to be flexible. So I kinda have to know if we will get seats on those trains. I really cant find anything that can tell me its going to be ok. If not, we will have to cancel these plans once again. And my tickets will no longer be valid. Thank you in adva

A quel moment faut-il payer pour réserver les sièges ?3. Et lorsque on les a payés, est ce que c'est modifiable et/ou annulable ?4. J'ai vu que sur votre site pour la réservation de siège, pour certains trajets il est impossible de réserver (ex pour l'Espagne, ou lorsqu'il y a le message d'erreur "Aucun tarif n'a été trouvé pour cette correspondance. Veuillez effectuer une nouvelle recherche ou trouver une autre méthode de réservation."). Comment faire dans ce cas ? Quels sont les autres moyens ? L’ajouter dans le trajet sur l’application mobile où se trouve le pass ne suffit pas ?5. De plus, il est parfois écrit "Disponibilité des sièges inconnue", qu'est ce que cela signifie ?6.
